I think that it is important that I declare a few truths that cannot be denied, so that all who read this can be enlightened about the correct path to true stability. In order to live forever, there needs to be a circle, where the distance between itself (the center) to the ends in which it is established (outer point). To be central, legislation that is necessary and proper, must be equally in effect and obligations to all members. No member should be favored over others.
(Say What?)
The laws of Government should affect the members of that Government equally, and only for the purpose of establishment. If a Government is to Govern conduct between it's members, and uphold the laws equally upon each, as well as those rights that exist in the absence of government. It is the duty of the United States to govern the Conduct between the states, provide for their common defense, and maintain Justice between each. All of which can only be enforced upon members by way of law to acheive the intended end, as long as such an act does not exceed the means to the end.
The Government of the States (The United States) has blurred the perception of the Constitution, which is in effect the "Creator" of that government. It is blurred to take powers never granted during its own establishment from the Government of the People (The State) which has it's own "Creator" it is obliged to observe, and restrict its laws for the purpose in which the existance is necessary. The "God" of one, is not the "God" of the other. They both have members in which they are established to govern, but the governed are exclusively so governed and cannot be within the jurisdiction of the other. A sovereign state must exist before it can be a part of the United States. The sovereignty of the United States relies on the sovereignty found in the state in a related proportion, as is the case with a state.
The political body must always protect the constitution so the principles are maintained and not altered. As the Constitution fixes the Principles, and amendments should only fix any deviations that might come into existance and harmful to liberty, and more. (See Preamble)How a person thinks, believes, or conducts himself away from the public cannot be the objects of state legislation, but how a person conducts himself with all other persons equally, as long as they contain some form of retribution that is necessary for those acts, should they be found guilty.
How a state enacts policies related to the Government of the People cannot be the objects of Federal Legislative Powers. States are direct members of the Union, and the intended target to be governed. Those conducting business with another state (or modernized, persons in another state other than their own) are bound to respect laws relating to conduct as well as State laws in personal or indvidual affairs.
Those laws that are passed must be passed by the two interests affected by the legislation. (Laws relating to race have historically targetted the difference between "white" and "black". If there is no legislative bodies that represents these two groups seperately, then such laws are Unconstitutional, as they do not have their own house under the legislative branch that must have the ability to veto any proposal. There are benefits to an existance of gay persons in the world, because their taxes pay help pay for a part of the education your kids will receive. In order for tax to be Constitutional, the use of such a tax must support the purpose of the Government, as well as result in equal propotions to all states, whose members benefit from Justice maintained between each state.
The word of "God" is Supreme over all others, as is the same with the Constitution that establishes a government. In order to evolve into a better species of Government (People as a whole), they must first treat the space that divides them equally to all, regardless to how small or large, good or bad, respectful or otherwise... The only conduct that should be punishable by law is conduct that infringes on the rights of another. The laws relating to restricting conduct based upon distinct qualities shared by any number less than all should have no place in legislation originating from a government based on the principles of liberty.
Slavery is found in a number of ways, and economic slavery is one of the worst kind to every find a place in this government. The great pyramids in Eqypt being the oldest man made structures in existance gives strength to the concept that exists in nature, and if a global existance is to prevail, it must be based upon the same principles behind fractal art. (geometry) Day should be respected equally to night. Summer to Winter, Spring to Fall. Regardless of preferences that exists, seasons exists, so there is no use in making laws enforcing temperate climates, as they will not likely have an effect.
It seems as if all of what I keep trying to explain is complicated, but there is no simpler truth that exists in nature. Rather than ignore the word of God (that which exists in nature, not claimed by religeous establishements) embrace it, and let those principles guide your judgement, and the judgement of those who will Constitute your administration. My thoughts tend to work much faster than I can ever hope to type, so my apologies if this post has a few grammatical errors.
Thank You for taking the time to associate the circle of life in relation to any existance that should be everlasting.
The full Democratic Caucus is set to vote on Joe Lieberman's Chairmanship of the Homeland Security Committee next week. Write to your Senators, or call them, today!
