The USA’s health care system is broken and bankrupting businesses. GM has complained about how health insurance is dragging them down for years, while Japan’s auto companies do not have to deal with this issue directly. We pay more and have the worst outcomes of any modern industrialized nation. NeoCons talk about “free markets,” while insurance corporations tell patients which “preferred provider” physicians they can see, and tell the physicians how many diagnostic and therapeutic procedures they cannot order. And everyone, patients, physicians, and hospitals alike, are begging the insurance system to pay for health care as promised. Yet, if a patient misses an insurance premium payment, the corporation will cancel the policy in a heartbeat.

The Nov. 4th 2008 Election Results was a catch 22 for me, as a black men I was proud of the fact that after all we as American has been through where able to elected the fist black President of America, but as a Gay men I was so disappointed that we as a whole nation took a step backward by banning gay marriage and banning the RIGHTS for not only GAY men and women to adopt but Single, educated, straight men and women to adopt. The FCAC lists three primary reasons for the law: For the safety of children, to increase the number of prospective homes, and to “blunt a homosexual agenda, now I don't know where the FCAC as been for the last hundred years but they should know that you can’t get "it" from standing in the room with a gay person, or talking, living, or befriending a gay person but I can't fault the FCAC they were doing their Job and now it's time for us to do our as a Arkansan I’m not shocked that this law passed but amazed at the double standard while so called Christian Arkansans turn their noses at the gay lifestyle they bathe in hate, incest, and bad fashion. So let this be a warning to all Arkansans who think their better, or more so entitled to rights then others we will not stand for this, we will not go quietly back into the closet, will fight, we will march, we will knock on doors our voices will be heard we will have equal rights for all Americans in a changing America

I have asked several friends in Little Rock to come with me – plus I think my oldest daughter is thinking about coming with me. I really hope she can come. I will try to post every day when I am on the trip for my husband and son plus post photos to my flickr page so they can see where I am and what I am doing. I am very excited to be working for the future of my children and our country. Each time I hear an old speech of Obam's – it brings tears to my eyes now – I must work with everyone else and Obama's team to make this happen. i don't like looking at the national polls. I want to see the win next Wednesday. I don't want to see weeks of delays and a country with worry. My anxiety level can not go much higher. I will work in Missouri for three days – then work in Arkansas on election day. I've taken several vacation days to do some hiking and campaigning – nothing could be better except to see a win next Wednesday.
Please keep all groups in your throughts and prayers.

I will get the ball rolling: here are 10 ways I can help elect Obama. What can you think of?
1%, or 1 vote out of 100There have been 12 Presidential elections that were decided by less than a 1% margin; meaning if less than 1% of the voters in certain states had changed their mind to the other candidate the outcome of the entire election would have been different. More than half were decided by less than a 2% margin.
In 2004, 57,787 votes would have given us President Kerry. In 2000, 269 votes would have given us President GoreIn 1996, 575,515 votes would have given us President Dole.

=========="Squeakers"Ned PotterABC NewsSeptember 29, 2008How close have Presidential elections been? Closer, perhaps, than we ever guessed. Mike Sheppard, a grad student in statistics at Michigan State, has done a mathematical exercise that shows it.He ran a computer program to answer this question: "What is the smallest number of total votes that need to be switched from one candidate to another, and from which states, to affect the outcome of the election?"The answer: in some years, very, very few. Take a look at his analysis HERE. It shows the powerful interaction between the popular vote and the electoral college.[...]==========

After the first debate i realize why Barack Obama will be the next President, Barack showed himself as a steady stream, doing it's job, flowing and keeping the natural balance of things, while John McCain seemed to be an unreliable shower-head in a run down New York apt., "when you turn it on you never know what your going to get".
while Barack come across as strong, confidence and ready, McCain come across as uneasy, not willing to play with others, and frankly as a Liar, my mother always told me "if someone can't look you in the eyes while their talking they are lying" McCain not once looked Barack in the eyes.
On the other hand McCain had many many stories to tell about his 20 something years in service but time and time again Barack was clear and direct challenging McCain record "McCain may have a long record, but is it a record of helping the people" and that reminded me of something i read somewhere "what prophets a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul" ummm that seems to fit McCain's record.
round one goes to Barack Obama!!
The story is all over Progressive Talk Radio today about the McCain campaign sending absentee ballot applications to registered democrats or people that have donated to Obama's campaign. These ballots are deliberately misleading and have postage paid return addresses that are for an election clerk that is outside of your city or town. What this will end up doing is either having your vote not counted, or if you return one of these, they will cite you for election fraud, saying that you already voted absentee. These ballots are only being sent out in 'purple states' and this is a big deal.. This is called voter caging, and is a huge problem. The McCain campaign is stealing this election as we speak. Please get this information out to as many people as you can ,and tell anyone you know who has received one of these ballots that they need to contact their city election clerk or the supervisor of elections immediately. Also call the local media and let them know what is going on. The main stream media is never going to cover this so we have to depend on our ground campaign to get the word out to our voters.

Do you remember when Obama was here in Arkansas the last time? I do! It was October 28, 2006 for the Mike Beebe campgain.
www.waynettephotography.com/yeswecanarkansas/ Please view the link above. It is a short slideshow of images from his last visit.
We need him back in our state. Voice it it now.
I am not sure if you got to see Barack on the Letterman show last night but he was fantastic.

I just posted this video on the DIGG site and really would appreciate you going there and digging it.
I took a swipe at McCain and how his VP pick was strictly a political move and how Barack vetted Joe and made "HIS OWN DECISION".
If we can get enough Diggs on it it will possibly be in the top 10 of the day and everyone will see it.
It would be super exposure for Barack as he commented on the stupid "lipstick on a pig" controversy and made some other great comments on several things. He showed both Humor and also made some great POLITICAL points!
Please take a minute, watch the video and PLEASE go to DIGG.com and digg it. The Republicans have been burrying some of our good stories on the DIGG site so PLEASE help!
