I’m looking to hire college students to do Vote for Change visibility; at San Francisco State University, UC Berkeley, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and Florida campuses.
I’m looking for students who are committed to progressive change. Ideally, the candidates will have organizing experience, and be highly involved in campus politics and activities.
We probably do the best visibility in support of Barack Obama, using our Vote for Change visibility display (link), which has probably been seen by upwards 700,000 people (link) and we are looking for students, whom we will hire as contractors to do Vote for Change visibility on their campuses.
We’ll provide Vote for Change visibility displays and Obama merchandise.

Vote for Change high visibility display offer
I am looking for Pro-Obama Groups; which are in states in play, such as yours; to provide Vote for Change visibility displays to; for them to do Vote for Change visibility, in their cities.
I am also looking to hire students at prominent campuses; which are in states of play, such as your; to provide Vote for Change visibility displays and Obama merchandise to; to do Vote for Change visibility on their campuses.
Over 600,000 people (link) have probably seen the Vote for Change visibility display (link), at over 40 visibility events, since the beginning May.
And, we have $4536.22 in net proceeds (link) from donations.
The Vote for Change visibility we are doing is probably the best. It’s extremely visible and very significant.
Volunteers are needed in Nevada, New Mexico, and then Arizona; to whom we will provide a Vote for Change visibility display and Obama merchandise; to do Vote for Change visibility and registration, in their cities; and to assist and oversee Student groups; with all net proceeds going to fund Student staff.

How are you today?another day of defending our next President? Don't even sweat it. Keep working' harder ," am not gonna give up"," it makes me stronger" and I am not going to call you a racist name 'cause my momma taught me better than that." Beyonce Knowles lyrics to her song survivor..and she did-- to become the top icon, black, female and beautiful top "chick" in the music game ,despite, those of us who are not her fans, including me.
I say all that to say this, and Mr. Barack Obama is going to rise,nothing is going to stop him
As far as the entrepreneur, he is maximizing on the hottest topic in America.Could he have done it positively? yes, but the "marketplace" is filled with good things about B.O. It's only natural that he'd go the opposite direction and along the way, get free media coverage, great for advertising, Apparently he also gets an emotional/psychological boost, by putting out there his opposing stream to the tsunami of support for our next Presisdent. So he is making money from his frustration. It's the capitalist tool.
However, his statement that his lawyer assured him that he is within his First Ammendment rights is not that cut and dried.
As some of you may know I am an anthropologist with 40 years of training and empirical research and still doing it daily,it's my life,not my job. As such I always turn cultural oppression on its ear, gauging the response helps one to learn how irrational racism and prejudice is..ok breathe in ..What would happen if someone printed a T-shirt that said "Jews the First Slaves of Germany?" Oh boy..For those of you who have never visited the Holocaust Museum in New York, or Los Angeles, you might not entirely understand the question in the context of history..all of those black sambo caricatures, popularized in America..were similarly depicted towards Jews. I have read, Elie Weisel's "Night" "Kristallnach" and the horrible suffering of other survivors of the Concentration camps. Every racist epithet can be lodged against ANY cultural group. The pain is the same , we are all humans.
In my interviews, I have heard the most ridiculous, twisted, absurd reasons as to why one "clan" hates another. However I must note strongly, I still respect their opinions and beliefs.
Oppression and xenophobia, twists the mind and causes mental health problems. So let him sell his T-shirts, because we know, that Obama ,a Constitutional lawyer would defend his right to do so.
Those of us who subscribe to Diversity4Obama have received an e-mail warning that "Muslims will take over in America by filling 1st local political roles (Think Gov. Jindal in Louisiana) the regional then National (Think Obama the Next President), and that Islam has a plan to take over Rome.
The subtext is the unrelenting lie that Mr. Obama is a Muslim. It comes from the uneducated opinions of a group that write chronicles under the banner of "HUMAN EVENTS."
Well if that is true we better hurry and donate as much to this campaign, and get that voter registration drive going,and canvass those sitting on the fence so we can get Barack Obama in office, a Christian man, to stop those "naughty Muslims" from taking over the Vatican (Rome) and punishing those nasty little devils, who vow celebacy a Priests, and have been doing naughty things with young pubescent altar boys entrusted to their Spiritual care.!