Here's what I sent to WA Senators Murray and Cantwell today:
Dear Senator Murray: First, thank you for visiting our Canvassing Kickoff with Howard Dean and Governor Gregoire on the Saturday before the Election!
I am writing, as a constituent from West Seattle, to beg you on bended knee to vote to remove Senator Joe Lieberman (Joe Lieberman for Joe Lieberman party, CT) from his chairmanship of the Homeland Security committee when the Democratic Caucus convenes next week to vote on this issue. While I'm sure you're receiving plenty of emails, letters, and phone calls from constituents urging Sen. Lieberman's ouster from his committee Chair assignment for more partisan reasons (and his broken promise that he would support Senator McCain's candidacy, but refrain from attacking Senator Obama, is certainly a breach of faith with the Party, the Caucus, and his own word), there's something just as important to consider, if not more so:
Joe Lieberman has been incredibly ineffectual in his role as chair of the Homeland Security committee - particularly when it comes to the role he, and the committee, were supposed to play in standing up to the shameful actions of the Bush White House during these past years. Unlike its much more effective and active counterpart in the House, the Committee, under Joe Lieberman, failed to challenge the Bush Administration on its failures and offenses on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the "war on terror", torture, Hurricane Katrina, and a host of other issues the Committee was charged to oversee and investigate. It could be argued that Joe Lieberman's inaction as head of the Committee enabled and shielded a whole laundry list of failures of the Bush Administration, resulting in countless wasted tax dollars - and lives.
But there's ample reason to be suspicious, given his past behavior patterns, that an embarrassed, embittered Joe Lieberman may abuse his Chairmanship to "go after" the Obama Administration in a way he abjectly failed to do under the Bush Administration.
While Joe Lieberman's personal and political conduct during the Presidential election of 2008 (and his campaigning in support of other Republican candidates to the House and Senate in the recent past) are shameful enough, it's his dereliction of duty, lack of leadership, and failure to fulfill his role as chair of his Committee that should be the primary rationale for stripping him of his Committee assignment.
Let Joe Lieberman continue to caucus with the Democrats if he so chooses. Offer him Chairmanship of a different Committee - something that Mr. "Agreed with us on everything but the War" can be trusted with. But he's been an embarrassingly ineffective Chair of the Homeland Security Committee, and has failed at his duties in that role.
It's time to give someone else a chance to do a better job. If I dared to exhibit such lackluster performance and failure at my job, I would have been fired a long time ago.
Please vote to strip Joe Lieberman of his Committee Chair assignment.

Imagine that you suddenly break out in a rash all over your face... big, giant, red bumps. And your ears start ringing. And you see double. Imagine, then, that you rush to the nearest hospital emergency room. The triage nurse looks you over, takes your temperature and announces that “since you’re not running a fever, there’s nothing seriously wrong.” You’re told to go home and return only if you develop a fever.
What would you do? Me... I’d go to another emergency room, or insist on seeing another nurse or doctor. Why? Because the body is a complex tangle of electrical, chemical, and physiological systems and I know that a fever isn’t the only sign that something’s gone terribly wrong. And since I, who didn’t attend any medical school, know this to be true, I wouldn’t put my trust in any “medical professional” who didn’t share that basic understanding.
For decades there have been economic theorists like Hazel Henderson who have been telling us that using GNP and the condition of the stock market as the measure of our nation’s economic health was inaccurate, incomplete, and could have disastrous results. Well, lo and behold, here we are. By the time our economic illness reflected a Wall Street fever, the rest of the body had been pretty well ravaged and now may not have the strength to fully recover.
Returning to the medical analogy: I also know that a fever is just a symptom and reducing a fever won’t necessarily fix what ails me. That rash won’t go away with aspirin. Anyone who watches “House” knows that the correct diagnosis has to explain all the symptoms, not just mask them. So any solution that is built on just one symptom is bound to fail. The collapse of Wall Street and the banking system is just one symptom. Fixing it may bring temporary relief, but the underlying disease will inevitably reassert itself. Throwing $700B at the fever and expecting it to be “the fix” while the rest of the body rages with disease won’t save us.
