It has been a long time since I blogged the MYBO. I had a serious illness that I just recently recovered from. It's all good now but was scary for a while.
I am seeking re-election to my City Council seat in McKeesport. I hope to continue to share Barack's message of hope and positive change to the city I love.

All I got to say is that Obama has to be real carefull I feel that there are very evil people out there and if he tries to take away there money they will try to get rid of him. They may try to drum up some kind of stupid charges or even worse. I honestly believe they allowed him to be president just to satisfy our needs. So that they can keep our attention off of whats really going on and for all we know Obama, Clinton and the whole bunch may already be apart of the grand plan. And for those of you who haven't figured it out yet the biggest transfer of wealth went on right in front of our eyes while we were watching Obama they raised the price of a barrell of oil to 150.00 dollars and spent trillions of dolllars. Foriegn companies gave suit cases of money to people in our goverment for u.s. contracts. Our most secret plans and weapons are already in the hands of our enemies. Our banking system is the most corrupt in the world we are spending money we don't even have wait till the Chinees and the Japanees find out that we couldn't pay them back even if we wanted to. Lets just say they think were on the up and up and they really think we can pay them back and then something happens and they want there money and there is none. Then what? WORLD WAR (3). AND OUT THE WAR COMES THE NEW WORLD ORDER A ONE WORLD ONE GOVERMENT WORLD. But at the end of it all untill we get rid of greed and we fix the hunger problem we will always have problems. When you really think about it all you need is love and if the people of this crazy world could come together and take care of each other so that all men no matter what color there skin is could have a home a means for feeding there families. When you really think about it why do we need borders why do we care about what we look like we are all Gods children no matter what you call him whether you believe in religion or mother nature it doesn't really matter does it. We got to get rid of money it is the root of all evil.

Federal courts in Pennsylvania have dismissed Berg's lawsuit. Federal courts in Ohio and Washington state have rejected similar lawsuits. Allegations raised on the Internet say the birth certificate, showing that Obama was born in Hawaii on Aug. 4, 1961, is a fake. But state officials in Hawaii say they checked health department records and have determined there's no doubt Obama was born in Hawaii. I'm sorry if you think that I am paranoid but I just don't trust the goverment.
I personally think that the bank failures, the recession and especially the oil prices were all fake and brought on by a bunch of greedy people who care absolutly nothing about us poorer people they figure every once in a while if they throw us a bone it will keep us satisfied.
My hopes are that Barack Obama can see through these people and if he keeps his promises and starts from the bottom up then we will know that he is on our side but if he goes back back to the same old thing we will know that they got to him. By they I mean the people with the money and power to actually move and shake the world people like (the Rockefellers,rothchilds and other people who are in control of the most powerful companies of the world like bill gates and warren buffet and even the pope yes these are the same people who send hundreds of lobbiest to the white house every year. Barack Obama is a uniter and thats just what we need because if this recession turns into a depression the poor will eat the rich and the rich won't be hard to find because they will be the only peoplE with the lights still on. All I am asking is that we all keep our guards up and stand behind our newly elected PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA!!!

I just want to tell my young and old friends on here that I have thoroughly enjoyed the friendships that I have made as an Obama supporter. I have looked forward to coming home from teaching school and reading some of the research that followers have done and blogging on blogs in support of Obama. Never, in my life have I ever been so excited about a political campaign. This campaign has touched my life. Today, I wear my Obama shirt, and button. My daughter put on hers. The Obama sign is in my front door. We don't know who the winner is yet. But, there is this great hope and the T.V. reporting sounds positive.
I will miss all of the e-mails but, it is nice to see all of the adds come to an end and maybe I can turn my answering machine back on after those robo calls. I will never forget the friends I met standing in line waiting to see Obama in person and those who have blogged with me. It has been a long campaign.
I hope we can continue to support each other and him during his Presidency! "Yes We Can"! I am so happy I cast my vote for him and I can't wait to put all the victory music on! Can't wait to see those "little ones" running around in the White House. I hope Michelle has a few more little Obama's running around. Hey, I'm a teacher keep me in business!

