LINES
I pray that there are some great lines worthy of this moment and venue.
Would love to hear some from you all at http://my.barackobama.com/page/group/GreatLinesForandAboutObama
One that has kept running through my mind goes something like:
Obama points to the front few rows - You see these people...right there...at the Republican convention those seats will be filled with people who gave HUGE sums of money to be close to the nominee...here these people may have given 5$ and maybe nothing.
Obama points to a strategically placed pro athlete or Scarlet Johanson up on a middle level
The wealthy are here...they support me...but they know they are EQUAL to and in no way MORE important that the citizenry of this country.
Obama makes a gesture suggesting "out of the park"
And outside...well...that is where this campaign, your donations and belief an support has put the Lobbyist and special interests that have strangled this nation for too long and run my opponent campaign...They are outside here in Denver and they will be OUTSIDE in the washington DC you will be rebuilding when you vote for me in November.
