The event following on the heels of the the Annual Tualatin Crawfish Festival a week prior serves up a fun relaxing afternoon with Obama and Democrat supporters from all over Washington County. Children will enjoy the new playground area with decorative gym climbs, and a scenic viewing area overlooking the beautiful Tualatin River. There will be face painting for kids, Obama Bubbles, and a friendly Pull 4 Obama TugO-War game for children and adults. Bring your Frisbees, play catch and throw the softball around the horn, serve it up on the tennis court, shoot three pointers on the basketball court, or bump it up with volleyball.
The main thrust of this event is to acquire new voter registrations in Washington County with a breakthrough concept modeled after drive through coffee stands... a Drive-Thu Voter Registration that can complete the entire sign up process in minutes with the assistance of capable volunteer registrars. The TigardObamanators, is a collective group of experienced and passionate volunteers with a "progressive" spin to traditional campaigning engaging their community to "connect" with neighbors and increase voter support and new registrations - particularly Latino voters in Washington County. This event paves the way to bolster Barack Obama's swelling support across Oregon and the rest of America in addition to key at stake Democratic positions nationwide.

After reading many of the post made by members here both good and bad, inflammatory, auspicious, with a direct taste of democogary and sincerity regarding Mrs. Hillary Clinton, it is obvious that many are sincerely pained and directly frustrated with the current events with the ongoing Presidential democratic nominating election.
To summarize, on the one hand Mrs. Clinton is right, the people do have a right to vote and to democratically nominate a candidate for president in their respective party, no state as a whole should be punished for the actions or decisions made by leading committee members, if anything those members should be the ones punished, but I will leave that to the DNC to decide, my thoughts and or worries go far beyond that.
What I see as a big problem is what I stated earlier, I have heard many comments and listened too many of the speeches from both candidates regarding the party uniting come the general elections.
Quite frankly my biggest fear is looming in the horizon, the Democratic party will lose this presidential election, but not because of the peoples vote, I don’t believe those that appose Barack Obama, or Hillary Clinton will vote republican, I think that they will abstain from voting, I believe their loyalty and hard fast faith in their candidate will cause them to simply not vote.
I have gone over and over the speeches and comments made by each candidates as it was recorded and it’s not what they said, it was the responses made by the audience each time their candidates opponent name was mentioned, even when the candidate was congratulating his or her opponent, the remarks sneers are unmistakable.
I think if this party is going to unite and elect a candidate to the White House as President of the United States, this needs to stop and I don’t mean cast the blame on the other side of the party, for that very statement is the heart or root of the problem.
Read the post by many here in the blogs, these people just like Mrs. Clintons supporters care and believe deeply in their candidate and as this drags on, both candidate followers are getting seriously offended, the campaign has gotten downright nasty.
I didn’t like what Mrs. Clinton said regarding Bobby Kennedy, I think it was a totally misspoken analogy made under stress full circumstances, but as the party supporters ring this out they are not just convincing voters that Mrs. Clinton should step down, they are also ouster sizing those voters.
Think about it for a moment, President Bush wins an election by what many if not most would say was the most contested election in recent history, and shortly thereafter the country came under direct attack on 9/11, this country has put into war, a war that was mis represented to the american people makeing it about personal revenge for his father and the oportunity and personal stakes in the oil fields in Irag and many lives have been lost, the cost of living has sky rocketed beyond what most would have actually expected, massive record breaking single family foreclosures across the U.S. and the future as fore told by economist regarding the ongoing cost of Oil see’s no end in sight to the rising cost associated with it and ever so present is the bulging at the seams record breaking U.S. deficit.
And now we have come back after 7 ½ years later, with the opportunity to finally put an end to this Bush saga, these people are sincere and passionate about their candidate and their unrelenting belief that it is their candidate who will take them out of this bondage that has been slammed upon us.
If we want to win this election, we need to start reaching out to these people right now!
We are not going to convince them to vote for Barack Obama by telling them how stupid or how outrageous and undemocratic Mrs. Clinton is or was, hatred begets hatred always has and always will, you won’t convince me how great your brother is by slamming my sister.
Reach out to them and explain Barack Obama position, explain why you believe in his view and that his policy position is the right choice for this country, don’t make comparisons this isn’t about who is right or wrong, this is about what is best for this country, the moment it becomes clear that we are talking about what is best for the country and not witch candidate is wrong or right this party will unite.
Look I was a republican for many years and this is exactly what the republican party is hoping that you will never realize, that is exactly why McCain is speaking out to both Clinton and Barack supporters, they are not trying to earn your vote, they are desperately trying to divide the party, they or single handedly using your own passion and loyalty to your candidate to keep you from voting for your opponent, when the reality is that the republican party is your oponent not Mrs. Clinton, Mrs. Clinton is a democrat just like the rest of us, stop treating her like the enemy, our enemy is still at large in Afghanistan.
Treat people decently with respect honor their beliefs and invite them to a conversation, no one is beyond reproach but if you keep slamming their sister all they will see and act upon is hate.
I tried commenting nicely on the official HillaryClinton.com site on their blogs and they censor every comment I add to it!
They are currently blogging in mass on a site in Puerto Rico, to make it look like the all the people in on the mainland support Hillary.

Puerto Ricans cannot vote, but they can send their brave men and women to war and the latest numbers I found were ~50-60 PRs had died in Iraq as of last year, so the war is an important issue to them. Remind them Hillary voted for it, while Obama was against it to begin with.

Past is Prologue
One of Obama's most visible Senate actions on the open government front was his co-sponsorship of the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act, which went into effect Jan. 1, 2008 with the launch of USAspending.gov, a Web site that gives people access to information on government contracts, grants and other awards.
As an Illinois state senator, Obama co-sponsored the Verbatim Record Bill, requiring public agencies to video or audio record closed door meetings, The First Amendment Center reported, noting the law was the first of its kind enacted by any state.
Obama is the only remaining candidate to have signed the Reason Foundation's Oath of Presidential Transparency, and, according to The Washington Post he is the only leading candidate to have released his income tax returns.
