I have had the opportunity to work for President-Elect-Obama in two States, Tennessee and Indiana. On November 4, although I voted in Tennessee, I have been working for the last year
and half in Indiana. The county and city and state of my youth went blue for the first time in
40 years! Thanks to everyone who helped in this effort.
Thank God, the community organizer is now the country organizer!
We are in for prosperity, progress and patriotism.
Yes indeed.
God bless USA
God bless Obama
The 44th president of the United States will take office in an uncertain and dangerous time for this country. The challenges we face both overseas and here at home are complex and unfamiliar, and the road ahead is likely to be very different from the road we have traveled to get here.
Leading the country in such a time will require someone of intellect, creativity, honesty and passion for those traits that have made America great. That person is U.S. Sen. Barack Obama.

God bless Obama & Biden
Just made a small donation to Obama's campaign. Can't relax yet.
I've been counting yard signs & bumper stickers as I travel around central Indiana the past couple of weeks. Right now my count is Obama 116 to McCain 56. I know it is totally unscientific, but if still feels good to have Obama ahead of McCain 2 to 1.
Finally, my husband & I went down to the courthouse yesterday and voted. We were in & out in about 15 minutes. We went at lunchtime. It was easy. The election room is on the 2nd floor of the courthouse. I encourage everyone to vote early.

I go to Carey's Barbershop - Oh ,probably on average 3 times a day.
We do service projects, voter registration, visibility, events in the neighborhood.
Birthday celebration for Obama was there- Customers, young people senior citizens, from
a local "snap" exercise group stopped by. All in all groups of people who would not normally
be in the same room. (Such Fun and of Course Information). Well this blog is not about
that day. There is a life sized 6'2" cut out of Obama. Red, White & Blue Americana items.
The walls ,door and windows are covered with Obama Items.
There is a glass container with Life Savers and a sign in Red and
White that states: O is for Obama, He is a life saver and will be a breath of fresh air in the
white house. If I am there and kids get the life saver I ask them to read it the sign.
Thomas Carey, The owner for 40 years and barber told me that a little boy was about to
get his hair cut but had brought in some change so that he could give a donation for
Obama. That made my day. Maybe all I am trying do here is to say Thank you, to
Thomas Carey who allows us to use his shop while he is trying to run his business! To
provide space where an 8 year olds feel connected to this campaign and feels he must
contribute. Thanks to everyone else who has a "place" in which they support Senator
Obama in a local community.
This time there were about 50 women present Hillary and Obama supporters. It feels to me
now that we are all supporters of the nominee of our Party. We have a network of womennow in Muncie.Delaware County. Some of the women are in overlapping groups such as moveon.org
Local women's groups.
I am just tired of the McCain’s campaign accusing Obama without substantiating the facts of their ads and campaign of calumny and maliciousness against him. On the other hand, Obama has continued to meticulously and articulately hammers McCain on issues of national concern and all we get from the McCain’s is a dogmatic and archaic mentality of reciprocating by denigrating and fallaciously accusing Obama of distortions.
How does McCain respond to the fact that he had voted and is indeed in support of the privatization of social security? As Obama rightly pointed out in Florida, let to McCain the Millions of dollars accruing as benefit for those who had earned it may as well be down the drain as a sequel to the near collapse of the financial market.
Read Obama hammers McCain on Social Security by visiting the link below:

In his zeal to present to the people of this country his maverick nature- which in reality may be synonymous to the stubbornness and pigheadedness that we have often seen in the fading Washington that he has been part of for close to three decades, McCain has as a matter of fact catapulted his mediocrity to such an alarming peak in context of his economic articulations and understanding that I believe the country will not be able to find any logical excuses to return the Republican Party back to office again.
This was on my son's blog and I wanted to share this with Obama's folks........what do you think of this?????
This is the second story that has came out recently in regards to the distance the Obama campaign has kept with the Muslim community. After his fierce denials about being a Muslim and then repeatedly deciding against appearing at mosques, while finding time to attend churches and synagogues, some of his Muslim followers have began to feel unwanted.
However, Obama's arms reach strategy is not exclusive to Muslims. The latino community is starting to express the same frustrations. Last week, the LA Times ran an article about the cautious approach the Obama campaign is taking while pursuing the black vote.
I see this as a clear political strategy to avoid alienating any potential white voters. Although he is up by a substantial margin, his campaign is handling his white voting block very fragilely. The indication is that their loyalty is very precarious and can blow up at any time. The only minority he can aggressively pursue without negative political repercussions is the Jewish community.
Some folks wondered why he didn't campaign harder in Philadelphia during the Pennsylvania primary. While in Indiana, he avoided Gary and Lake County. That area contains over 100,000 residents and is more than 90% African American. Many Hoosiers noted that he probably would have won Indiana, and therefore ended the primary sooner if he would have won the county by the margin that he won other heavy African American districts. He lost Indiana by less than 2%.
I hope everyone is aware of the tactics the republicans will use to discredit votes from seniors and anyone who cannot drive or does not possess a driver's license.

