John McCain travelled down to the friendliest crowd possible for a GOP presidential candidate trying to consolidate the Hater Wing of the Conservative Swamplands: the Anti-Castro Battistanistas in Miami. Oh they were out in force and Oh they were wringing their hands. You remember this crowd, don't you? When Castro came down from the Sierra Madres and forced General Battista out of office and then threw out the Mafia and the pimps who were running Cuba in the 1950s, the first wave of the Cuban "exiles" were Battistanistas who settled in Florida. These are the people who have been agitating for the overthrow of Castro ever since.
Anyway, McCain slams Senator Obama for being a tool of organized labor for opposing the free trade pact with the Right-Wing Columbian dictatorship...keep in mind that Columbia's death squads are responsible for killing labor union organizors...THEN Mcain gets cheers from this crowd when he calls for free and open elections in cuba and the RIGHTS OF UNIONS TO ORGANIZE!!!
HEL-LOOOW...Earth to McCain: you can't have it both ways. You can't pander to Union-muderers in Columbia and call for labor rights in Cuba.
But then...consider the crowd--Right Wing Cubans want to return to the Battista Cuba of the 1950s and they will sacrafice anything--including morality and commonsense to achieve their goal.
In that context, McCain is truly their guy.
