Below, you'll find the pitch I used at my caucus in Seattle, Washington. It was extremely well received.

Obama has 11+ years as an Illinois and U.S. Senator. In just two years, he sponsored 780 bills - of which 280 became law. He has a 100% approval rating from Planned Parenthood. There are four ways Obama is an agent for change: (1) on Super Tuesday, he won most of the red states; in November, his coattails will help elect the 60th Democratic senator, thereby ending Republican fillibusters; (2) he has a life long track record of working well with Republicans, so he has the best chance of passing bipartisan legislation; (3) he doesn't take money from lobbyists, who have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo; (4) he opposed the Iraq War from the beginning, and offers the sharpest contrast to McCain.
Everyone should attend an Obama rally. There's an electricity in the air that isn't normally associated with politics. There is a lot of depth to this man, as seen in his two moving, insightful books. Come November, Independents and Republicans alike will reach the same conclusion about Obama that many Democrats have already reached: that he's an honorable man who can heal the divisions of our country.