Barack Obama and John McCain need to throw out their pool of economic theorists and find others, like Hazel Henderson, who bring a more holistic view of the economy based on multiple, realistic measures (e.g. the true number of unemployed workers vs. the number of workers receiving unemployment benefits). And the rest of us need to jump up and down, scream and yell, harass the heck out of our senators and congressional representatives and do whatever it takes to make them do it.
We have been operating on the wrong theory of the economy. Now, before the patient dies, is a perfect opportunity to start over.
I can't say I'm surprised.... Seattle LOVES Obama!

By the way, this is a MODERATE to CONSERVATIVE newspaper, by Seattle standards....
(CBS) In a sign that John McCain's convention bounce has dissipated, Barack Obama has taken a 48 percent to 43 percent lead over his Republican rival among registered voters in the latest CBS News/New York Times poll.

In the last couple days I've come across three separate columnists jumping from the McCain ship:

Seems McCain has a lot more to lose by lying than anyone thought.

Subject: can someone tell me...?
Please pass along to your networks. I'm hopeful that someone must have an answer to this question that my 12 years of college (including a major in theology, though that was admittedly 30+ years ago) haven't prepared me to answer.
Here's the question: How do Sarah Palin and any other fundamentalist women reconcile their lives and a literal interpretation of their Bible with the following statement attributed to Saint Paul from I Timothy 2:8-15 (King James version):
[8] I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
[9] In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
[10] But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
[11] Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
[12] But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
[13] For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
[14] And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
[15] Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
It seems to me if you make the argument that this is a historically contextualized statement and not applicable to modern life, you've just denied that the Christian Bible can be only interpreted literally. If this one passage can't be interpreted literally, then what else in the Bible requires a historical contextualization? If people who demand literalism go down that road, they've just agreed that the Bible can't be interpreted literally. And they're no longer fundamentalists. It's an exercise in logic that I just can't reconcile.
So I'm open to any and all other explanations. People can answer to the address below if they have an answer. I'm hopeful that by sending this out to my networks and having people send to their networks, eventually someone will send me an answer that makes sense. If I get interesting answers, I'll compile them and e-mail them out to this same list of initial recipients.
Today I am seeing and hearing a lot of reaction about how Sarah Palin has brought a big jump of women voters over to the McCain side. My feeling is that a reaction is exactly what this is. In another 3 weeks these numbers will have evened back out and some other issue will be pushing voters to one side or another. My hope is that more of the truth about the investigation into Palin's abuse of power in Alaska will be that issue and it will throw voters back over to us. On this point, I would just like to say that we as Obama supporters need to make sure that everyone knows about this investigation and that it doesn't get pushed under the rug by the McCain Camp. I plan on using their reasoning and asking the question, if she didn't do anything wrong, then why not let it go forward and have her be vindicated? We all know the answer to that question don't we.
Now, more importantly, I have to admit that through my complete support of Barack Obama, I have neglected supporting a very important cause that goes hand and hand with this election. The preservation of Roe V Wade. I think we all need to be very cognizant that the right wing could very well make this an issue like gay marriage in 2004 that plays on people's moral values and I don't think we can ignore it. Barack Obama has been clear that he supports a women's legal right to choose, but I think if he is going to clearly get votes based on this issue he must also make it a moral issue. He must remind people why abortion was legalized in the first place. Women of all ages will continue to get abortions even when they are illegal in very unsanitary and unethical places where the lives of both the women and unborn children will be jeopardized. This isn't a made up story, this is what happened in the 1970's. Many of us are too young to remember this, but we cannot be afraid to talk about it. Legalized abortion does not promote abortions, it only allows women options in what may be a very difficult time.
Even republican men and women have to think about the possibility that one of their daughters (Sarah Palin) could get pregnant at a young age for whatever reason. Firstly, would they want their daughters to be forced to carry that baby to term? And what if their daughter rebelled against them and had to go to some dentist's office or some back alley to get an abortion. How would they feel about that?
