IT REALLY IS POSSIBLE • That the American People Really Have Finally Woken Up from their Long Political Torpor • That a Critical Mass of the Electorate Really Have Seen through the Crap • That Alternative Media Really Do Make Mainstream Media Vulnerable to Subversion & Displacement • That We Really Can Mount an Effective Challenge to the Richest & Most Powerful Interests on Earth • That this Nation's Long Downhill Slide over the Past 30 Years Really Can Be Arrested & Even Reversed • That a Critical Mass of Young People Really Have Actually Begun To Care About Politics & Public Life • That Divisions of Race & Class & Gender & Religion & Culture & Politics Really Can Be Bridged • That this Nation's Future is Not Bleak but Promising • That in the Next Eight Years under an Obama Presidency We Really Can Remake American Democracy and this Nation's Place in the World
