Check out this very short video. It is OB at his best, a month ago, predicting you exactly what the goopers are doing now.the man is one smart dude.http://andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com/the_daily_dish/2008/10/prescience.htmlFired UP, Ready to GO.
Patriots,We have 6000 phone calls to make at my phone bank Saturday and Sunday. Nevada voters, dialing you up in 22 hours.
John Mcsame is so used to saying he was a prisoner of war as the answer to almost any question, that he has gotten confused about when it makes sense and when it doesnt.
Or maybe, it is just that he uses the words "prisoner" and "my friends" so often that his synapses are just overloaded and failing him.
Check out this campaign appearance where the be addresses the crowd as "my fellow prisoners."

At least, they don't say "Maverick" anymore after the response to the Palin debate, where voters made clear that term has jumped the shark.
As OB pulls ahead in Gallup 51-42% and he begins opening leads and widening margins in WI, NH, NV and other places, it is good to remember that you need to think about it like a basketball game; it aint over in the middle of the fourth quarter. And, it aint a soccer game either, so there is not stoppage time--which would have had HHH beat Nixon in 1968.You gotta be ahead at the buzzer.
But BIG MO is a very good thing.
All that being said, there is always the Supreme Court--which makes it own rules and can erase or extend the clock.
I had a wonderful experience today that illustrates what an amazing and effective network Barack has built nationwide.
I got a phone call from a woman in Georgia, asking if I could help her son vote.
Her son is crew on a cruise ship that docks in my town, San Pedro, CA., every week but his absentee ballot from Georgia is at his house there. She couldnt find an address to reach out to him and the company that runs the cruise line was not helpful either.
What did she do? She got on the Obama website and did a zipcode search for an event in San Pedro. She found the phone banks I am running and also my phone number. She called my up and bingo--another vote for Barack, and a new friendship for me. He docks this weekend and like my wife, he is a theater performer, doing Second City shows on the cruise ship.
Fired UP. Ready To GO!!!!!!!
We are making a music video to Get Out the Vote for Obama and give the people of Los Angeles an opportunity to have their voices heard.
The theme of the music video is that with Individual Voices coming together we can inspire people to overcome fear and take action for a better tomorrow. The music video will feature citizens of LA holding homemade signs saying what HOPE, PEACE or CHANGE means to them.
We have an amazing song that has been produced by a grammy-winning producer and an experienced team of film makers.
We need VOLUNTEERS who would like to participate in this community effort.
Please email us at yesyoucanvideo@yahoo.com if you:
With the election coming up, we need to move on this fast. So please get back to us by Sunday, Oct 5th at 8pm. YesYouCanVideo@yahoo.com
THANK YOU!
How Cuba will determine the 2008 Election.
Whether you are pro-Cuba or anti-Cuba, the debate may continue for centuries. One thing is certain. The nearly fifty year old, U.S. Embargo on Cuba has not worked, does not work and will not work. In stating so, we are not acknowledging, supporting or condoning Cuba’s current government.
We are saying it’s time for some of America’s voters, politicians and media to evolve with Cuba, perhaps more than any other issue. It could be said; how politicians act and vote towards the five decade old failed U.S. policies with Cuba is a clear reflection on their character.
We are saying that continuing the anti Cuba embargo policies is a clear reflection of a persons character. Whether running for President of the United States, Senate, Congress or any government leadership position; a person should demonstrated the ability to change course, try new directions and see different points of view. Especially if the policy they supported has failed for fifty years.
The anti-Cuba politicians, lobby and community is a small percentage of all populations, including the Cuban population itself. Yet the anti-Cuba movement has controlled the presidency of the United States and both political houses; including this elections Republican candidate John McCain for nearly fifty years. John McCain is anti-Cuba, while Barack Obama is pro-Cuba.
Why would any politician, business person and human continue enforcing on themselves, and worse others; a failed Cuba policy that the majority of people in America, the world and mostly the island of Cuba itself do not want? See the Election 08 FREE CUBA FILM SERIES and you will find out.
Then it’s up to you to decide when you cast your vote on “Election Moment”, if you are voting for character.
Election moment is the truest moment in any election when you, the voter stand there in the privacy of your own mind right before you vote. Only you will know if you cast a vote for character, and only you can determine the issues that reflect a person’s character. Cuba is one of those clear character issues.
Election 08 FREE CUBA FILM SERIES, is committed to bring the real Cuba to America. We’ve selected three diverse films that provide audiences with a modern day love story set in Havana, Cuba. A film that gives you a glimpse into the future with the childhood version of The Buena Vista Club, and lastly, an impacting documentary that brings to life, the hidden true history of Cuban terrorism, the U.S. Politicians directly related to Fidel Castro who continued to master mind the anti Cuba movement in the U.S. and the political families who continue to enforce their historically failed policies against Cuba on the world through violence, economics and political warfare.
Will you vote for a person who is pro-Cuba and promises to create a powerful future for America uniting the world.
Or will you vote for a person who is anti-Cuba and promises to bend history to make sure America stays the current course isolating the world.
Only you will know on your “Election Moment.”

California State Senator Carole Migden is asking for opinions on how she should vote as a superdelegate. In a Superdelegate Forum on her website, Carole is giving people a chance to persuade her on how to cast her superdelegate vote. She is asking for comments on this question:"Should a superdelegate cast his or her ballot for the candidate who wins the most pledged delegates nationally through primaries and caucuses or for the candidate they think would make the best President?"