The other very important thing to remember is what has the republican party done for social services in this country? If all of these women that currently terminate their pregnancies start carrying to term, there are going to be a lot more unwanted babies in the foster care system. Has the Bush Administration done anything to improve these services so that women giving their children up for adoption wouldn't have to worry about that child's well-being once it's born? I know all of us have heard countless heart wretching stories about children being abused, beaten or killed either in foster care or because they were returned to their drug addicted parents. Will John McCain and Sarah Palin put forth legislation to provide care for all of the babies that nobody adopts? These are real questions and I would like McCain and Palin to have to be pushed on these questions and be made to feel uncomfortable because they won't have the right answers.
I am asking Senator Obama to take the initiative on this very important issue and I think he will be rewarded for it! We cannot let John McCain get elected and turn out Supreme court over to the conservatives!!
I recently received an email from an Alaska resident who knows Sarah Palin's real political record. The email, which you can read for yourself below, reveals that:
and much more. If the media doesn't start questioning her about this, then local organizers need to find ways to get the info out there.
Because the author of the email is concerned for his/her own safety and asked not to be identified, I've eliminated anything that would identify them. They are, however, respected individuals who have made significant contributions to their own community. Click Read More, below, to read the entire email.
I received the email below from my friend Meg Riley who lives in Minneapolis/St. Paul. Brought back very ugly memories of Seattle's police brutality during WTO in '99. Am still mystified how it is that fully armored and armed people can feel threatened enough to brutalize unarmed grandmas and parents with strollers.
--------------------------------
Well, the RNC is wrapping up tonight and thank God they are finally leaving town. I want to shout from the rooftops that I have been living in a police state for the last five days. Hundreds of peaceful protestors have been maced, tasered, and are still in jail days later. As usual most of them are young, people of color, poor, queer, and otherwise vulnerable folks. Also a number of journalists. It is, thanks to the Patriot Act, now an arrestable offense to *document* police doing 'anti-terrorism' work. Also legal observers, minors, and St. Paul residents who were in the wrong place at the wrong time are in jail. Medical treatment is not forthcoming for those who were tasered. One 13 year old was sentenced to a month in an adult facility. The (elected Republican) sherriff in Ramsey County has been especially horrible but so have the St. Paul, Minneapolis, and surrounding area police. The national guard and others have also come in. Folks who are veterans of the NAFTA protests, etc., say that this is the worst they've ever seen. Independent media headquarters have been raided twice now, with computers and cameras seized. The front page of the paper today explained that the (Democratic) St. Paul mayor demanded, as part of bringing the RNC here, that the RNC finance 10 million dollars worth of insurance for wrongful arrest lawsuits, medical expenses, and damages. They will probably need most of it and to my knowledge virtually none because of damages from protestors. You may have seen recently that the protestors from the last RNC in New York City just won several million dollars in lawsuits for wrongful arrests.I am telling you this because these stories are not being told. I urge you to go to the independent media of your choice to learn more. I recommend Amy Goodman and www.DemocracyNow.org ; Amy and two other Democracy Now journalists were among those arrested. You can also witness her arrest on YouTube. Here in MN, there's a great website called the Twin Cities Daily Planet that features many independent bloggers, etc. But get info from your favorite reliable sources and then write to the newspaper in your town and demand some coverage of this. At least here in the Twin Cities, the coverage is all featuring the sherriff explaining how well his folks are doing, protecting the innocent protestors who must have been terrified by the violent criminals who came to town to wreak havoc. No, sir, we're all terrified of YOU.Despite news coverage to the contrary, I'm not sure if there really have been instances of "out of control anarchists" because every case I know of is ludicrous and fabricated. There are always a few, some infiltrators and some just idiots, but honestly I have not seen any protestors be violent. (Stupid, yes, insolent, yes, obnoxious, yes...but