Looking for campaign literature

I would like to add to my collection of campaign literature of Barack Obama's. I am lucky enough to have some from Illinois Senate race, Iowa, Texas, Indiana......

I have supported Barack from day one and try to read everything about him. I am really liking the new book out Obama from Promise to Power by David Mendell, truly an amazing read. Also the video I picked up from Blockbuster Obama Who is this man.. I have met the short haired lady in it, Roberta aka. swimmer in MYBO world, she is from my area and I love her stories of her extra hardworking volunteerism for Barack, which is her first comment in this video... being in Iowa very early on Barack has remembered her, even after meeting hundreds of thousands of people., I Hope he has a job for her in the education dept in D.C. after Jan.20.

I am hoping to pick up some used mailings or door pamplet's from around the country as souveniers, I am getting permission to "pack rat" these items.

Anyone who is willing to mail me campaing literature from across the country pl'=ease email me or message me via my MYBO page.

How many emails did you receive implying or stating outright, that "Obama is a secret Muslim sent to infiltrate our government and destroy our country"?

I don't know about you, but I lost count.

Now, how many of the same people that forwarded those emails are going to vote for the McCain-Palin ticket?

How ironic, that they may turn out to be the voters putting a "Manchurian Candidate" into the White House.

Palin, was a long time member of the Alaska Independence Party. Just taking a gander at the name of her recent political affiliation, what do you think the primary goal of the Alaska Independence Party was?

I pointed this out to a coworker over lunch, here in LA (Lower Alabama), he replied "Hey, that's a positive. I am from a secessionist state."

And so we come to the true goal of the GOP.

C-Span book tour

C-span had the Obama Nation book author on today, Big fight ahead folks, gear up with the truth and let us borrow some of Obama's calm, cool and collective characteristic and fight this smoothly.

The author is using the fact that we are attacking this book right off the get-go because of its legitimateness(sp) .

The author also threatened to publish hatemail and emails from what he was saying was illiterate, uneducated supporters of Obama (stilll stiring up the pot, he is!).

I for ONE am not afraid of an Obama Nation, I for ONE am not afraid of Obama standing up for anyone. What I see and like about Obama is that he GETs IT! Obama's experience as well as family innate intelligence that PEOPLE are PEOPLE is a fairly simple belief. The R's are losing IT right now, pure desperation to bring together a majority.

Obama has represented his constituents over his carreer, nothing wrong with that, and I believe he will continue to do so as the President of the U.S.A..

Good reading book??

I saw this author on c-span book tour this weekend and thought this book might be good reading for us Obama supporters.

The media are fully buying into Rove's campaign to define Obama as effete, elitist, and arrogant. And we are playing along!

College student reminder (fwd to all)

IMPORTANT REMINDER: College students

We have to remind all college students that IF they are away from home attending college on election day, that they must be registered to vote at THEIR LEGAL RESIDENCES.

If they still are registered at home, THEY MUST OBTAIN an absentee ballot and mail it EARLY to their home state. A first class stamp is required.

IF THEY NOW LEGALLY RESIDE IN THE STATE OF THEIR COLLEGE, they have to change their voter registration to their current address (away at college) BY FILLING OUT A NEW VOTER REGISTRATION APPLICATION and *** RENEWING THEIR DRIVER'S LICENSE WITH THEIR NEW ADDRESS.

***Driver's License ADDRESS changes, in SOME states, MAY not be necessary. PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR INDIVIDUAL STATE.

A lot of college students wait until the last minute to make the necessary changes and consequently are unable to vote.

Please pass this along to all college age students.

How Obama's most Fervent Supporters can Become the Campaign's Worst Enemies

There is a point where enthusiasm turns into idolatry.
There is a point where feverish support becomes unreasoning, narrow-minded idiocy.
To win an election, the candidate must get more votes than the opposing candidate.
No matter how much I admire and support Barack Obama, my vote is equal in value to the person who votes for Obama because they think he "has a nice smile", or because they just hate McCain.
If I drive one person to vote for McCain, then I have negated my vote for Obama.
Many of Obama's supporters are frustrated with his intention to vote for FISA. But should we go and vote for McCain? I hope not!
But according to one ardent Obama supporter, "Doris 'Hussein' from MD", we should go vote for McCain!
Yesterday, another Obama supporter wrote a comment critical of Obama's FISA support. Doris "Hussein" from MD" replied "Go vote for McCain!"
When I sent a personal message to Doris, saying this wasn't very smart political tactics, she replied: "I didn't read your trash. Go vote for McCain!"
McCain doesn't have a better ally on this site than "Doris 'Hussein' from MD."
With a few more ardent supporters like this, Obama's campaign could be in serious trouble.
So I beg of my fellow Obama "Supporters," if you really want to see us win in 2008, don't be like Doris. Obama needs our votes, don't drive anyone away!!!

Progressives are Turning Off

Barack Obama appears to be tacking to the center in typical Democratic triangulation.
This move to the center, if continued, will end up sapping enthusiasm on the left.
When Arianna Huffington, Keith Olbermann, and Markos Moulitsos are simultaneously expressing their displeasure, Mr. Obama needs to pay attention.
The Progressive arm of the Democratic Party played an out-sized role in Democratic victories in 2006.
The Progressive community lined up solidly behind Barack Obama in his quest for the Democratic nomination. Without us, Hillary would be the nominee.
Arianna makes a strong case for why losers move to the center (Gore & Kerry), and Barack Obama is not a loser, so don't go that way!
The Progressive community will not get 100% of our agenda acted upon, but capitulating on FISA was a severe disappointment.
The right is castigating Obama for "flip-flopping" on FISA, and the left is severely disappointed for the same reason.
Stand up for General Wesley Clark, he was standing up for you.
Locate that backbone Senator. We need it in November. Hell, we need it right now!
I have a lot of feral hog that we need to cook at our ongoing series of "Feral Hog Barbeques for Obama!" It takes enthusiasm to plan, sponsor, and hold these events. Your tacking to the center detracts from our enthusiasm and optimism. Progressives will vote for you, no matter what. But there will be fewer events, fewer volunteers, and fewer donations if you continue down this path.
Don't be scared of the Right. They are just bullies that have no idea what to do when someone actually stands up to them.
Fight back. Don't compromise. And we'll win big in November.

I have been reading a few articles lately about the VP rumors and have come to this awesome conclusion. Beyond the list, let us look at who is helping pick this person...............

Caroline Kennedy

WoW, I just am not sure that she has participated in government before (???)

Other than the award she gives out, I just don't recall any actual government involvement.

A local musuem has her dolls on display right now, I am going to go this summer.

I am not trying to lessen her ability, I actually think it adds to Barack message that Washington needs fixed and fixing it doesn't necessarily involve Washington experience.

Just thinking..

Hmm... I think I heard Barack swear that he would take money out of politics, because he believes you cannot ignore the money you receive from someone and make an independent decision to the best of your ability without influence from that money (IN SHORT)... So NO Federal lobbyist...

No PAC's, just individual people giving what they can...

And if they want they can join his grass roots campaign and be a grass roots bundler, just simply ask people to donate and have them fill out form or go online to store or any donation page and GiVE GIVE GIVE

I truly think it is sad we have to buy back our government , but I think we do and We WILL!

P.S. I applaud Barack's boldness when taking the nomination and declaring the DNC run the same way his campaign does.
