Reduce Reuse Recycle

If you want to save the Earth for future generations, and if you think recycling is a part of the solution, then please consider joining this Obama group to make your statement. I am always so surprised when I travel out of Oregon. I see bottles and cans strewn all over the roadway. In Oregon, we recycle our bottles and cans and retrieve five cents each at the grocery stores. Did you ever notice the markings on the cans and bottles? Have a look at the list of states, VT, ME, NY, OR, CT, MA, IA, HI, MI, that refund money for returned cans and bottles. I remember that Seinfeld episode, The Bottle Deposit, when Newman learns that bottles and cans can be refunded for 10 cents in Michigan (as opposed to 5 cents in other states). Remember that episode? Recycling bottles and cans is only the beginning! People really should be better stewards of our one-and-only Earth and produce less waste by practising the 3 Rs: Reduce the amount and toxicity of trash you discard. Reuse containers and products; repair what is broken or give it to someone who can repair it. Recycle as much as possible, which includes buying products with recycled content. I think we, as a nation, should set federal standards with achievable target dates requiring all states to recycle plastic, aluminium, paper, et cetera, incrementally working toward a goal of zero waste. Come on! All non-human animals do it every day. Are we not supposedly the smartest animals? Let us not be so shortsighted, only thinking in the short term, focusing on immediate financial advantage. Life is more than a business profit margin. Consider the quality of life for future generations. Check out the Oregon Bottle Bill of 1971, which was the first container deposit legislation passed in the United States. Here is what Barack Obama said on October 22, 2006 on Meet the Press, “My instinct is that the current generation is more interested in smart government. Let us have enough government to get the job done. If we are looking at problems, if the market solution works, let us go with the market solution. If a solution requires government intervention, let us do that. But let us look at what are the practical outcomes. And I think that kind of politics is what the country is hungry for right now.”

The Dalai Lama called that China would act to prevent the melting of glaciers in Tibet, saying that the environmental crisis is more urgent than a political solution on the future of Tibet.

My Father Kidnapped in Long Beach California

UPDATE:
As it turns out my father realy was Arrested in California By United States Marshalls and Los Angeles Sheriffs Department, He is charged with a crime that took place in Arizona in 1987.
I just wish the Long Beach Police department and the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Office would have been honest at first when we called them, He was arrested under another name but
they did have his real name and I know this for a fact since he was listed in The Associated Press, and websites in Arizona and California as early as Thursday 8/20/09, But yet the authorities
did not even release this information to his Immediate Family, Go Figure.

Please help me find my Kidnapped Father
Richard Earl Rodgers was kidnapped by Two Men identifying themselves as Sheriffs Officers was taken at approximately 10:00 am Pacific Time Thursday Morning from an Apartment Complex In Long Beach California.
The pictures below were taken somewhere in Long Beach approximately Three Years ago.
My father is now confined to an Electric Wheel Chair. I cantacted the Los Angeles Divison of the Federal Bureau of Investigation at approximately 1:00 am today 8/25/09 asking for their assistance since the Long Beach Police Department after all day on the phone with them between myself and my two sisters we were finally able to get the Missing Persons Department to take a Report we were told by Long Beach however that they could not investigate until tomorrow or Wednesday. So I called first the FBI office in Atlanta Ga since the office in Columbus Georgia had an answering machine that directed me to Atlanta. The Lady agent in Atlanta was rude an arrogant and stated to me that The FBI could not do anything unless Long Beach California police department contacted them. So like I said I could not believe an organization of Law Enforcement that is Paid by Taxpayer Dollars from the American taxpayers would be so Arrogent and Uncaring, I researched on the web the FBI for Long Beach California and was directed to Los Angeles Division of the FBI.
The Female Agent at Los Angeles California was very caring and understanding when I explained my situation to her. Then she stopped me and told me to hold on a Second. You see My father had just called the Los Angeles FBI office 10 minutes earlier so that would have been Just Before 10:00pm Pacific Time last night since Georgia is on Eastern Time and stated the her that he had Escaped from his kidnappers and was in the Downtown Los Angeles California area. So if anyone sees a man in the Los Angeles California or Long Beach California matching the description and photo below please contact Missing Persons Division of The Long Beach Police Department, Detectives Johnson or Turner at 562-570-8810,562-570-1446 or562-570-7260, Your Local Police Department or 911.
My Fathers Description
He is a White Male 82 Years of age, Approximately 6' 2" Confined to a Wheel Chair, But he may be limping or struggling to walk if his wheel chair is not available. If he has his wheel chair it has a Green Bottom Area and he will have a Black backpack attached to it. He usually wears a Basecap with a Flag in the background and an Eagle in the foreground on the front of the Baseball cap. He has a Scar on his Nose from surgery.

Uninsured Teabag Protester Needs Donations for Medical Bill

At a recent town hall, I stumbled upon some rather interesting circumstances. The teabag experts with whom I spoke, and they were many and varied, were either Medicare recipients and thus insured by a government-run health care program, in the military or retired military and thus covered by Tricare (another government-run health care program), or uninsured. None of them had ever heard the term "rescission."

One woman, when I asked her what kind of medical insurance she had, told me that she had "the kind you pay for". So I asked, "Which insurance provider?" She said, "The kind you pay for." I replied, "Yes, but which insurance company?" She said, "The kind you pay for." It was a curiously Katie Couric/Sarah Palin moment.

I suspected that this woman was, in fact, uninsured.

Moreover, I can't count the number of times I was confronted with "Why should I pay for your health care?" My response: "Why not? I pay for yours, don't I? Both Medicare and Tricare are supported by federal taxes and I pay taxes. So what's your point?"

