Mr. Obama, that won't help you much. Don't be silly. You'd better get a better weapon to fight those nasty Republicans back. You're just crystallizing Michelle, and over-estimating her. I understand you: you're in love. But that won't help you with the polls. Michelle WAS NOT electrifying, inspiring no one, and was absolutely NOT magnificent at all.

She may have you beat? Don't make me laugh. Don't keep saying that, it will come back to you, the Republicans are smarter than you can imagine.

I know that some of you won't like what I've said, but it is not a Romeo we need in this moment, but a tough guy who can put McCain constantly on the defensive with his contradictions, his being out of touch with most issues.

What is wrong with a man giving respect and adoring his wife? Many times African Americans men are perceived as those who do not uphold their responsibilities as a husband or a father and Obama is showing that these stereotypes are untrue. Does Clinton look weak showing an emotional face as his wife speaks?

America has been asking for Obama to connect with them. They needed and wanted to see his personal side. Some claim that they don't know him and this night Michelle did just that. She gave you a the man she has known for 19 years, a man of compassion, values, love, dedication, and a hard worker for both his family and the American people.

It would be crazy to think that Michelle's speech is expected to win the presidency for Obama, but it will help. Why? America now sees the person. Each speaker who presented showed us the character and he will bring it home by showing us the his role as Commander and Chief.

You're kidding right? Michelle Obama's speech was spectacular and allowed the nation get to know her better - to find our where she came from and how she got to where she is today. In my opinion, that was the purpose of the speech not to be a weapon against McCan't. Barack Obama had every right to be proud of her because she is an amazing women. Please - grow up!

I sincerely believe that Michelle touched the hearts of everyone in attendance at the convention, and Americans across the nation tonight with a brilliantly presented speech. Absolutely awesome! Only viewers without a heart could not been affected by the traditional strength and presence of our past first family, the Kennedy clan supporting Uncle Teddy as he struggles for his life; or by the inclusion of a spontaneous and loving interaction between our future first family, Michelle, Barack, Sasha and Malia.

I don't know what kind of a supporter you are - maybe someone who just likes to stir up trouble... but you are skoking crack ifyou didn't think her speech was amazing last night. Barack had every right to praise her! People needed to see who Michelle Obama was and she DELIVERED! Everytime they panned in on people in the audience - they were completely focused on her, most with tears streaming down their faces. If you think a man can't be strong, yet sensitive at the same time like Barack is, shame on your parents for not teaching you the same.

Have faith - Barack will fight when he has to - but we also have to win this election and make sure people know who The Obama's are.

Tuesday Aug. 26 2008: Well the first day of the democratic convention came with a lot of excitement and so called tension. I feel like this is a defining moment for Barack Obama and for the country as a whole. I'm not that old but i've never seen an election where you have 2 distinct differences in candidates, so every moment is important in this election. There are 3 things that Barack Obama and the democratic party need to do during this convention to consider it a success. Each convention day I will go over these points and see how they did the night before.

If you look closely this week, you might catch a glimpse of Barack Obama at the Democratic National Convention in between appearances by the Clintons. Hillary Clinton is doing her dead-level best to take title to Obama's moment in the sun.

She lost. He won. She and her family will be everywhere.

She speaks tonight. Chelsea Clinton will introduce her. She will be preceded by a video produced by her own people, the same ones who produced the "Man from Hope" for Bill Clinton. He will speak tomorrow.

The Clintons will also use the convention to raise money to retire her campaign debts. They even came up with a cute little contest. Hillary Clinton awarded one lucky donor a trip to the convention with her.

And as an enticement to cough up some bucks, Bill Clinton sent an e-mail to potential contributors promising a memorable week with his wife. (Insert your own joke here)

He said, "You'll get to see Hillary speak on Tuesday and Barack Obama -- the next president of the United States -- on Thursday. And I hear Hillary and you will have a chat -- I'll make sure I stop by."

Makes you want to borrow money against your house, doesn't it? How gross.

It's not like they have been bending over backwards to help Obama get elected. Bill Clinton has barely been polite. He couldn't even bring himself to say he thought Obama is qualified to be president. Now, Bill Clinton is reportedly not happy about the topic of his speech Wednesday night.

Politico.com reports the former president wanted to talk about the economy under President Bush compared to his accomplishments during his term in office. The theme for Wednesday night is "Securing America for the 21st Century." It seems Bill Clinton is forever more interested in reminding us of what a charming guy he was while in office than in acting like one of the leaders of his party and trying to get his party into the White House.
