Lots of problems, yesterday in Bombay.
In the Maharashtra State christians activists organized a manifestation to protest against intimidation Faith Schools are submitted by MNS (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena).
In the heart of hindu nationalism the situation of minority is becoming difficult, and the MNS Party would enter in all Faith Schools because the quality is higher.
The Bombay Catholic Sabha asks for a equal law to protect all Schools Institutes.
In God we trust (and in the help of the International Community)..

The MySpace Age is indicative of the dramatic change in the world we have known, primarily in the way we now relate to one another. This age is characterised by the following: individual expression, technology, communication and connections.
1. The MySpace age is the age of the individual. An age where individual expression is paramount compared to the old age of collective information, suppressed information, information censored by authority and being denied access to it. Emphasis is now on personal profiles, extending one's reach globally to others, instead of just to our extended families, and sharing in a cultural enrichment of artistic, social and literary expressiveness. The blog is now king which gives everyone a voice. People have always wanted to be heard and now there is an instant personal comment and expression on every world event. The ubiquitous blog gauges world opinion through individual utterances, while giving the blogger authority, presence and significance.
Friends,
Thanks to the hard work of patients and doctors across the country, both the U.S. Senate and House passed the bill to stop the 10 percent Medicare payment cuts that took effect on July 1—unfortunately, the President just vetoed this important legislation.Congress can override a veto—so call (888) 434-6200 today and tell your representative and senators to vote to override the President’s veto of H.R. 6331! Or use the link below to send an e-mail—either way, make your voice heard!
I'm concerned about the constant cycle of Medicare cuts to the doctors who treat senior citizens, like my parents. If these cuts go into effect, many doctors may be forced to stop seeing Medicare patients. All patients deserve access to health care, so I sent a message to Congress. You can do the same through the American Medical Association's Patients' Action Network website. Click on http://www.patientsactionnetwork.com to visit their site and send your own message to help preserve this country's health care system. It only takes a minute!
The cult of celebrity has risen in importance at the same time that belief in God, or a higher being has been waning, and television has become more dominant. People have a natural instinct to look to someone for reflection, affirmation and authority: whether a hero, mentor, protector or higher power, and what makes celebrities popular at the moment is exactly what they symbolise and represent, that 'higher' being, with many people turning away from religion.
Celebrities tap into our need to be significant and they realise our dream of freedom, riches and fame - a potent lifestyle combination which many people crave, especially younger ones on the threshold of life. Celebrities these days, especially those emerging from reality shows like American Idol, are usually ordinary people plucked from obscurity to be famous, and that gives many others hope that something similar may happen to them. Now with the Internet and television running a constant stream of celebrity images, news and gossip, people are bombarded daily with a lifestyle many aspire to. The net effect has been a dramatic shift in society regarding values, priorities and aspirations.
Dear Friends,
very interesting, the article I read today about our Obama !
Seems in Us (and Worldwide) folks are speaking about history considering the periods as BB (Before Barack) and AB (After Barack)...
Means naturally that our leader is more than a person who appears for a while in our life...is becoming a truly inspirator of people!
HOPE for the best !
Your friend and supporter from Italy,
A solution to exit from this economic "empasse", in my little opinion, is the verb written by St. Benedict ORA, LEGE ET LABORA; so the cross, the book and the plow nowdays are the praises, the studies and the works.
Without any comparison from the past, the past came again to help us in these difficult moments.
Just focus in these 3 little points...we will discover new frontiers inside us. As the benedectines monks, we will walk through the World with a new infinite light.
Maybe there will be difficulties in the start (so many connections to break !) but I am pretty sure that the light we have inside will help our way, and the way of our fellow.
St. Benedict, The patron of Europe (today is his memorial day) will help us again !
Let's not get this whole thing twisted...this about Barack's quest for the Washington. If anything Jesse Jackson has shown America that Obama has enemies on both sides of the fence because his ideas of Change will allow for leaders of any race to continue the blame game. I think Jesse Jackson was offended by Obama'a father's day speech because the shoe fit. WE shouldn't allow an ignorant statement to take foucs from the task at hand. Jesse Jackson had his time in the lime light many years ago. So let's just let it go. This about CHANGE. Let's stay FIRED UP & READY TO ROLL!!!
Hope, peace, and change,
Charlene
I think I can speak for many people when I say thay Barack Obama is an awesome speaker. I saw him in person for the first time. His speech and answers to question only further solidify my support for his campaign. I even got to shake his hand. VA should be fired up!! We have not been a blue state since 1965...time for change!!
BARACK THE VOTE!!!
Hope, peace, and change!!

Prejudice is a natural by-product of making choices in life. We are presented with a diversity of choice daily, from which we are required to select what matters to us most, what we like best, the things which keep us in our comfort zones and anything that enhances us the most, while resisting the rest. From choosing a partner to choosing a fashionable item, we are exercising the prejudice of accepting one thing while rejecting another. So we are all guilty of exercising prejudice in some form and we all have our prejudices relating to lifestyle and culture.
