Yes, it's true: Hillary is exploiting the Monica Lewinsky affair to garner political gain among women. In a segment of the Tyra Banks Show, she claims her love for Bill NEVER waivered, and when women come up to her and ask, "what should I do?" when in a similar situation, she responds...

"...I tell them "no one story is the same. I have no idea what your reality is. You have to be true to yourself".

Since the New Hampshire primary election, she's trying so HARD to appear human, while Bill is the "bad cop".

She's so intent on appearring "human", she's beginning to look preened and canned again. We've grown so accustomed to it, no longer does it make political hay, thank god!

Another SET of endorsements today for Barack, these from Senator Leahy(D-VT) AND Rep. Peter Welch(D-VT)!

For his part, Leahy averred that "I believe that the next president has to reintroduce America to the rest of the world... in some ways has to reintroduce our country to ourselves," said Leahy. "I believe (Obama) can do that. I feel strongly that way. I'm not making the endorsement as being opposed to anybody else, but I've thought about this long and hard, and I feel he is the one who do it the best."

This Weekend: Packers Vs. Giants (Hillary's Home State Team)

I can't help but turn this weekend's contest between the Packers and the Giants into a metaphor for the race between Barack and Hillary. The Giants are a machine with a well-funded operation, that is known for dirty tricks behind the scens and after the whistle.

I have drafted a "body" for a letter we can send to our statewide Representatives, both in the Senate and Congress, in an effort to get them to endorse Barack Obama.

"..The suit. By now most everyone expects that the judge will not take action and the damage to the credibility of the process will be minimal. Still, its left people pretty angry, and yesterday one officer of the Clark County executive board resigned in protest of the board's support for the suit. The more immediate effect, of discouraging people from attending, may have been done -- I've heard from several casino workers that the rumor in the breakrooms is that the at-large precincts, or even the entire caucus, is going to be cancelled. ..Point being, its hard to put the genie back in the bottle and say its all going smoothly.

Third, the turnout enigma. (factor to supress turnout)One is that this winter has been a weak one for the resort industry (ie, casinos and hotels) so that many of those who work based on tips (bartenders, waiters, dealers) may not be eager to sign out for an entire shift or even part of a meal-time shift during a holiday weekend. One person I know who falls into this category, who has also been hearing lots of quiet in the breakroom about the caucus, suggested that it could well be that the management will be as numerous as the workers at these sites. I think thats very unlikely but it again suggests that there may be less enthusiasm among the rank & file than we've been led to believe.

Hillary had bi-lingual door lit dropped yesterday, which in my bi-lingual neighborhood can be useful in reaching Spanish language households, but can also alienate older white voters. Also, just got yet another Clinton voter ID call; this one from an AFSCME-funded phone bank in Indiana. Thats the third or fourth call center voter ID call for Clinton we've gotten in the last 48 hours. Perhaps a sign that she will be able to turn out her soft supporters.

If Obama is making similar efforts, I have to say that I don't see them in my neighborhood. I was asked today by an Edwards volunteer who had been in Iowa, if UNLV students would be likely to vote, clearly concerned about a repeat of the Iowa wave. But UNLV is a commuter school..IN other words,no "student vote" to speak of.

SHOULD WE BE CONCERNED??!! Please refute!!! Is this guy right?

When I first started taking a serious look at Barack Obama as a potential candidate that I could support for the Democratic Presidential Nomination , I noticed that I agreed with his approach on a lot of the issues we both care about. But there was something else that struck me about him and it's what fuels my , as some rival supporters call it, "cultist-like" defense and dedication to this man . There was something eerily familiar and comforting about his personality that drew me to him.

