Obamamania is at a fever pitch! As I've been searching the Web and reading articles about the quest for "Everything Obama" I can see that it's only GROWING with no end in site! One site said that it's like anticipating a new movie release. In this case, the release date is January 20th.. Inauguration Day. With Christmas right aournd the corner and the Inauguration only about a month away, people from around the globe are searching for Obama gifts! I've found some that I plan to buy myself! The Nov. 4th 2008 Election Results was a catch 22 for me, as a black men I was proud of the fact that after all we as American has been through where able to elected the fist black President of America, but as a Gay men I was so disappointed that we as a whole nation took a step backward by banning gay marriage and banning the RIGHTS for not only GAY men and women to adopt but Single, educated, straight men and women to adopt. The FCAC lists three primary reasons for the law: For the safety of children, to increase the number of prospective homes, and to “blunt a homosexual agenda, now I don't know where the FCAC as been for the last hundred years but they should know that you can’t get "it" from standing in the room with a gay person, or talking, living, or befriending a gay person but I can't fault the FCAC they were doing their Job and now it's time for us to do our as a Arkansan I’m not shocked that this law passed but amazed at the double standard while so called Christian Arkansans turn their noses at the gay lifestyle they bathe in hate, incest, and bad fashion. So let this be a warning to all Arkansans who think their better, or more so entitled to rights then others we will not stand for this, we will not go quietly back into the closet, will fight, we will march, we will knock on doors our voices will be heard we will have equal rights for all Americans in a changing America

I'm pretty sure that my take on this election is similar to most of Sen. Barack Obama's supporters. It has been exhilarating and exasperating. I stay glued to CNN, MSNBC and yes, even the occasional Fox Network. I get infuriated whenever I hear John McCain or Sarah Palin speak, and I must admit that on occasion, I've gotten a litte perturbed w/the Obama Campaign for not coming out harder to counter some of the attacks that have been made on his campaign. But mainly... I am so ready for this campaign to be over and for our team to WIN! It's with bated breath that we all take ths final lap. As Obama takes this last stretch of the road, all of us go with him... holding our breath, saying our prayers, hoping against hope... with fingers and toes crossed and believing that this time, against all the odds that might be against us... Yes We Can and Yes... We Will!
I am headed to Chicago on Tuesday. I don't know whether or not the election results will be clear or too close to call, but I just want to be there with "my family"... all the other Obama supporters. I especially want to be there in person to hear from Barack personally, as he speaks to his supporters. It will be an awe inspiring moment, and I just want to be there. And truly, we have become a type of family... united by our love of country and passion for our candidate of choice. We've been inspired and changed by this change movement and I can't wait to see him inaugurated as our next president.
I am so excited about the possibilities. God forbid that racism or any other ism will put John McCain or Sarah Pailin in office. I fear for our country if this were to happen. It can't. It won't! Victory looms ahead as we take this final lap.
Let's get ready to go to the inauguration!
Obama '08!
went to the Obama Rally in Jonesboro AR yesterday, got to hear President Clinton, Gov. Beebe and Sen. Pryor, Sen. Lincoln and Rep Berry. met and shook hands, powerful messages, loved it even if I had to stand for 5 1/2 hours (which kept me in bed most of today, because of my disability) proud to say, my family and myself voted early....don't have to say who for...LOL.
ya'll take care.....I know of at least 20 other folks here that have voted early for Obama, because I hounded them until they did......told them not to wait till the last minute. if you haven't voted yet....DO IT!!!!!!

After the first debate i realize why Barack Obama will be the next President, Barack showed himself as a steady stream,doing it's job, flowing and keeping the natural balance of things, while John McCain seemed to be an unreliable shower-head in a run down New York apt., "when you turn it on you never know what your going to get".
while Barack come across as strong, confidence and ready, McCain come across as uneasy, not willing to play with others, and frankly as a Liar, my mother always told me "if someone can't look you in the eyes while their talking they are lying" McCain not once looked Barack in the eyes.
On the other hand McCain had many many stories to tell about his 20 something years in service but time and time again Barack was clear and direct challenging McCain record "McCain may have a long record, but is it a record of helping the people" and that reminded me of something i read somewhere "what prophets a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul" ummm that seems to fit McCain's record.

I'm sorry, but the latest campaign ad from Obama's campaign is a complete waste. Who cares if John McCain can't use the internet or send an e-mail. We know he's OLD.
PLEASE, for God's sake focus on the economy! McCain's entire economic campaign revolves around earmarks. Earmarks account for a whopping .6% of total spending, a drop in the hat. McCain has also misled Americans about earmarks, at one point saying he could cut $100 million from the budget by ending earmarks. Well, problem with that is, there were only about 50 or 60 billion dollars in earmarks even approved last year. That doesn't add up.
Furthermore, when you include programs that McCain DOES support, which just so happened to be funded through earmarks, that only leaves about $18 million that he could cut (after subtracting projects that he supports and would presumably fund in some other form).
THERE'S YOUR AD! Present those facts, then end with something like...
"Cutting earmarks is NOT an economic policy, its a political stunt. McCain keeps proving himself right when he says he DOES NOT understand the economy."
I believe with all my heart something like this would be VERY effective. We have to get back to talking about the economy.

PALIN HAS HIRED LOBBYIST TO HELP GET 27 MILLION DOLLARS IN EARMARKS FOR HER TOWN OF 6,700 RESIDENTS YET PALIN SAYS BARACK OBAMA AS ASKED FOR BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN EARMARKS.
FACT BARACK OBAMA HAS ASKED FOR 311 MILLION DOLLARS THAT IS 25 DOLLARS FOR EVERY ILLINOIS RESIDENT, PALIN AS ASKED WASHINGTON FOR 10 TIMES MORE PER CITIZEN.ASKING FOR 198 MILLION THAT'S ABOUT 295 PER CITIZEN. SO ASK YOURSELF IS MCCAIN-PALIN CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN?

Sarah Pailn is good. But is she too good to be true? She seems like the answer to most everything McCain lacks. She even appeals to the "Hillaryites"-those who like Hillary because of who she was and not necessarily her postions.
So here's a scenario I'm trying my darnedest to prevent by voting Obama/Biden:
1. McCain wins by utilizing Palin.
2. Sometime around early December, Palin steps down because of Troopergate and "my constituents in Alaska really need me".
3. Without Palin, McCain needs a new VP, so he gets the person he wanted all along, but knew wouldn't win him the election : Mitt Romney.
In other words, Palin is the bait in a bait and switch that Republicans are becoming notorious for since the early 80's. She's good, but she's fodder as soon as November 5 arrives.
