Reverend Wright said so many things so many people have said in the past, especially regarding 9/11. In my opinion, the clips of reverend Wright the media has been showing says that the man is beyond frustrated by the government. He is not mad at individuals but the few, the status quo, who have been running this country to the ground. Why would any American say "God damned America"? Lack of patriotism? On the contrary! This is deep and must be analyzed not just criticized for a man who once served in the US marines

later says damned the country he loves enough to serve. In my opinion "God damned America" was directed at the government and not the country as a whole. He blamed the government for 9/11 by saying "WE bombed Hiroshima, ...".
When people feel frustrated and powerless to undue injustice done to something or someone they love, they react as such. This sort of anger is in mostly the older folks as they have lived through more atrocities in this world and are overfilled with anger.
Why is this burden on Barack? Well, it's because the status quo, that reverend Wright was refering to, is making an all pathetic attempt to stop Barack from becoming president. They know if (or when) Barack becomes president, real change will come to this country. They are afraid that change may leave them behind as that change will carry forth the ordinary people with the extra-ordinary strengths that holds this nation.
People are saying Barack's policies are shaped by this one man, rev Wright. They talk as if rev. Wright taught Barack in law school or raised him as a boy. As if Barack is not an independent man capable of his own thoughts. All they have to do is look at Barack's record to know that statement is FLAWED! Even if Barack were the man's son, the Bible said the son will not bear his father's sins and vice versa. To each his own burden. There are many Americans who harbor intense resentment towards the status quo though they may not be as vocal as rev. Wright. There are many others with family/friends who harbor even more intense resetment towards other Americans based on color and/or creed. Should these people be prosecuted for the crime of those they know, respect and maybe even love? Should they be crucified for such? This country needs serious healing before the hatred of each other and/or the power that be consumes us! Maybe this is the transition period to get there.
Obama 2008!!!!!!
