We supporters need to speak out now, especially those of us who are black! Wright is on a destructive path and is hell bent on undermining Barack's bid for the White House.
As a black woman, I was appalled by Wright's performance at the NAACP Dinner that aired worldwide on both CNN and Fox News on Sunday evening. Coming from a family deeply rooted in the black church, I have been saddened by the statements and view of the black church that Wright and some members of the black clergy have casted. Their views are NOT shared by majority of black Americans like myself. We have been outraged at Wright and others who use God and faith to go from advocating for civil rights and social issues to preaching hate, division and colorism. His charactures of JFK, black people singing and dancing, and acting like a fool were an outrage to say the least! I for one was mad as hell!
As a young black woman in this country who is working hard to buck stereotypes, his performance only aids in making us as black people look unprofessional, racist and foolish! Barack and this campaign is about unity, positive activism and social change. Not the racist cynicism the that Wright is preaching. Wright is out to build his own notoriety and financial gain at the cost of this campaign and the much needed change Obama seeks to bring. Its a shame to see another black person working so hard to bring another down! We MUST TAKE ACTION to stop Wright and his buffoonery by speaking out in blogs on CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, BBC America, PBS and talk radio, before more damage is done!
Sincerely,
Carla Mays, MPA

Obama's National Arts Policy Committee will be distributing the campaign's official arts policy platform to the Indiana and North Carolina arts community in order to cultivate a base of arts voters before the fast approaching primary. Obama is committed to the arts, and it's important we, as writers, artists, performers, and musicians, do our part to help win these importnat states!
Do you know any arts professionals in these states? Write me at obamaarts@gmail.com to get a pdf of the platform and a letter from our committee chairs, Margo Lions and George Stevens, Jr., to send out to your personal contacts. Or send me email and professional affiliations of people you know working in the Pennsylvania art community and we will send those documents out to your contacts. Any emails submitted will be kept private will only be used to send the official letter and policy document.
See my profile picture? It is of a beautiful banner designed for our Los Angeles Nation for Change Rally by San Jose based Meezy Art. It is printed on durable vinyl, 45 inches x 30 inches, and has a small hole punched in each corner for hanging.
I will ship it for free to the first person who donates $150.00 to the campaign through my personal fundraising page on my.barackobama.com. Here's the link: http://my.barackobama.com/page/outreach/view/main/HotChocolate
Email me now at hannah.flanagan@gmail.com for a full-sized picture of the banner or to find out if it's still available. First come, first served.
As a party we should all be concerned. With each day that passes our chances and probability of winning in Nov. diminishes. Issues like "bitter-gate" are a prime example. There is no reason that story deserved the attention it received. If every word that Hillary said in private were scrutinized th public would be appauled. What the Clinton campaign did by sensationalizing a non-story is reprehensable and should not go overlooked.
Like it or not, right now we are in the midst of an 'party civial war'. Barack Obama has won more states, more delegates, and more popular votes. Those facts are likly to stay the same through June 3rd. If I had to guess, but check with Vegas, the odds of HRC overtaking Barack in popular votes has to be less then 20%. She has exactly 0% chance of overtaking him in states won or democratic delegates.
So now I posit a question. Of the two candidates has a better chance of uniting the Party? Please consider, Hillary has burned bridges with one of the most influential voting blocks in the Party, Moveon.org. Still further nominating Hillary. in spite of trailing in states won, pledged delegates, and popular vote would create a tremendous dielema AKA the "perception" that party insiders stole the nomination from the only viable African American candidate in American History.
It's nice and good that this nominating process was longer then usual. It sharpened Barack's diverse cataloge of skill sets. He is a far better debater, particularly when a Clinton advisor is not moderating it. He is acustom to Republican-esk attacks, the Clintons have resorted to them since New Hampshire. At the end of the conversation, party infighting is increasingly diminishing our chances in Nov.
For the good of the party please endorse who you believe has the best chance and opportunity to unite The Democratic Party in the short 6 months we have untill Nov.
