I appreciate your patients in waiting for this email. I hope the Holiday’s have been kind to you all.
This is a follow up as well as a thank you for signing up and/or attending the “Change is Coming” meeting(s) at the Salt Lake City Public Library. There were a total of 3 meetings (2 on Saturday and 1 on Sunday) held at the Library by Marc Buckley and up to 12 others throughout Utah and somewhere close to 2,400 around the nation. We received local news coverage in the Deseret News and on Fox 13 Utah as well as a call from the headquarters in Illinois in order to be placed on a national press release. So believe it or not our voice was heard and there was notice taken.

Direct from the Office of the President Elect Barack Obama we will be showing the DVD "Change is Coming."
We will also take time to discuss the issues that are most important to you, what you can do to support President Elect Barack's agenda, and how you can continue to make an impact in your community.
This event will be fun and personal. We will give everyone a chance to participate should they be so inclined. Now is the time to put aside partisanship and politics, find common ground, and work together.
This meeting is open to the Public those who might not have been involved in the Presidential campaign, even those who might have supported someone other than President Elect Barack Obama. The challenges we face demand we be as inclusive as possible. It'll take the whole country working together to get our country back on track. We will also discuss and plan a Obama Inauguration party with dinner and dancing. Come and be part of the move for change.
Today I went to a party hosted by another volunteer from moveon.org (celebrating it's tenth birthday, btw), and we called moveon members in Colorado to ask them attend a session at Obama HQ is Boulder and Denver next Saturday. I personally signed up three people and it was awesome. I had the opportunity to talk to a lot of people from around the valley who are not put off by our red-state legacy. We were able to make a difference today, and that felt great!
I am also hosting a debate watching party Friday, for people with small kids. It should be a blast!
I am also on the committee for the local Mamas for Obama rally that will take place on the Saturday before the election. No set details other than that yet, I will keep you all posted.
Today the kids and I went down to the Utah Obama HQ to help with the neighborhood canvas. The goal was to go door to door and ask who the person was supporting, and see if they would like to help out with the Obama campaign by volunteering, dontating, etc.
Although many people were not home, we had the opportunity to speak with several members of the community who support Obama for president (and a couple who don't). It was really great to be involved and teach the children how important it is and how everyone can make a difference.
I plan to do as much as I can to help, and I am beyond excited to see Obama/Biden win the election on November 4th.
The Obama campaign has asked that his supporters not contact the super-delegates directly as the campaign's working on each of them and it would be counterproductive to overwhelm them with emails, phone calls and letters from Obama supporters. Petitions also tend to be counterproductive because both elected and party officials see them in less than a positive light.
So I would strongly urge you and all of Obama supporters to avoid calling, emailing or writing Utah 's super-delegates because it will have negative repercussions on the campaign's chance of persuading Utah 's super-delegates to support Obama.

Does anybody else have any ideas?
Tradesports.comSportsbook.com
Does anyone know if or how we could utilized these site to improve Obamas odds? I think if the odds are more in his favor it will generate more support from people who may be on the fence.
Also, does anyone know how to tell the odds in Tradesports? I don't have the patience to figure it out.
I've been doing some searching and I've seen Obamas odds go from 10-1 to 5-1 to 3-1. Hillary has 2-1 or 4-5 odds and is expected to win the nomination according to Tradesports.com
There are also some interesting articles about Hillary on gambling911.com check it out.
Any clever ideas out there?
Thanks!
I have no idea if this actually works but I guess it's worth a try... Also, I would rather ask nicely instead of demanding but oh well.
