First off, let me say that the reason why I'm not sending out this message through my other account is because I do not want to provoke the person involved, as they would probably check my sent messages and see this.
Since I've moved to Wisconsin, someone has had unapproved access to my Obama account. The person e-mailed me a screenshot of my account with them logged in as well as screenshots of some nasty messages they were in the process of sending out in my name.
To briefly explain the situation: I've used a relative's computer to blog for the last few months. When I left to Wisconsin, I forgot to log out one last time before I moved out of their house and to WI (I used the “remember me” feature so that I did not have to log in each time I visited MYBO). Since then, the relative's stepson has e-mailed me pictures of my MYBO page as well as him being in the midst of typing some SICK comments within my MYBO account (after checking my MYBO points, the last comment I posted was posted by me the day I left the house, so apparently he didn't post the comments that he typed up[the screenshots he sent were from the preview screen] ). However, in my MYBO points section it said that someone had logged in on 5/31, and I hadn't logged on that day (didn't have the internet; on my way to WI).
I received these e-mails this morning, just after my parents had the Internet installed at our new place. I'm related to the kid; I'm not going to take things further except to have my current account deleted (without affecting my “MYBO record”) and to set up a new account.
Long story short, I have to set up a new MYBO account and have to try and convince admin to delete my former account. I know, it's 22,000 points, $1200 FR dollars, and some 1,000 messages down the drain, but I think I'd better be safe than sorry in this situation.
Please do me a favor and send me a friend request at my new account; sending out 500 requests would take days.... :)