Thank you for reading this and please forward these sentiments.
Kindly,
Tim
Ed Rendell has been a force in PA politics for over 3 decades now. He is someone who is far more familiar with how systems and elections are processed in this state then our campaign and campaign lawyers. If we are serious about winning PA we need to be aware that highly unethical and illegal tactics will be attempted and employed in trying to secure HRC a 4-9% win here in PA and Ed Rendell a shot at the VP. We need to alert all agencies and departments that could potentially influence PAs primary, that they are being documented and watched extraordinarily closely. Unfortunately workers in these offices and departments are extremely loyal to Rendell and his cause, being that they are employed by his Gov't. We need to be beyond vigilant in terms of insuring a fair and equitable election in PA. It's NOT going to simply happen that way. PA was recently ranked 3rd most susceptible to election tampering (blackboxvoting.org). Ed Rendell has the potential to be the Katherine Harris of PA. Let’s do what we can to make sure that doesn’t happen.
Email Ed Rendell and demand a transparent process here in PA. Let him and all of his Gov't we, the people are watching very close.
Thanks,
PS -- If you watch Meet the Press from this week, it's creepy how sure PA he is that HRC will win by %4-9.
Attention Obama community,
After 2 weeks of consistant canvassing, I am pleased to report we are making signifigant inroads against the Clinton Machine here. A substantial block of voters have moved from favoring Clinton to undecided, many leaning Obama or strong Obama backers after I speak with them.
I have found a highly effective tactic for communicating with the undecided demographic. Here it is, both candidates are very similar on the issues. There is however one issue where there is clear seperation, ethics and transparency. Now more then ever we need a role model for America, someone who young people can look up to and respect. Hillary Clinton simply is not that person. Take the past couple of weeks as a microcosm of her charactor, Bosnia, etc. HRC, American children all over the Country want to know the difference between misspeaking, and flatly lying.
If we make ethics and transparency the focal point of the campaign down the homestreth I believe we can win the state outright, that's a fact.
I sincerely hope this message gets conveyed to the proper channels. Thanks!
Puerto Rico is very important and we must have a good showing there. This means opening headquarters across the island, providing Spanish campaign materials, supporting Puerto Rican and Hispanic volunteers to come back to the island, and campaigning in the way Puerto Ricans are used to by investing in carvanas and real grassroots efforts. By doing this we can take Puerto Rico's 63 delegates.
Starting late, not providing enough signage, focusing only in the North and not reaching everyone on the island is a winning strategy for helping Hillary win the island. We need to get FIRED UP and get on HQ's open all over the island and help Puerto Ricans to deliver Puerto Rico 63 delegates, but they NEED US to get on it! Especially in the East, West and South of the island! We need to use traditional Puerto Rican campaign strategies like carvanas. It is critical that we get on the ground now and work hard up until the evening of Sunday, June 1st.
This Primary is historic in that Puerto Rico will play a role in the choosing the Democratic nominee. By deliver PR it shows that Barack can win with Hispanic, women and senior citizens. This PR Primary can prove that he can buck this issue. But, that means we must get there and work hard, EARLY!!!! Not the traditional 2 week run in/run out! This DOES NOT WORK with our challlenging voter demographics! We must be more hands on, provide more campaign materials, do more constituency building, learn the Puerto Rican way of campaigning and GET ON THE GROUND NOW ALL OVER THE ISLAND! We have enough money and folks in the campaign to fight in all of the remaining contest equally hard. Coming to PR late, not having a presence all over the island, not having enough signage and not using PR campaign strategies is a WIN FOR BILLARY!
We must encourage the campaign to have Barack circle the island, and stump in Ponce, Humacao, Mayaguez, and Carolina. As well as to have Barack give speeches at the University of Puerto Rico cmapuses and Rio the big stadium at Rio Piedras.
