Please call your Senate and House representatives and ask them to push for the above.
I think we should hold public protests. Please let me know what you think.

For the last two weekends, we will be coordinating caravans of 500-600 Latino activists from California to Reno Nevada to ensure massive voter turnout for Obama. Here’s how YOU can help: GO TO NEVADA and pass along the sign up link specifically for volunteers from Northern California, we will fill out the official campaign web form, but in order to ensure we have the data easily accessible, if you have previously signed up for Nevada via the Obama website we are asking that you please provide your information on the link below.

Okay here's the info about last week's 125 calls to Ohio:
After 750 total calls to Ohio on behalf of Barack, here is my total call breakdown:
Calling 125 Ohioans each week for the last 5 weeks has been tough. Most folks don't answer the phone - so most of the time I'm leaving messages - and when people do answer, they want to get the call over with as quick as possible.
I do think the calls are worthwhile though, because whether I leave a message or talk to someone, they are at least hearing Obama's name from another human instead of an advertisement or media outlet. So I have to assume this gets them thinking about him and the campaign, and that's about all I can do via phone. If they are thinking about Obama and considering his campaign then I am happy and consider it a success.
Until next time... GO O!
Here's the breakdown on this week's 125 calls to Ohio:
After 500 total calls to Ohio on behalf of Barack, here is my total call breakdown:
Okay, I've now made 375 calls to Ohio, or 125 calls per week. Out of 375 calls I've made to Ohio, I spoke with the listed voter 42 times. That means that on the other 333 calls, I did not speak to a human being or I spoke with someone other than the listed voter.
Here are some statistics and thoughts from the 333 calls I've made to Ohio where I have NOT talked to the listed voter:
And here are the statistics from the 42 calls where I DID speak to the listed voter:
This is too small of a sample size to draw any real conclusions, however, the people I have spoke to have generally been receptive and willing to at least check out Barack's website.
SO.... as you can tell, for the most part (89% of the time) I have not spoken to the listed voter. But, to me, that is neither disappointing nor unimportant, because updating the caller database with wrong numbers is vital, and leaving messages - even if the person hangs up immediately - still gets Barack's name out there. Anyways, more calls, more numbers, and more thoughts next week.
So I made my 125 calls to Ohio this week and here's the breakdown:
For this weekend
Hi everyone,
Everyone should charter buses to the DNC convention.
The visibility would be GREAT.
All the buses could have BIG Barack Obama signs on the sides and backs, and everyone could wear Barack Obama shirts. And everywhere the buses or people went, everyone would see them.
Just think about the visibility it would give Barack Obama.
The impact it would have, would be great.
Thanks so much for your time.
Sincerely,
Paul Warnow

Lets Get Barack Obama Elected!!!
First, my hat goes off to the many volunteers that are actively involved in helping get Barack Obama elected. Whether they are doing fundraising, phone banking, or visibility & voter registration; its all very important.
I think one of the most critical things any of us can do right now is to reach the Reluctant Voters, individuals who might be willing to vote for Barack Obama; but for what ever reason they are hesitant or reluctant to vote for him.
Outside of commercials, visibility is one of the most effective things we can do, and it is certainly the most inexpensive. Doing Visibility allows our message to reach thousands of people every hour, who we would never normally reach.
Over 300,000 people have probably seen the Vote for Change visibility displays since May.

Please see the following link for photos of the Vote for Change visibility display:

If we are to win in November, we will need to focus our time and energy in the most effective manner,
1) With the most influential message.
2) Targeting those that need to be reached.
3) Reaching the most people.
And, we should all be volunteering for at least ONE HOUR A WEEK.
Lets get Barack Obama Elected!!!
Call for Action: Six Month Boycott of the New Yorker Magazine
The cover of the New Yorker Magazine is racially insensitive, racially inflammatory, and racist.
Certainly some people will call it satire; but, I believe it has, and will, just reinforce the false racist statements made by republicans, which are intended to undermine and demean Barack Obama.
For this reason, I call for everyone to Boycott the New Yorker Magazine for six months, or until they put someone from the NAACP on their editorial staff for six months, and accept and publish articles on racial insensitivity in every edition for six months.
Until then, Boycott the New Yorker Magazine.
Heres the breakdown of my 125 calls to Ohio this week:
After 250 total calls to Ohio, my year to date breakdown is as follows:

So I just finished my first week of calls to Ohio on behalf of Barack. I made 25 calls per day, meaning I've now placed 125 calls to the great swing state.
The experience was not exactly fun... the few people I did reach, didn't really want to talk, but as long as I'm helping update Barack's database of voters, I think its an important task.
Again, I wish I knew how many other supporters were making these calls and how many total calls have been made via this website, so I didn't feel alone and on an island during the process. If I know hundreds (or even thousands) of others were making these calls then I would be much more energized about the calls. Either way though, I'm gonna keep it up and committ to 25 calls per day this summer.
Anyways... until next time: GO O!
