They just still don't get it. As I listened to the Senate debating and saw the vote in the House that had no Repubs it was obvious they have absolutely no intention on doing anything but their goofy ideology.
Nixon had the wage/price freeze...I had to quit a job that I liked just to get a "raise" by getting a new job
Reagan had trickle down economics and deregulation and I saw the greed get out of hand back then and the economy fall for everyone except the rich.
We all know the Bushes did nothing to improve the economy and #43 absolutely failed us.
Now we have those die hard Reagan wannabes with the same ideas that got us in this mess to start with.
A BUNCH OF TAX BREAKS ARE USELESS!!!!! Repubs think big breaks to business will create jobs. Excuse me? What smart business person would start a business if there's no one to buy the product or service! That's bad business! And why did the Repubs insist on cutting infrastructure spending? That creates good jobs and good transportation systems that would last for YEARS. Or are the Repubs waiting for all the bridges to fall down and kill people?
