Can you imagine donating two years of your life to a candidate -- then that candidate sends Aid to the place you live in for your program. As you live in that structure of life saying hey -- I was told this Help was here, but as the train left Washington DC to New Jersey. You had leaders stopping the train and taking what they need in a ring of corruption. That's what's going on in New Jersey with these leaders--the democratic party endorsed. They are going back and telling Obama's adminstration; We never heard of this guy, or this program. Yet, the benefited from the guidelines of the program. This is the reason why we have a corruption probe in New Jersey.View the AD and Documentary!

Obama's plan to address congress is needed, but it also smacks of desperation.
If this fails the it will be because he and the Democrats in congress augured this into the ground when they went into August without a coherent message on health care.
I still support Obama, but let's face facts. He's acting like a senator. We voted for a presdent. A president who can LEAD.

Hmm... a four-hour show: http://rss.nfowars.net/20090828_Fri_Alex.mp3. Take a listen to the first hour right: it's pretty important!

Just read this post a while ago: http://markcrispinmiller.com/2009/08/att-blocking-dissidents/ about a blogger who was denied access to certain sites during the 2004-2005 elections. Well then, the block was due to his ISP, AT&T, that required him to use an annonymous proxy to get to his sites.
Anyway, is there a pattern here? People like JFK Fan and Taz gets put down while hacker blogs take free reign of the Community Blogs. Strange blocks, take downs, and post blocking (blog posts that fail to show up) on the Community Blogs, and the final blow with the shut down of the Community Blogs, well, could this be a pattern to a complete Internet shutdown?! Like a Prison Planet?
Something to think about.

Well, if it Fitts, http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5455605137215634518.
Available @ YT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WB6p5QPVhPI. Apparently, this has a view of the U.S. from 50 years ago. Pay attention to the bubbles embedded into the vid.

Quite informative about money and monetary policy.
What do you think about this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUzd7G875Hc?
Please discuss!
This vid was one I found on a site called Deprogram.net. The vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BoA3wHi9iDE, is by a guy from the Center for Global Research known as Michel Chossudovsky. He argues that the current policies + TARP will eat up almost all of the US's GDP (which I've heard is more a service economy rather than a manufacturing economy).
What's your take on this vid after watching it?
Hmm...
In leiu of the Tax Day Tea Parties, as well as the MSM reaction, the Alternative Media reaction, and some politicians' reactions, what do you think about them?
I'm curious. However, feel free to put up any links from any source you like. Also, feel free to scrutenize whatever links you like with a logical argument.
I want an informed, educated discussion, with everyone listening to each other's point of view.
Keep it real, folks!

I wonder how we will work to pay it back.
From CNBC: http://www.cnbc.com/id/29880401. It's a slideshow of all the people, countries, and institutions holding the US debt. Take a look at it.
If we have a loan or credit card payment that has to be paid, how do we -- as individuals -- get the money to pay it back? What happens if we -- as individuals -- can't pay it back?
Now, what happens when the U.S. has to repay it, what could happen? How does the money to pay it back the debt earned? What if the debt cannot be paid back?
...
No, I'm serious! Dr. Ron Paul (I can't stop laughing!) said he can't buy a car because of uncertainty in the auto industry!
Found the YT link on the C4L site: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtAkYtV5eZA. Watch the whole thing, but the most interesting part of the vid occurs around 1:36 to 1:52:
...so the sooner they go into bankruptcy, the better! That's the proper procedure; it would've done it a year ago or whatever -- if these companies would have declared bankruptcy, the good assests would have been bought up, and I wouldn't be so hesitant in buying a new car, which I need, because now, I don't know what the car companines are going to do. [italics his, underlined italics mine, bold underlined italics mine to empahise the phrase which he used a slightly lower tone]
Even though the irony of Dr. Paul needs a car and can't buy one because he's unsure of the auto industry's long run and how the current financial policy is affecting him are funny, the current financial policies aren't something to laugh at. I'm getting nervous since the low of gasoline in my area was around $1.45/gal circa mid-November, it's now $1.96/gal. Maybe Peter Schiff has a point about hyperinflation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8HRRQ6JkCw.
Yeah, I could've made a few Deal or No Deal or The Price Is Right jokes, but I know that it took me about 14 mos in 2005-6 to buy the used car that I have, and I hated the fact that someone had to cosign the loan because I didn't carry credit cards at the time! (I don't like carrying them, or having to worry about the interest payments! Stupid credit "economy!") So, I can understand Dr. Paul's frustration in his car-buying decision! Maybe The Suze Orman Show could help, but I don't know if Dr. Paul needs that kind of financial advice, but it depends on how bad his old car is doing.
As I said, something's really weird when Dr. Paul can't buy a new car.
Until later,
Hello, President Obama.
The events of my life over the past six months have shown me the incredible parallels between my personal world and that of your journey to the White House and the path the United States is on today. I have moved through a personal crisis where life as I once knew it was utterly destroyed and I have had to rebuild my life from the ground up. There were days when I didn't see how I would be able to cope and didn't see how my life could possibly recover from such a devastating loss and blow. But day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute I have picked myself and my children up out of this mud and we've moved on, inch by inch toward the light of a new dawn. Today I can see the hope of better and brighter future. But getting to this moment has taken an inner strength and faith that I truly didn't know existed within me.
Over the past year, I have had to relearn everything I thought I knew about life and people, most importantly myself. When days became more frightening than I could bear, I thought about you, your campaign, and the work my children and I did with this great community to see the day when you would become our President. Working on your campaign during the summer of 2008 kept me alive while a part of my personal life was collapsing. The energy and hope that you brought into my world kept the embers of who I am going long enough to see me through the darkest moments of my life. And for this, I am eternally grateful to you.
God bless you, President Obama and your family. Thank you for the work and sacrifices you have made and continue to make on behalf of this country and people like me. You have changed my life in more ways than you will ever know.

S 604's status: No Cosponsors, read twice and referred to the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs.
HR 1207's status: 39 Cosponsors & referred to the House Committee on Financial Services.
(The FRS Accountability bill for those who are unaware!)
I know that a few people were interested on the status of GA HB 430, so here's an update.
Yeah, its from C4L, but it's worth a look.
Apparently, the bill is stuck in committee, and the committee chairs, Rep. Calvin Hill, Chairman of the Financial Institutions & Services Subcommittee, and Rep. Mike Coan, Chairman of the Regulations & Oversight Subcommittee, did not allow the bill to come up for discussion, though the article says that they promised to do so.
A petition is available for those interested: http://www.sicm.com/constitutionaltender/BillRequest-HB430.pdf.
That's all the info I have on the status of the bill.
