Obama for America
The historic nature of Obama’s victory and eventual election into the White House cannot be over emphasized, not now or even in the near future as a result of its magnitude, challenges, hope and inspiration for the people of this great country and by extrapolation the entire global. Simply put it was the epitome and personification of the fundamental idealism of the principle that America was built upon; democracy, opportunity and freedom for mankind.
By winning the White House, Obama has succeeded in finally ending the civil right war and to a greater extent the war of discrimination, the dogma of hegemony and succeeded in rally the people along the commonality of the necessity for man to co-existence with his neighbor even when they disagree. Furthermore, America as a nation has pragmatically confronted the last ideological mentality of treating man on the basis of color rather than the content of his worth.
Today the historic event retrospectively belong primarily to the American people especially and coincidentally those who were more or less excluded from partaking fully in the various civil responsibilities ascribed to some Americans prior to the 1963-1965 civil right era that led to the inclusion of Blacks to vote in the USA. Obama performed creditably well among first and foremost women, then the Blacks, but the most essential section that in my opinion I feel made the difference are the youths that defile all speculations, pundits and cynicism and came out in record numbers to usher in the change we have been waiting for since the transition of the greats like Dr. King and others that have sacrificed so much for their beloved country.
The call begins: "Hello. I'm calling for John McCain and the RNC," before telling recipients that they "need to know that Barack Obama has worked closely with domestic terrorist, Bill Ayers, whose organization bombed the U.S. Capitol, the Pentagon, a judge's home, and killed Americans."
The current political dispensation has indeed as a matter of fact produces one of the best scenario that evidently can be used in the near future to compare and contrast the capacity and incapacity, the calm and agitation, the objectivity and subjectivity and above all the relationship that existed within the two political parties; the Democrat on one side and the Republican on the other hand.
In recent times it is just unbelievable and exceedingly gratifying to hear, feel and watch the near unanimous consensus that Sen. Obama has displayed in an unequivocal term the sterling qualities of a would be- commander in chief of the country and for good reasons too. In spite of the obsessive negativity and dogmatism from the Sen. McCain’s campaign which for the first time in the history of the country have surrogates referring to a rival presidential candidate of the United States of America as a terrorist, this young, vibrant, articulate, humane and ever forgiving and calm senator from Illinois has remained largely unaffected and unmovable in his goal of working with ordinary Americans to help turn the page.
It is a fact and within the horizon of realism that we are witnessing the worst socio-economic scenarios in the country- a situation that has plunged the image of the United States of America into the abysses and simply put ridicule the conception that we are indeed the super power of the world in context of social, political and economic prowess. The reality of the matter is that given the past eight years, the country has seen the dwindling of her fortune in such an exponential level that today it is true to surmise that China, Japan, Russia are now within striking distance in terms of influencing global affairs and even championing motions that may be contrary to the fundamentalism of the United States of America.
The USA is a country that typifies the world at large, simply because it is the microcosm of the real world.
Obama is the triumph of the beauty and glory of the term "unity in diversity" and furthermore, "strength in diversity".
Owing to the honesty, dexterity, and the absolute desire and commitment to a positive change in the way politics is being run here in the USA, Sen. Obama has displayed that, he is capable of leading us to the Promised Land; one which is flowing with justice and peace, love and happiness, honesty, and respect for mankind.
Moreover, most frankly and on a very positive note, Obama is viewed as a unifier, rather than a divider. He has miniaturized the existence of discriminatory factors such as racism. It sufficed to note that, a lot of Sen. Obama's supporters are essentially the majority of the American people and minorities too.
The exemplary display of maturity, calmness in the face of unhealthy and deceptive propaganda by special interests and lobbyist, has further endeared him to the generality of the Americans.
In Obama, diversity has a new meaning;
Different
Individuals
Values
Each other
Regardless of
Skin,
Intelligence,
Talents and
Years!
This is the time for a change that we can believe in, let us not allow this unique opportunity to pass us by.Obama's promises are the peoples gain and honest desire and aspiration.
God bless USA
God bless Obama & Biden
This development is a victory for democracy and emancipation from the mentality that nothing good could even come out of the voting process as long as the status quo and systemic maneuvering of the special interest remained influential in the current dispensation.
Americans have the right to be registered and vote on the same day as long as the meet the eligibility requirements. Furthermore considering the fact that many “homeowners’” may not even be guarantee the benefit of knowing what will become of their home tomorrow, there is no question that the action of the U.S. appeals Court in Ohio amount to the most pragmatic and patriotic verdict to ensure fairness and accountability.
In light of the above development, my thinking is that the Republican Party and its cronies should stop treating the current political dispensation as if it were just a win or loose situation. As a matter of fact this is serious business and not just about Obama or McCain but the fundamentalism and idealism that have made the USA the pinnacle of democracy and envy of the world.
What if John McCain were a former president of the Harvard Law Review? What if Barack Obama finished fifth from the bottom of his graduating class? What if McCain were still married to the first woman he said 'I do' to? What if Obama were the candidate who left his first wife after she no longer measured up to his standards? What if Michelle Obama were a wife who not only became addicted to pain killers, but acquired them illegally through her charitable organization? What if Cindy McCain graduated from Harvard? What if Obama were a member of the 'Keating 5'? What if McCain was a charismatic, eloquent speaker? If these questions reflected reality, do you really believe the election numbers would be as close as they are? This is what racism does. It covers up, rationalizes and minimizes positive qualities in one candidate and emphasizes negative qualities in another when there is a color difference. And it’s not limited to racism.