Join us to help Puerto Rico deliver all 63 delegates for Obama. We need YOU to set up Spanish call banks, send Spanish campaign materials to the island, and support volunteers travel and lodging on the island, and the pay for carvanas to canvass the island to get our message out around the island.
With you YES WE CAN IN PUERTO RICO!!!
I saw NO press on what I thought was a brilliant statement by Obama during the Cleveland Debate on health care.
I want to put this out there, because it's WHY we're all fighting for this uniter.
Quote from Cleveland debate
CLINTON: "You know, 15 years ago I tangled with the health insurance industry and the drug companies, and I know it takes a fighter. It takes somebody who will go toe-to-toe with the special interests."
OBAMA: "You know, she mentioned that she is a fighter on health care. And look -- I do not in any way doubt that Senator Clinton genuinely wants to provide health care to all Americans.
What I have said is that the way she approached it back in '93, I think, was wrong in part because she had the view that what's required is simply to fight. And Senator Clinton ended up fighting not just the insurance companies and the drug companies, but also members of her own party. And as a consequence, there were a number of people, like Jim Cooper of Tennessee and Bill Bradley and Pat Moynihan, who were not included in the negotiations. And we had the potential of bringing people together to actually get something done." "But what I also believe is that the only way we are going to actually get this stuff done is, number one, we're going to have to mobilize and inspire the American people so that they're paying attention to what their government is doing. And that's what I've been doing in this campaign, and that's what I will do as president."
This is March 14 and the Senator has been under attack for 48 hours.
Someone has to stand up and stop the racist remarks and put it to bed once and for all. I know how to do it, but don't know how to get to the decision makers of the Senators.
No matter what happens, I want to say God bless you - to you all, for your help and vision. May the force be with you.

Do you have time to help us do some online research? I am looking for a few volunteers to help me do some online research for this big project. We need to find all the arts organizations in Pennsylvania and get emails for the staff of those organizations. We will be working on this right away, but since it's just online research, you can do this from home and at any time of day. If you have some time to help out, please reply back via email to obamaarts@gmail.com.Thanks so much,Shawnee Barton Obama for America Arts Policy Committee Member
There is an untold story the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the media are unaware of. AND WE NEED YOUR HELP TO TELL IT. When this presidential race began, I was content if we just got a democrat in the white house. I was excited to see two historical nominees emerge. Over the last several weeks, however, I have witnessed a disturbing trend. Senator Clinton continuously belittles Senator Obama and his voters. It is fine to draw distinctions between views. It is even okay to point out your opponent's shortcomings and/or failings. However, I have watched interviews time and time again where she suggests individuals who vote for Barack Obama are not focused on the issues or they don't know the issues. She assumes supporters of Barack Obama are voting for him based on his ability to speak eloquently. I know my support for Senator Obama runs deeper than words. As an articulate, college educated woman, who has always been politically aware, it is demeaning and alienating to me as a voter for Senator Clinton to constantly assume otherwise. Her campaign continues to overlook southern and midwestern states as if those voters, those people don't matter. Senator Clinton continues to state only big states and blue states matter. If she does get the nomination, the same voters she continuously dismisses in states she deems as unimportant or the same voters she belittles are the same voters she will need in November to win. My hunch is that there are millions who feel the same way. We are asking that you express your opinions in the form of an email to crystalirby@hotmail.com by THURSDAY, MARCH 13TH. DO NOT SEND YOUR LETTER AS AN ATTACHMENT. WRITE YOUR LETTER IN THE BODY OF THE EMAIL. PLEASE ADDRESS ALL LETTERS TO THE DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL COMMITTEE. We plan to bind the emails in one document and send them to all the major news organization. We will not use any letters that negatively attack or demean Senator Clinton. Please begin the email with a brief biography (occupation, location, marital status, education, age, etc.). REMEMBER this is not about Senator Clinton pointing out where she and Senator Obama differ on the issues. INCLUDE why you are supporting your particular candidate but MOST IMPORTANTLY we ask that you answer this question: How are Senator Clinton's campaign tactics and characterizations of Obama and his campaign's supporters making you FEEL as a voter? How do these feelings affect your vote in November? Again LETTERS THAT NEGATIVELY ATTACK SENATOR CLINTON WILL NOT BE USED!! The letters will be sent to the Democratic National Committee (DNC), all major news organizations, and Senator Clinton. We encourage ALL democrats and democratic supporters, regardless of which canidate you are supporting, to participate in this project. This project is independent of Senator Barack Obama's campaign. It is not sponsored by Senator Barack Obama's campaign, nor it is an official campaign project.PLEASE FORWARD!!!!!!!PLEASE FORWARD!!!!!!!!!!PLEASE FORWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS FOR YOU HELP!