I voted early today in West Virginia. It was a touch screen and I know that there have been reports of switching of votes. I did not have any problems and neither did my husband. No vote switching and there is a paper trail inside the machine so you can view the vote you just made.
I felt such pride in voting for Barack today and I can barely imagine the thrill it will be to see him when he is inagurated on 1/21/08.
BTW, while I was voting the woman at the voting site was asked how the early voting was going and she told this man that as of today there were 638 early voters, which is the total of all voters in the primary election. I live in a small county in WV so this is very good news, I hope, for Barack.

Annenberg says a close look at the record reveals that Obama has "voted consistently to restore higher tax rates on upper-income taxpayers but not on middle- or low-income workers."
Verdict:Misleading. McCain's summary ignores the fact that some of the votes were for measures to lower taxes for many Americans, while increasing them for a much smaller number of taxpayers. A nonpartisan examination also finds that the 94 total includes multiple votes on the same measures and budget votes that would not directly lead to higher taxes.

Well here we are, were at that point in the election where all the republicans get really nasty. They already gave in, they realize that they can't win so now comes the smear part of the campaign. Remember the last two elections. Thats the only way that bush won remeber the chads. I SWEAR IF OHIO AND FLORIDA DON'T VOTE FOR OBAMA THEY DESERVE WHAT THEY GET!!!!
Remember the nineties , was fun wasn't it. Well that was when we had Bill Clinton a Democrat was President. I really hope that Ohio, Virginia and Pennsylvainia come through and vote for Obama. Ohio if you want any chance at things getting better your only hope is Obama because he wants to work from the bottom up and thats the only way the ecomony is ever going to work. For 30 more days we will have to combat slurs and slander against Obama. I wear my button to teach school everyday. They will throw everything at us these last days. Biden did terrific in the debates. Palin came off as America's sweetheart but, everyone knows she isn't ready to be a President and that will sway votes. I'm hoping WV will go for Obama. They held a mock election at my daughter's school and Obama won by a huge majority. I hope the election will hold a pleasant surpise and deliver WV into the Obama column.
Anyway, no letting up. I want to wish Senator Obama much luck in the upcoming debates. They will become more and more important as the days go by. I also want to tell him to talk about his wife, his children. Tell the country more about special times with them and lessons learned. The V.P. debate showed one thing. The one part that made Biden human was the part he shared that was the most difficult for him. They keep showing that clip over and over. He identified with the people on a personal note.
Maybe, Obama should share some of the sadness he has felt during this campaign. How he has had to turn his back on people who were in his life. How he has had to combat things that were untrue. He needs to share how much he wants to be President. The economy being down makes all of us relate to each other in different ways. I wish him all that he desires. I can't imagine a man more deserving of being our President. I still love the speech he delivered in Virginia in the rain. He was standing there soaked to the gills sharing his feelings. People were listening as wet as he was. In the rain the outside melts away and all you can see is the inside. If you watch that speech you hear him joking with Biden, you see him stop right in the middle of his speech and take his jacket off. Fighting the rain but, delivering the message.

The local NBC affiliate in Huntington, WV has a headline : VP Candidate Biden Says No to Coal Plants in U.S. The people here were starting to get used to the idea of voting for Obama, the local union UMWA staged a walk out to protest the NRA false claims about his gun stance! So I was hopeful that Obama would at least get a few votes. THIS ONE HEADLINE will give everyone of those on the fence or grudgingly going Obama the excuse they needed to vote McCain. With all the "I heart coal" bumper stickers, etc. this will be the end. UNLESS there is swift action, not just from spokespeople, but from the candidate, to ease their minds about the #$% coal industry. The article is complete with response from the Republican representative from the area.
This off-the-cuff one line is a game changer here in the coal fields. It is time to stand up and actually try to win WV or let those working so hard to do it FOR them give it up.