Greetings Fellow Precinct Captains and Supporters,
We have come along way created a lot of momentum with our nationwide wins, Hurray! But there is still much work too do to win this Campaign for Barack Obama, our families, our future, our communities, our country and of course ourselves. Never have the stakes been higher. We need to win Hawaii, Wisconsin, Texas and Ohio these states and keep our momentum going. Please keep making phone calls to these states. Enlist your friends, families, colleagues and neighbors to spread the word and go to the phones and call voters in these upcoming states. Its fun its easy and it works to spread the word about Barack Obama's his vision, his plans to unite and revitalize this great country of ours.
People need to hear that this is not just talk this is a experienced effective Senator who united legislators in both the Illinois Senate and the U.S. Senate to get meaningful legislation passed. They need to hear that Barack is not just a politician he is a States person who has already stood up for issues that were unpopular and definitely not in his best political interest( such as the war in Iraq). Barack Obama stood up to try and prevent this misguided legislation from becoming law he stood up to protect our great country. He knew that the country and his state needed to hear why this war was a mistake, and why the Congress, both the House and Senate, of the United States needed to exercise their constitutional duties to declare war only when and if it was time to enter into actual combat. He expressed his convictions in a clear positive message reaching across the political spectrum he explained how it would damage us as a nation, and because of his sincerity and the clarity of his vision, the people of Illinois went on to vote him into the United States Senate.
We have the strongest, most brilliant candidate in Barack Obama who has presented a blue print to revitalize this country a blue print that leaves nobody behind, allows us to give our children and grand children the gift of a world class education. We have a candidate that will bring our service persons, the men and women that have served so faithfully in Iraq and other parts of the world. When they get home they will need help as they leave combat mission and rejoin civilian life they will need good jobs to support their families, education to better their lives, the lives of their families and their communities. There will be other challenges such as the hundreds of thousands of workers that provided support to the troops keeping the supplies of food, materials, and training and technical support to the Iraqi's. We have many challenges to overcome in order to take back this great country of ours and we only have one leader that can surmount the challenges and unite us all behind the causes that we face in our life and that person is Barack Obama.
There is something more about the Iraq war vote you should consider and please do not go negative by telling a voter this information it will be bad enough when John McCain presses this point if Senator Hillary Clinton is our candidate in the fall. This vote turned the House and Senate's constitutional war power duties to the President this is not his job. This President has expressed his belief he has the authority to attack other countries under this authorization. I am not suggesting that you go negative please please please don't! We do not need any mud slinging to win. I want us to keep in the back of our minds the urgency which we face in recapturing the White house. The Republican candidates are not going to be kind this fall and they are going to pull off the gloves, pull out all stops, and present every negative aspect that they can to split up and shake our voting base, damage the credibility of our Presidential candidate once chosen. They will attempt to energize the conservative base that they have so artfully been able to bring to the polls and vote with them every presidential cycle. They did this to Al Gore and John Kerry, Senator Clinton shares much of Senator Kerry's voting record which brought him down and cost us the White House 4 years ago.
We have put out to the voters of the Democratic Party the best slate of candidates that I can ever remember and it is breathtakingly refreshing that they are all such shining stars, but one star shines above them all and that is Barack Obama. Senator Obama is a person who eclipses all of them with wisdom that allows him to unite everybody across the political spectrum around the common problems that face all of us in our everyday life. Let's energize our base make the calls to take Wisconsin, Hawaii, Texas and Ohio.
Peace, Daniel Lewislewis_daniel@dslextreme.com323-564-5249 Lets take back America! If we all work together and believe inourselves. We can. We will.Barack Obama has proved himself a worthy person to lead our nationthrough his actions, deeds and EXPERIENCE!!!
Today was truly an historical event not just in my live but in the lives of so many americans that have lived before me. Americans that have struggled with the basic civil liberties that were prescribed in our constitution. People like the 93 year old asian women who spoke at the rally today in UCLA's Pauley Pavillion. She spoke of the times that she lived through where blacks and women weren't granted the common rights that so many of us can take for granted. She talked of a struggle and movement that were headed by so many strong individuals that never lived to see what her and I were so lucky to experience today in Westwood. Powerful women speaking out about the bright possiblities of America's future. Black women and white women standing together on the precipice of either a black man or a women securing the nomination for the democratic party. And all she wanted to say was how proud she was to be there to experience it, and be a part of something very special.
I watched women like Caroline Kennedy, daughter of great leader, Oprah Winfrey, a great leader in her own right, and Michelle Obama, the wife of one of the greatest men I have ever heard speak. They were there united to speak about the great positive possiblities that lie ahead when we unite behind a great man like Barack Obama. I listened intently and hung on every word. The buzz n that pavillion was electric and I was overwhelmed with the unity and hope that we all seemed to be experiencing. And if that wasn't enough, Michelle Obama had a suprise guest speaker that hadn't even realized she would be speaking when she woke up this morning. You could tell by the casual wardrobe she was wearing and the little to no makeup that she hadn't prepared any speech or planned on speaking at all, but I tell you that no one that day was admired by the thousands in Pauley Pavillion more than the first lady of California, Mrs. Maria Shriver. And when she stepped out onto that narrow black walkway I finally knew in my heart of hearts that California was going to go for Obama. The momentum is stronger than ever and the truth is ringing loud to more and more people everyday. That day all the women who spoke agreed that true change has always and will always start within ourselves. It starts inside of 93 year old asian women and 25 year old caucasian men. It all starts with all of us. Yes we can! Yes we can!