I can't take this, what is the muezzin saying.... OH MY GOD, He is saying GOD is Great. My EARS are BURNING. What was that? He said, "I bear witness there is no deity but God"?????? I can't take it anymore. O my, he is saying Muhammad was a prophet!!! How dare he. And how dare he tell me to make haste towards prayer and goodness. What NERVE.
Note from the Blogger: We are all people of the Book..meaning in Islam the followers are taught to respect all the Prophets, which include Jesus Christ.
But my favorite cool response is this: Don't let the trolls get under your skin. As for Muslims taking over--yes. That is our plan. We have all converted to Islam and have a master plan to take over. It started with Muhammed Ali and gathered speed with Kareem Abdul Jabbar. When Cat Stevens converted to Islam and became Yusuf Islam, it was a done deal.

The visibility would be GREAT.
All the buses could have BIG Barack Obama signs on the sides and backs, and everyone could wear Barack Obama shirts. And everywhere the buses or people went, everyone would see them.
Just think about the visibility it would give Barack Obama.
The impact it would have, would be great.

Lets Get Barack Obama Elected!!!
First, my hat goes off to the many volunteers that are actively involved in helping get Barack Obama elected. Whether they are doing fundraising, phone banking, or visibility & voter registration; its all very important.
I think one of the most critical things any of us can do right now is to reach the Reluctant Voters, individuals who might be willing to vote for Barack Obama; but for what ever reason they are hesitant or reluctant to vote for him.
Outside of commercials, visibility is one of the most effective things we can do, and it is certainly the most inexpensive. Doing Visibility allows our message to reach thousands of people every hour, who we would never normally reach.
Over 300,000 people have probably seen the Vote for Change visibility displays since May.

If we are to win in November, we will need to focus our time and energy in the most effective manner,
1) With the most influential message.
2) Targeting those that need to be reached.
3) Reaching the most people.
And, we should all be volunteering for at least ONE HOUR A WEEK.
Call for Action: Six Month Boycott of the New Yorker Magazine
The cover of the New Yorker Magazine is racially insensitive, racially inflammatory, and racist.
Certainly some people will call it satire; but, I believe it has, and will, just reinforce the false racist statements made by republicans, which are intended to undermine and demean Barack Obama.
For this reason, I call for everyone to Boycott the New Yorker Magazine for six months, or until they put someone from the NAACP on their editorial staff for six months, and accept and publish articles on racial insensitivity in every edition for six months.
Until then, Boycott the New Yorker Magazine.
THE OBJECT OF THE "DON'TWANNAOBAMA DIVERSE GROUP" HAS ACHIEVED THEIR GOAL.
RACE BAITING IS NOW ON THE TABLE. THEY WERE SO BOTHERED THAT THIS MAJOR ISSUE JUST WASN'T OUT THERE--- NOW THE NEW YORKER HAS OPENED UP THE FLOODGATES.

HIS FIGHT IS NOT MCCAIN'S fight. He doesn't have to defend his being "white." This has to be taken of the table. This campaign, is not the forum to SOLVE RACE RELATIONS IN AMERICA!!
If you feel you want to discuss this issue then next week in Washington D.C. Former Rep. Cohen and his wife Janet Langhorne Cohen are having a 2 day Conference on Race.
The issues are clear. The losers want to distract Americans and pander to racial fears, xenophobia, dark skins vs. light skins, don't fall for it. They are race baiting , don't fall for it.

The money must be used to keep us safe as we travel the highways, bridges, etc. Senator Obama has the right judgement to lead this country as he has demonstrated again. Why doesn't he get more media on this? The real issues. What a lack of accountability by our media during this election cycle. Should I have expected anything different? I think not?

It’s amazing to me when critiques like yours, whether you are left or right, zero in on the extreme of a text. . Reverend Wright comes from a long line of patriots that question and even condemn the United States for its past and present behavior. Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. and a multitude of civil right stalwarts were killed because of this. The reverend is not alone in his condemnation. White ministers have uttered similar phrases. And yes, so did Jesus Christ, albeit under more dire circumstances.
The sad thing about it is that well meaning people get caught up in this media frenzy with little self-analysis. Yes there is an admittance of guilt, but to be judged so harshly? Heaven forbid. Should America be judged so harshly. Hell yes. We’ve been responsible for the unnecessary death of millions around the world.
Has America progressed? Let’s measure it by how many death threats not only Reverend Wright, but Reverend Moss III, his successor, have and continue to receive. Let’s measure it by how many death threats Obama has received since we are measuring the extremes.
People label his speech as divisive. This country is already divided. If the energy expended condemning Reverend Wright were used to condemn the lunatic fringe on the right, and the not so lunatic racist who continue to discriminate in every phase of black people’s lives, this could eventually become a better country.