Hillary Was AGAINST the Civil Rights aCT

A March 12, 2007 article written by acclaimed Washington columnist Robert Novak sheds a very revealing light on the true sentiment of Hillary Clinton during the peak of the Civil Rights Movement. Clinton recently was found to have minimized the great and monumental strides taken by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by stating that it was Lyndon B. Johnson, then president, who should receive the credit for the civil rights progress including the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

The fact is, in 1963, not only was Hillary Clinton a republican, but she was also a staunch supporter of republican Senator Barry Goldwater, well known as a segregationist and one of the most vocal senators adamently against the passing of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which is why he lost in his presidential bid to Lyndon B. Johnson. Novak writes "...how then could she be a 'Goldwater Girl' in the next year's presidential election?" He continues, "...she described herself in her memoirs as 'an active Young Republican' and 'a Goldwater girl, right down to my cowgirl outfit.'

While Clinton was re-inventing her past, her road to the White House is not going as planned. Instead of a steady procession to coronation at the Denver convention, she is involved in a real struggle against credible opponents led by Obama. No wonder she and her handlers were tempted to imply the existence long ago of a young lady in Chicago's suburbs who never really existed."

Reports have stated that information in her 'secret thesis' could be the 'Swift Boat' ammo to be used by the Republican Party against her should she become the nominee. (read more about 'secret thesis' at MSNBC).

Hi Folks! Let's ALL hope the Green Bay Packers win this Sunday in a rebuke of NY...HRC's state! I am disturbed at the tenor of the conversation this morning. We need, as a local and national campaign , to strongly change the dialogue form race to unity, and ISSUES.

By even participating, we are getting mud on ourselves and appearing to be part of the "old politics" we all want to usurp. Please..in your efforts HERE and elsewhere, forget about the finger-pointing and blame-gaming over the race comments. It only helps HRC (the NY Giant lover!).

Don't Give Up

I'm hearing that some of us are feeling under siege by the volley of negative attacks. Don't give up. We knew this was coming, and the reason this is coming is because the Clinton campaign is scared.

We are in this game to win it, and I think that Barack's statement on Meet the Press today showed that he has the capacity to lead us through controversy and crisis.

The attacks will continue, and this is to be expected. In battle, foes don't die quietly, they kick and scream.

This is the time for focus:

1. Make your phone calls
2. Leave comments in news sections.
3. Continue to spread the news about Obama's stand on the issues.

And always, always spread the TRUTH!

What we have now that we didn't have in the 1990s is the Internet and the ability to provide a different perspective to conventional media spin. The Clinton campaign depends on a control of information, our depends on truth.

My Letter to the Editor

Barack Obama has outlined the fundamental choice in this race: He believes that the catastrophic failure of the Bush years has led us to a moment where it's not just Democrats who are listening to what we have to say, but Independents and Republicans. That's why this election is a chance to turn the page by offering the American people a fundamentally different choice in 2008 - not just in policies, but in leadership style.

The other top candidate in this race has run what Washington would call a "textbook" campaign. But the problem is the textbook itself. It's a textbook that's all about winning elections, but says nothing about how to bring the country together to solve problems. It encourages vague, calculated answers to suit the politics of the moment, instead of clear, consistent principles about how to lead America. It teaches you that you can promise progress for everyday people while striking a bargain with the very special interests who crowd them out.

When Barack Obama is the Democratic nominee, his Republican opponent won't be able to say that he was for the war in Iraq before he was against it; or that he supported an extension of the Iraq war into Iran; or that he supports the Bush-Cheney diplomacy of not talking to leaders we don't like. And his Republican opponent won't be able to say that he flip-flopped on something as fundamental as whether our nation should use torture because his answer has been clear from day one - never.

Barack Obama is in this race because he doesn't want to see us spend the next year re-fighting the Washington battles of the 1990s. He doesn't want to pit Blue America against Red America, he wants to lead a United States of America. He doesn't want this election to be about the past, because if it's about the future, we all win. If this election is about whether or not to end this war, or pass universal health care, or make college more affordable, it won't just be a Democratic victory; it will be an American victory.

If you have time to drop a note to Tim Russert and Meet the Press you might want to ask them why their "Meet the Candidate" series which was designed to allow each candidate an opportunity for a full hour of coverage has now invited Senator Clinton back for a 2nd hour? And if they are going to allow all of the other candidates the same opportunity for a 2nd full hour on the show.

Notice Clinton already had her hour in September and is now getting her 2nd hour today.
