Journalist Jeff Greenfield responded to the ongoing battle from the media this week, when reporting, that the FOX NEW’S DEPARTMENT is being accused of being the research and communication’s arm of the Republican Party. He also says that “. . . Fox’s bottom-line has increased 13% since Obama came into office. So perhaps they are crying all the way to the bank”.
Obama accuses Fox News as appearing “to be more like a talk show format and not a news format”.
There is no question that the Rupert Murdoch owned conglomeration’s opinions predominately favor the far Right Republican agenda. So when the White House decides not to give more fuel to Fox’s perceived negativity and refuses to be on their programs, is this an exercise of free speech? On the other hand, is it an exercise in futility? The points of views coming from the White House will be interpreted as the voice of the Obama Administration no matter what the administration representative says when they appear on FOX. Being fair however, MSNBC has been called the most left in their presentation of Obama’s opinions. So to whom do we listen for the “true news story”? Nevertheless, who would that be?
Where do we find a news source that is truly balanced? Personally, I find I have to listen to them all and weigh what seems “logical”, but I was taught in journalism school and at the LA TIMES that politics are highly hinged in “manipulating emotions and the illusion”.

A Recent Visit to Gaza

Laila Al-Marayati, MD, will share her experiences of her recent visit to Gaza and will address some of the major political issues that impact the ongoing situation.
Dr. Al-Marayati is the chairperson of Kids in Need of Development, Education and Relief (KinderUSA), a non-profit humanitarian organization dedicated to helping Palestinian children and their families in Gaza, the West Bank and refugee camps in Lebanon. And on behalf of KinderUSA, she traveled to the Gaza Strip in May of this year where she had the opportunity to witness first hand the degree of destruction caused by the Israeli offensive in December of 2008. She visited with numerous Palestinians who continue to suffer under a regime of collective punishment that targets all members of society including those most vulnerable, children. The effects of the ongoing siege of Gaza combined with the trauma caused by the Israeli attack have imposed serious challenges on Palestinians living in Gaza. Yet their resourcefulness and faith help them survive and endure, hoping against all hope for a better future.
Dr. Al-Marayati has served on the US Commission on International Religious Freedom as an appointee of former President Bill Clinton. She is a practicing obstetrician-gynecologist and is the Medical Director of Women's Health at the Eisner Pediatric and Family Medical Center. She serves as the spokesperson of the Muslim Women's League based in Los Angeles which seeks to strengthen the role of Muslim women in society by disseminating accurate information about Islam and women to Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
A question and answer period will follow the presentation.

Public Infastructure is key to our independence from fossil fuels. Look at Japan and Europe, most people there depend on the public infastructure. America doesn't have to achieve that but what America does have to do is create more funding in order to be on top of the game.
Some people believe that the only way towards energy independence is nuclear power. Some experts such as chemical engineer Joseph Shuster (you can check out his website at http://beyondfossilfools.com/) say that nuclear energy is the only energy source currently availible to achieve energy independence. They say that nuclear power has by far the safest record out of all the major energy sources, they argue that it is very cheap and declare that nuclear power is currently avalible. All of those is true but just like fossil fuels, nuclear power depends on a finite energy source, uranium. So if we ever do run out of uranium, what will we do? Future generations would be stuck with the same problem that we have right now.

After the copper age the Soul gets a body - a material body and impurity beggins to pull the Soul down from the supreme level of spiritual heaven, and that is how the soul falls to this material level also known as:
4- The Iron age = Dominated by body conciussnes and evil, and this age comes with sickness, pain and sorrow, bondaged.
At the end of the Iron age is when The Supreme Soul interferes -This is when God Comes - This age is the down of the Golden age all over again- and for those who recognized The Supreme Soul=God and the knowledge=wisdom -then and only then they get to move on to what is called:
5- The Diamond Age = It is when the Soul knows and now understands the whole drama and clarity and wisdom and that Soul prepares to serve so that it can move on to the Golden age of the Circle of the cycles of the Soul - The Golden Age = the age of perfection also known as Spiritual Heaven.
In other words The Souls have a Cycle that is round like a wheel - all souls are children of the Supreme Soul God and The whole Cycle of the Souls takes about 5000 years from the Golden age -all the way down to the Iron age and then the diamond age and back to the Golden age again. So, This means that Our Souls are like angels pure with a body of light and they go through decending cycles - we are the fallen angels -when we finish going down the cycle wheel we get to the end of the wheel where is the Iron age and we materialized by getting a physical body, then God The Supreme Soul interferes at that point and comes and picks us up and prepare us with wisdom after the drama of purification - the drama of purification is the fire the souls go through so that they can become purify the fire is not a hot fire but a cold fire of God that purifies the human heart and mind and spirit also known as the fire of yoga. Well after the drama of purification God interferes making us wise and when we aknowledge and recognized God and become pure enough we say we are in the Diamond age the dawn of the Golden age all over again. Then in The golden age are souls become angels again and start the Cycle of the souls all over again.