A book is not judge by its cover but the content it possesses. It is also of essence to note without doubt that the convictions and ideology a man tends to admire and advocate for could as well attest to the part in life that he or she is inclined to follow. In other words the window to elucidate the unthinkable about a man is to reflect on what principles have guided his lives, actions, words and sympathy.
Sen. McCain happens to be an individual called a ‘maverick’ as a result of his inclination to unilateralism in some instances when he has to even run against his party and pursue bi-partisan ventures. Nevertheless, President Bill Clinton has manifested this same bi-partisan inclination in an objective and holistic manner than McCain.
The national security articulations of McCain as enunciated by his surrogates are not far from those of the incumbent and in fact as a matter of fact have the capacity to plunge the country into its worst era in foreign affairs matters. Simply put the McCain doctrine will represents an exponential facet of that of President George Bush in that, his military record have inimically rather than objectively shaped his dogmatic, archaic and sentimental campaign of divisiveness, discriminations and punitive mentality on nations with divergent views and with little or no inclination to diplomacy, dialogue or even any form of engagement.
We are facing one of the most serious financial crises in this nation’s history. The events of the last week – from the failure of Lehman to the bailout of AIG to the continued volatility of the market – have not just threatened the trading floors and high-rises of Wall Street, but the stability and security of our entire global economy. Across this country, Americans are worried about whether they can make their mortgage payments, or keep their jobs, or ensure that their retirement is secure. Truly, we are all in this together.

I have never listened to such an articulate, non-partisan and comprehensively patriotic, nationalistic and essentially encouraging, hopeful and progressive economic speech the way Sen. Obama has enumerated in the above presentation.
The prevailing economic reality may come to some Americans as a surprise but nevertheless not to the government of the incumbent, since the ad hoc intervention it has dishes out to the ailing financial corporations have indeed left many wondering as to why such selectivity.
Unfortunately, and reminiscent of the days prior to the President Bill Clinton’s era, the Democratic Party will now have to come over and clear the mess that the Republican Party is leaving behind. Later we expect them to come back from their forced hibernation and try to take over Washington, then the socio-economic conditions of the people will become abysmal and the Democratic Party’s turn to rejuvenate the economy and the country as a whole again and this cycle continues endlessly.
Given what the country is going through it is indeed very sad that the McCain’s campaign is more focused on attempting to convey the notion that Obama is capitalizing on the situation, since the reality of the whole situation boils down to the more pragmatic and concrete articulations that the later has enunciated coupled with the better understanding his economic experts and team have been working tirelessly to inform Americans that there are series of distortions and deceptions going on in Washington that is being shielded from the people.
Since the primaries I did some voter registration events. However, outside of that, it has been reading all the email exchanges between members on various Obama Groups. Reading those things one gets the impression that the world was soon going to be coming to an end.
Last week I was asked if I could help out one of the offices in Virginia. I went down to find out where I could be of help. Obama winning the election is very doable. Forget about what the news is saying, and all the negative email messages on the Obama Groups. Whining, crying, complaining, pissing, and moaning about the McCain Campaign may make you feel good, but feeling good and $3 will get you a Venti coffee in almost any Starbucks. If you’re feeling depressed, plan on volunteering. Join other Obama supporters at an office making phone calls, canvassing, and registering voters. If you’re still depressed, there is obviously something seriously wrong, and you should definitely seek professional help. I’m also highly qualified to assist with psychological evaluations; I spent 15 months with a Marine Corps Infantry unit in a combat zone after I dropped out of High School. :-)
It's time to request your absentee ballot. With only 7 weekends left, and the need for you to work the polls on Election Day, now is the time to request an absentee ballot. Here is how the process works – You submit an Absentee Ballot Application. About three weeks before Election Day, your Board of Elections will mail you a ballot. You must complete the ballot and return it before the deadline stated on the ballot. How do I get an Absentee Ballot Application? You can download it from this weblink: http://elections.state.md.us/voting/2008_absentee_info.html Fill it out, write in the address for your county's board of elections (available on the form), slap on a stamp and mail it. The deadline to submit an Absentee Ballot Request form is October 28th.
Thanks and see you in Virginia or Pennsylvania.
Watching Sen. Obama respond to the barrage of lies, deceptions and distortions by the McCain’s campaign and coupled with his instance that the necessity of authenticity must never be compromised no matter whether “we are up or down” comprehensively sealed him as a candidate that sincerely and objectively understood what it takes to make our hopes and dreams to become a reality.
Emerging facts are now more than before conspicuously defining this articulate, dynamic, young and wise leader as an individual that can be indeed trusted to move the country in a positive direction with a running mate that is pragmatically positioned to keep under control any influence that countries such as Russia, China and the likes may have over the country.
Our hopes and dreams in this country can be simply summarize in these few words; quality education, healthcare and economy, coupled with an articulate and resilient foreign policy articulations and above all the fierce urgency of recognizing the commonality of the Americans people desire to be united, focused and nationalistic in every ramification of their lives. We want to live in such a way that ordinarily it will be possible to feed our children, take them to school and still be able to have savings account in the bank.
During the just concluded Democratic Party convention in Denver, within the horizon of realism, Obama and Biden and the entire party did a great job in articulating and bringing to the forefronts of Americans the goal of the Obama led candidacy!
The same could not be attributable to the Republican Party and the McCain- Palin candidacy in that it is all about Obama and nothing about the economy or Americans. This is by far the most myopic, dogmatic, archaic and denigrates style of attack I have seen so far in the current dispensation.
I am totally in support of the way and fashion Sen. Obama reacted to the attacks from that party and its presidential candidate and his running mates coupled with their surrogates.

It is therefore a shame that McCain and company do not have any tangible plan on how to reposition the country and its part to the reclamation of its place in the committee of nations.
A word is enough for the wise
