LET US NOT FALL ASLEEP YET. (WE NEED ALL HANDS ON DECK). REMEMBER PRESIDENT "OBAMA" DID NOT CREATE THE MESS THIS COUNTRY IS IN, "HE INHERITED IT" . NO MATTER WHAT HE DOES IT'S EITHER TO MUCH OR TO LITTLE. AS A GRASSROOT MOVEMENT WE NEED TO KEEP THEM HONEST. WE NEED TO KEEP HITTING THEM WITH THE FACTS, EVERYTIME THEY HIT US WITH A LIE. I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW UPSET I AM ABOUT THE "UN--INVITED" VISITORS THAT CRASH THE "WHITE HOUSE" THEY SHOULD BE PUT IN JAIL. WE NEED TO MAKE SURE THEY TAKE BETTER SECURITY MESSURES TO PROTECT OUR "PRESIDENT". THEY SEEM TO THINK THIS IS A JOKE. BELIEVE ME THIS IS SERIOUS. WE NEED A "PRESIDENT" WHO CAN MULTITASK, AND CREATE THE CHANGE WE SEEK. WE NEED TO STICK TO THE ISSUES. JOBS, HEALTHCARE. WAR, WHAT EVER IT TAKES TO MAKE THIS COUNTRY STRONG AGAIN. YOUR COMMUNITY NEEDS STRONG LEADERS "COMMUNITY ORGANIZERS" TO GUIDE THEM OUT OF THIS MESS. THIS IS A TIME TO PULL TOGETHER NOT PULL APART. SO AGAIN " ALL HANDS ON DECK"

checking in after a few months

Hello. Back to the Obama website. It is different now that We are no longer just campaigning for Obama. He is president now. I will say that I am saddened by the loss of my father who taught me so much and was my biggest fan and was not jealous or envious except maybe when I called him from the oceans edge and talked about the sea or sand or something similar.

There are unanswered questions around his death and this ties directly into the issue of the health care crisis in the united states and around the world. My story has to do with unethical behavior by "authority figures" who in my opinion should not have done what they did. I was on my dads health care proxy as i was next of kin and yes, it is true Daddys little girl. We were emotionally very close in the last days of his life. He was in a nursing home and was available frequently by phone. For that I am grateful to the health facility. But whatever happened in the three months leading up to november 18, 2008 i do not condone. I was leftout of the process. My dad was not responding by the time i reached his bedside. I still dont understand. But I know one thing for sure is that i was treated very poorly by people in charge and my civil rights were violated. Since his death I have found a picture of him in his army uniform. He was a veteran and served overseas sometime between 1956 and 1959. He is carrying a riffle. I heard he was a clerk. I believe in justice through peaceful means. I love history and I love the truth and I love standing up for justice. " As Obama said something to the effect of "if you stand up for justice you are on the right side of history."

And I am grateful for a note from Michelle (yes mass mailing) but i can still be grateful which inspired me to log back into this website, now called "Organizing for America." I hope we can remember to be fair, not to exclude people and to keep our eye on the goal and not get too caught up in trivial personal conflicts and character differences. Thank you. Nicolle Ward and thank you to my father for loving me the best he could and writing me all those letter when i was in Kenya during my junior year abroad. I know how proud you were that i went to Kenya. I remember one of the last things you said to me over the phone while i was still in los angeles "I am glad you have taken an interest in politics."