none of those are crimes!) On the other hand, I have avoided the largest events. I don't even like the crowds at Renaissance Faires and no one there has riot gear, mace, bean bag bazookas, tasers, horses, hoses, etc.I am talking to friends here about somehow cleansing the city. St. Paul, a lovely river town, feels spiritually horrid now. Murdered. The hatefulness of the delegates and speakers at the RNC pale beside the brute violence of the police. I truly feel that I have now seen a police state up close, complete with doublespeak and blatant lies from law enforcers. It is a crummy feeling to live here and not know how to have any impact in the machinary that is solidly in place. Keep in mind that we're in a progressive state here, with Democratic mayors in both St. Paul and Minneapolis, Democratic control of the house and senate...and then there's our Republican governor, Tim Pawlentey, most famous recently for being rejected as McCain's VP.I should say that it has been wonderfully amazing to have so many incredible, brave, creative, smart activists in my hometown to protest. The actions taken have been thought-provoking, funny, beautiful, and deeply moving. Probably the most moving for me was that I accompanied about 100 Iraq War Veterans and parents of dead soldiers in a small, quiet, early morning march to give the McCain folks a list of demands for soldiers after they return from war...basic things like counselling and support for PTSD. The stories told there were absolutely amazing, of the lack of support which greets vets upon their return. (I don't mean lack of support from evil anti-war lefties, but from those troop-adoring Republicans. The Disabled Veterans group gave John McCain a D in his votes on supporting vets services, and Barack Obama a B plus.) Those of you who know that I spent part of my summer organizing actions here in the Twin Cities for a Gulf Coast friend's FEMA trailer that was on its way here for the RNC will be disappointed, as I was, that this trip was cancelled due to Gustav. Given Gustav, we could have had stunning media impact. But that's water under the bridge...and thank God not over the levees.Anyway, I urge you to please speak up from wherever you have a voice, about how unacceptable this police violence is. Right now the silence is deafening.Love,Meg
Secretary of State Sam Reed brags about removing 400,000 names from the voting records. I did some checking and I'm uneasy about the figures I found.
The Washington State Voter Registration Database was launched in January 2006, as required by the Help America Voter Act.
On this page: http://www.secstate.wa.gov/elections/vrdb/VRDBFaq.aspxthere is a graphic showing voter registration database transactionsThe first two categories can be disregarded because they fluctuate month-to-month depending on voter activity. However the next three are stable and do not add up to 400,000
Canceled a duplicate registration 2006-July 2008 = 53,782Cancelled deceased voters 2006-July 2008 = 85,884Cancelled felon registrations 2006-July 2008 = 8,807Total = 148,433
Where are the other quarter million voters? Why aren't they accounted for in the numbers the Sec. of State tracks? What criteria were used to remove the voters?
Will poll voters be in for a rude surprise when they discover they aren't registered this November?
Is your name one of the quarter million names purged from the voter rolls without explanation?
Check here to make sure: http://wei.secstate.wa.gov/osos/VoterVault/Pages/VoterVaultDetails.aspxPass this information to your friends in WA State. Protecting our voter registration is the responsibility of each and every one of us.
Don't let a Republican Secretary of State steal this election. Vote for Jason Osgood this November. Let's get someone in that office who is computer savvy and dedicated to election integrity.
Amazing... the talking heads *still* don't get it. Republicans will make same mistake Clinton's made... it's not about Barack Obama... it's about *us*. WE want our country back.
Was so good to hear real Democractic party values espoused again after nearly 20 years of Dixiecrat gibberish.
Yes! We will!
Was anyone else suprised by the wonderful speech given by Joe Biden tonight? I mean, talk about flawless. It was heartfelt, moving, informative... I thought it was just perfect. Obama made a great choice. Joe is just plain lovable and inspiring.
I've been really impressed by the whole DNC. Really well put together. Great speakers. It's amazing how the folks who probably have never given a speech before are coming off so polished. I would be shaking in my boots!
I also really enjoyed Madeline Albright tonight. What an eloquent, articulate speaker! Talk about a woman to look up to.
I wish I could just shake Joe's hand and let him know how wonderfully he executed his speech tonight - but I am sure others will do that - and I hope he takes it to heart.
