This story from the Washington Post must be passed far and wide, and fast. If Al-Qaeda does in fact strike, it probably would work like a charm and McCain would get a huge spike.

Background: Carter was leading by about 10 points, 8 days before the 1980 election. One "Amy" remark, and "Are you better off now than 4 years ago?" in the final debate, and Reagan won by a landslide. Surprises do work. We need to warn people to be wary of this.