Just back from the DNC in Denver. Lot's of great strategies. Great Obama Energy.
More details later. Local people were great ambassadors for their city!
Words are not enough to express what happen yesterday in Denver before, during and after Sen. Obama accepted the Democratic Party nomination as the presidential flag bearer of the people of America .
Many have said he made history by becoming the first minority candidate to win the nomination of a major political party in the country. While this may be true and some of us have seen it coming, it is also a fact that it was not Obama that made history, rather history made Obama.
What an awesome day in the annals of the country, when the entire world stood still to pay respect to the country, Obama and Biden and all Americans that have helped made yesterday a reality.
Even though my kids may not appreciate what happened on this night considering their age- 6 years and below, I am nevertheless absolutely delighted in their partaking in our celebration. Somehow these kids understood within the spiritual and emotional connection that daddy and mummy were just very happy and as such they join us in celebrating a historic moment indeed.
My family and I want to say a big thank you to all Americans of all color, race, nationalities, convictions, ideologies and greed for making August 28th 2008 yet another historic day in the country- a day in which humanity relentlessly and aggressively restore the pride, image and respect of mankind. Days that say the emergence of a dream become a reality, in which we are all partakers.
I am honored, my family is honored and my race, faith and convictions are honored with the turn of events that resulted in Sen. Obama becoming the presidential nominee of the Democratic Party in the country.
The Republican Party has never shied away from their exploitation of all maxims “by all means possible” including resorting to the propagation and orchestration of the negative campaigning syndrome. While these might have worked in the past, the prevailing circumstances and coupled with the degree of enlightenment that the average person have been bless with in the current political dispensation, the benefit of an exclusively inclined negative campaigning may be very limited with an apparent sensationalism that may not stand the test of time needed to make an impact on the political landscape.
At times one may be tempted to conclude that the humane and objective campaign inclination of Sen. Obama may not create the necessary impacted needed to paint McCain and cohort as what they really are, however on the contrary I do believe and have faith in the positivism that the Democratic Party flag bearer has continued to propagate even in the face of opposition from some of us that may feel he is too soft on McCain.
My father used to tell me that “never argue with a fool for many might not notice the difference.” In other words, while it may be apparently beneficial to attack McCain with all forms of negativity as he has been doing to Obama since the inception of the current dispensation; at the long run we do not want the world to count Obama in the same stratum as McCain.
The world has stood and watched with disbelief the recent recognition granted the region of South Ossetia and Abkhazia by the Russian federation in which the later claimed was the only logical thing to do in the face of the militarism tactics adopted by the state of Georgia to forcefully take control of its separatist regions.
While this development might not have come as a surprise, it is however least anticipated at this time, since Russia has until now hesitated in recognizing these two states that have been under self-rule since the 1990’s war.
The implications of such move by Russia are not far fetched; deterioration in relation between the West and their Eastern block giant partner. Furthermore the region will even become more volatile than it was prior to the unfortunate misapplication of military force by the Georgian President, which state became independent of Russia without a fight.
Nevertheless the kind of implications I am inferring to at this juncture be mostly tailored to the inclinations and perception of the two presidential candidates in the USA under the prevailing dispensation. While Sen. Obama’s approach of thorough, concrete and aggressively diplomacy could have clearly avoided this inimical and detrimental situation in the Caucus region, McCain unfortunately have the same mentality as the Georgian president in that he is obsessed with militarism and unilateralism.

Thank you Sen. Clinton for defying all conventional and dogmatic mentality and instead propagating and orchestrating an entirely broadminded, tolerant and exceptionally objective campaign geared toward the candidacy of Sen. Obama.
Without doubt, those pessimists will be shock to their bone marrow at witnessing your game changing and absolutely nationalistic and patriotic sentiments in supporting Obama for the sake of posterity and the country’s well being.
In reality it is evident that Obama is the only one sincerely and articulately committed to changing the course of the nation domestically and also internationally in order to reposition the United States of America in a way that it can quickly and pragmatically realize the goal of leading the world in globalization of the campaign for peace, diplomacy, fight against terrorism and poverty.
Moreover the manifesto of Sen. Obama is completely different from the traditional style of his rival which rely almost exclusively on maintaining the status quo, enhancing the ideologies of the incumbent and aggressively pursuing the culture of deception, distortions and mediocrity, tailor toward confusing the American people, in the event where they cannot be convinced.
It is such a pleasure to see how daily Sen. Clinton has been available to the people of this country in orchestrating the good will message of Sen. Obama which are realistic and does not exhibit the elements that have become so manifest in Washington, namely the culture of loyalty to party rather than the country.

Psalm 85:10 Righteousness and peace have kissed each other
The kingdom of God is not meat and drink but righteouness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Everyone is not going to agree with everyone's interpretation of the Bible because our introduction, orientation and experiences with God are not the same.
If the arts (music, dance, theater and song) can come together, kiss and become a masterpeace, why is it, that people of different faiths and beliefs (as long as we are not trying to destroy one another) can't come together for the common good?
The attributes of God are holy, righteous and pure. No one can confess to be equal with God because all have sinned and fallen short.
If you are a person against abortion, that is your right. If you are a person for abortion, that is your right.
If this country was truly founded on the Word of God, slavery, racism, sexism, prejudice would not be a part of our government. But they are. The constitution and the Bill of Rights would include language that discriminate against the rights of those people leaders do not like.
So, if we are going to be against sin, let's be against all sin including the works of the flesh like hatred, jealousy, envy, sedition and pride. Not just whether or not it is a sin to be for abortion.
Let's storm the White House for laws against two people living together in common law and not just same sex unions. Because God hates all of it. But God does not hate the person.
I believe some Christians have allowed their zeal for God to cloud their judgment of who God is. Let God arise and scatter the enemies that come against the people of God not because of sin but because of some sense of superiority.
Let the power of God bring those to repentence who need to be brought to repentence. Let the righteousness of God judge us all. Not to damnation but bring peace to our hearts.
Their is more that unites us, then divides us. Let's not miss the bigger picture.
