Where as I wish the best for HRC. Her campaign as well as her supporters showed what they stand for. It has nothing to do with lets get the best person in office or let us unify the dem party it had everything to do with I deserve this, I am the one no matter what America thinks and Myself and my husband are what America stands for and is about.
If I go out and rob a house, steal a purse, or break any other law I have to pay the price. I know that it's not completly the same but if you get down to the heart of it all, if you break the rules you pay a price. Might it have been different if the two states in question had followed the rules? Maybe so. But the fact is they didn't and seating all the delagates completly was never an option. I myself as an indepenent can see why i have leaned more to the right in the past because today was a sad overview of just what the Clintons stand for. Me, Me, Me. Screw the party and screw anyone who doesnt believe in me.
i understand HRC may have the popular vote in the end. However just because the bigger states with more people gave her that doesnt mean that California, New York,...etc speak for the heart of America. Obama holds more states has more votes and has brought more people like myself into this election than HRC or her husband ever could. As an indpendent I will support and stand behind anything Obama has to lay before us. However if HRC becomes the nominee I will vote for McCain. On that note I will also say If Clinton stands down and Obama picks her for VP I will support them both (doubtful he will). At this point its all about I'm HRC and screw the party and I don't see that changing. Maybe I am wrong and it ends Tuesday but I doubt it.
Together we can make a change in Washington and together we can change the future. HRC is the past Barack Obama is our future... YES WE CAN. I may not see the change in my lifetime but I am working for the change for my children. I pray that others see the same need and in November the children of the baby boomers stand up and show America that Generation X has hopes and dreams for there children and it will be better than the America up until today.
Democrats of The Big First;
If you would like to be part of a new group that is forming to help Barack Obama reach out to the rural areas and small towns of Kansas' Big First US Congressional District, we invite you to join at the Obama website, at this link. It was just formed, (Saturday, noon) and is now awaiting moderation, it should be up and running very soon.

If you would consider forming a similar group for your own town, city or interest group, please add it to the growing list that already includes Salina, McPherson, Newton and Ellsworth, so we can start using this great networking tool to turn this red state blue!
Be sure and join the Kansas Action Team on the same site, if you want to help organize on a statewide basis, the time has come to get the summer season rolling, November is less than 6 months away!
Thanks for joining, and if you would like to email me personally, email to jepatt@kscoxmail.com, or you can call me at the number listed below if you have ideas for grassroots outreach, or any questions about what we might be planning for The Big First.

(*Thought we ought to get that endorsement out of the way in the first post...)
When Mrs. Clinton spoke on her trip to Bosnia she never misspoke, misremembered or even just forgot the facts. Mrs. Hillary Clinton lied. She read a prepaired speech for a group of people who were there to hear her and made it sound true and believeable until she was called out by Sinbad.
I am tired of the excuses used by the Clintons from Whitewater all the way to Monicagate. Not even mentioning the other things covered up lied about and hidden when her husband was Gov.
I am not well educated and I am a lower middle class white male. Uneducated yes. Stupid NO. I can see whats right in front of me and that is that this nation does not need another Clinton and as a republican all my life I also say we don't need another Bush or a clone of him. I have had enough Bush, Clinton, Bush. And yes I voted for two out of 3. Clinton and Bush Jr. But this year for my children and their children I have made a choice and the choice is change.
The man who married my wife and I is a great man but his views may not be mine. What Rev. Wright says, feels or believes has nothing to do with the man Mr. Obama is. Mr. Obama is the next Commander and Cheif. If myself and people like me stand up for whats right. No matter what the media drills in our minds that Rev. Wright said. He said it, it's in the past and its clear Barack does not share his views.
Together we can make a difference and together we can make a change.
YES WE CAN!!!!
I am a Texas native now in Kansas and I pray that my fellow Texans can come together and show Mrs. Clinton that no matter how strong you may think you're firewall is, there is always a way in and around the blocks and protections you install. And our way in is CHANGE and a belief that we can again make our country what is was meant to be when it was founded. Not what it has become over the past 20 years of Bush, Clinton, Bush. I don't want it being 24 years of the same I want CHANGE......Obama '08.
