Hey Folks,
This weekend a few of us got together to canvas the Buffalo, MN parade and register voters. It was a successful day...non-registered voters got on their way to being able to vote, Barack supporters were offered encouragement and sported stickers & buttons, undecided's walked away with litterature and a face to put to the campaign, and I am hoping that McCain supporters took note that there was NOBODY their representing the republican party or their candidate.
Visibility really matters, folks, and I strongly encourage each of you to do what you can this summer to get Barack's name out there. There is still a sizeable percentage of the population that listen to the smears and do not take the time to really find out who Barack is and what he stands for. It is up to us to help enlighten that part of our society, and make sure that these people are making their decisions on how to vote for the right reasons.
So, in a nut shell, grab every chance you get to put yourself out there this summer spreading the good news. It really, truly does make a difference.
...and November is going to be here before we know it!