Saw this on the Huffington Post. Hillarious.
Here's an idea for an Obama ad: a montage of Clinton's Sybillish personalities that have surfaced during the campaign with a solemn voiceover at the end saying, "Does anyone want this nut answering the phone?"
How is it that she became the one who's perceived as more equipped to answer that 3 a.m. call than the unflappable Obama? He, with the ice in his veins, who doesn't panic when he's losing or get too giddy when he's winning, who's as comfortable in his own skin as she's uncomfortable in hers. There have been times in this campaign when she seemed so unhinged that I worried she'd actually kill herself if she lost. Every day, she reminds me more and more of Adele H., who also had an obsession that drove her insane.
A few weeks ago, I started to feel sorry for her. Oh Christ, let her win already...Who cares...It's not worth it. There's not that much difference between them. She can have it. Anything to avoid watching her descend into madness. So I switched. I started rooting for her. It wasn't that hard. Compromise comes easy to me. I was on board. And then I saw the ad.
I watched, transfixed, as she took the 3 a.m. call...and I was afraid...very afraid. Suddenly, I realized the last thing this country needs is that woman anywhere near a phone. I don't care if it's 3 a.m. or 10 p.m. or any other time. I don't want her talking to Putin, I don't want her talking to Kim Jong Il, I don't want her talking to my nephew. She needs a long rest. She needs to put on a sarong and some sun block and get away from things for a while, a nice beach somewhere -- somewhere far away, where there are...no phones.
I'm rooting for a women only "Girls' Night Out" style event similar to the one in CA with Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey and Carolyn Kennedy again. I know the workers of Pennsylvania may not want a billionaire saying who's in their best interest, but the WOMEN (who we so desperately need and who have been going for Hillary in droves) will respond to Oprah, the Catholic women to Carolyn Kennedy, and no one who hears Michelle speak - as a wife, mother and professional women will be unmoved.
If anyone out there agrees, please send a message to Michelle Obama on this site.

Below is the link of how you all can get involved and help win in Texas. According to the latest polls, we are catching up fast! But we need to make sure our supporters don't just come to the rallies but actually get out and vote! I will be going there the week before to take care of my precincts and voters, and hopefully many of you will be able to help out as well. Again, you don't have to go, you can help out here by making calls, but please, give whatever little time you have! It all counts!
Let’s Paint the White House Black
In an attempt to gain inner freedom
American dignity and Respect
As long as a rich white man is in charge of us
You’ll never see a change
If you don’t stand to change American Society
You’ll die in vein, brainwashed by The Man
It’s your choice on Tuesday, November 4th
Vote for a man who can only change
The screwed up society The Man still teaches he discovered.
When Indians and Mexicans were already here how could that happen?
America was built on Corruption
Lies and the Sweat of People of Color.
Make a stand for what’s rightfully ours…Justice
He’s making a stand for all we’re worth
We need to have his front & his back
As he walks in the steps of his brother, Jesus
Barack Obama forever!
Let's do this for all of us
Realign the natural order of all things
For a brighter future for all of us; the world over.
Best wishes and hail to our new King
Don't slow down on campaigning for our new President.
Barack Obama Forever!!!
