Don't get me wrong I still respect Obama for taking the high road on a lot of things in his campaign, but voting for FISA and promising Change that gives us back our rights don't mix - it's either one or the other.
This makes me wonder: so what is Obama all about- making false promises you can't keep, like every other Washington insider (of course there are good exceptions like Kucinich, R Paul, Dodd, Wexler, and Feingold); or actually delivering on Hope?

The change Obama brings to the table is not just that on Policy. The change Obama brings is just not historical with him being the First African American President. The change Obama brings is just not relief from the same Bush Policies that McCain is offering.
The change Obama is bringing is Inspiration. This inspiration that Obama is bringing to Washington is not only causing Republicans to reach over to Democrats and our Nominee, but it is causing independants and 527s to see what this election is really about, it's about you and I.The change Obama brings is causing me to get involved in campaigning in a way I never would've before.
I agree that Obama has changed some of his proposals, but look at what McCain is doing and look at how the Media is suddenly hot on his side. Please dont give up on Change this election, we cannot afford four more years of Washington running Washington.

Give me a break.
The longer this election is taking the more McCain and Obama seem the same. They're willing to say anything just to get a vote, and do anything to get money and support from special interests like the telecoms and the AIPAC. (O yeah just because McCain does it - it doesn't mean I can condone it.)
Don't worry. Given that is this a another re-run of Clinton vs. Dole, Obama will easily be the victor; since watching McCain talk is like watching paint dry.
I'll probably be voting Ron Paul. At least he and Kucinich are consistent.

before I forget... I really don't give a damn what race or gender a candidate is. Does it really matter if everyone of different demographics are sellouts?
All I care about at this point is saving the democratic republic I grew up in, and the freedoms it provided us, before turns into something ugly and totalitarian like China. With complicit people liek Pelosi and Reed (and now Obama) this is fast becoming a reality.