Besides, I have health insurance, but I also have a conscience about those who don't have it and can't get it.

In the car on the way home I told my husband that I didn't think many of these people even had health insurance, yet they were protesting Obama's public/private health care exchange.

So here's my dilemma: Do I contribute to Kenneth Gladney's health care fund or let him suffer?

Hello Everyone,

This is for real this is not a joke.

I received a decision letter from The Social Security Administration tonight that as of July 23, 2009 coincidently that was my birthday that I was no longer entitled to social security disability benefits.

Those of you that personally know me know what I have been going through since they stopped my benefits earlier and how my health got worse. You that know me, know how much my work means to me and how hard I work to provide the service that I perform for you guys even though I am Impaired with my disability, I am not able to obtain a normal job due to my disabilities.

Again those of you that personally know me,know that I am not able to obtain a regular salaried or hourly job due to my medical disablities and therefore I am asking for immediate and Extremely Urgent help tonight. You all know me to be an honest person.

Therefore I am in great need for immediate donations. Here is my problem again let me explain this email is really from me. Tom Rodgers, As I sit here at my office in Cusseta tonight am I wondering where do I go from here. I have worked so hard to continue to provide services to all of you at the lowest possible prices.. As most of you are aware of I use my disability Income to provide this services to you which I enjoy doing very much it is my life and I Love being able to provide assistance and services to all of you. There is a great need for me in the local area and also a great need for me to be able to operate the website. Stock Taking on Ourselves - A three dimensional View of Who We Are?

What defines our life span?

What creates us as "unit" entities on this planet?

Where was the beginning and what determines the end of this lifetime? Is it just a transition from one lifetime to another, from one being into a hopefully higher-order being, and if so what defines these laws of creation?

Time and again numerous efforts have been made to try and find conclusive answers, and still evolving is the science to know the beyond, leaving very little choice but to be complacent with nothing but the mystery of the "Unknown".....So then, if it is true that we are unable to either chart out our paths and much less to control it, do we even attempt remotely to have a plan, a roadmap to where we want to lead ourselves? If someone out there shouted out a resounding "Yes" to provide answers to all these puzzling questions, then we may make it easy upon ourselves and just pay attention, heed and allow ourselves to be led. While there are so many many different roads and paths, each claiming to get us to that better self-realized , conscious selves, we want adequate proof that this IS quite that method, process, belief, dogma, practice???

Given that it might just be our own very special journey, we might atleast want to own it completely, every step of the way, despite the fact that we are sometimes totally "not in control" of any or almost all the factors coming at us. And in today's complex World, and more so in such trying times, it is only more natural to turn to religion, faith, set of beliefs, or whatever source that exists out there in the hope of finding our solutions, especially to get our inner selves in balance, better equipped to fight our each new day. May be almost ninety five percent of the people have not been in that RIGHT PLACE, DOING THAT RIGHT THING AND AT THE RIGHT TIME, so then what leaves us as victors, if at all that.....it probably may not be most often times judged by what others might think, say or do unto you but ultimately by your own thoughts, and ensuing actions, which might in the least leave us at that "finish line" with a complete sense of having lived a good life and more importantly having probably laid that step in preparation for our next. For not knowing what's after is in itself the justification to prepare and make plans that it be as good, if not better. If we spend so much time and effort on deciding what we want to enjoy for our next meal, not sure if we might just be around to enjoy it, how much more should our efforts be on that continuum, to want to live on that higher plane, with a full realization of that sixth sense, and radiate the peace, joy and happiness from within.

These may be very trying times, and so much more difficult that we might find solutions to our everyday problems through developing our spiritual selves, but as much as these external factors are not in our realm of control, and as much as situations cannot be made better, altered overnight, we could generate the power from within ourselves to better deal with issues. So it might just be worth a little bit of effort to pause and take stock of where we are in terms of our physical self, no doubt, but also our mental and spiritual selves. And choose the plan to nurture each of these components of our beings, it sure might atleast leave us complete and in perfect harmony with ourselves, to be GIVERS rather than TAKERS at the end of it all.....GOD BLESS!

I am talking and thinking about the ordinary creative everyday people who have dreams, hobbies a ideas and inventions "locked up" inside the recesses of Their Mind and Hearts, and My point is that no matter how bad the economy or job market is, we can always overcome and begin anew.

Knowledge is power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If we know How to Do something True, Just and Profitable, then we will Always have the Ready Made Solutions on how to solve Life's Problems and Economic Storms.
During the Depressions How did the People Become Millionaires/ or be Get their Financial and Life Needs(Problems) Met/Solved?.

The Economy has laid off millions upon Millions of People from the Job Worked Force. How do we a get new economy started for them? How do we change the way we think about job security?

Why can't we start our own businesses?

People(rich and poor) are taking their own lives, and now they are even cutting off and taking the lives of their own family members. It is dangerous to make permanent solutions based on temporary problems(i.e. job loss, homelessness illness etc.)

WE JUST SAW THE VIDEO OF OUR PRESIDENT OBAMA SENDING GREETINGS YOU ALL FOR THIS SPECIAL DAY OF THE YEAR FOR YOU. WE DID NOT REALIZE YOU HAD A DIFFERENT DATE TO START OFF THE CALENDAR YEAR! THIS SHOWS HOW THERE IS JUST SO MUCH WE NEED TO LEARN ABOUT EACH OTHER! ANYWAY, WE HOPE THIS WILL ALSO BE THE START OF A NEW ERA OF PEACE AND RENEWED FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN OUR COUNTRIES.
