I am SOOOOOOO sick of this "First?" crap I could scream. Who cares? Why do I have to read about who posts first, with the next 5-10 entries congratulating them on being "first?”

It always seems to be the same people too who get to be first. Don’t they have anything better to do with their time? I know I have better things to do with my time than rant about this, but I'm begging you . . . PLEASE STOP THIS MADNESS!!

I could not agree more. My best guess is that they are trying to drive up their points. So they stay online and just post so they can keep getting points. I have quit reading the comments for this reason.

Adrianne and Richard,

Growl. "Firsts" are such infantile activities . And the way they trap the whole thread.

I have complained to no avail. I think I will be a pest though. I will go out there and report each "first". I will use text like the following paragraph.

Yes its done to drive up points. If I were running the show. I would put a fast stop to this by SUBTRACTING FIVE POINTS for such activity. No glory and it hurts a little. As long as any above zero points are awarded, this will continue.

Other point grabbing activity is having 2,000 friends and belonging to 300 groups. Another problem on myobama are off topic "beggars" that show up after "first" to ask for money.

Reaction by MYBO has been in the wrong direction if you ask me. Points are being devalued for everyone. And worth less each week. For example posting a blog entry used to be 15 and now its 5. My posts involve real (and I hope somewhat original) thinking.

Great thought for a rant though!
