On April 21st, participants will receive an email with a direct link to a special donation page on MYBO specifically for An Obama Minute. This is where you will make your donation.
Specifics:

This event is a celebration of the "Obama factor" that is bringing citizens back into the frame of politics. It’s not politics as usual but an opportunity for voices to be heard. It is a movement because people are moved into action.
REMEMBER, they need thousands of donors, so help spread the word!

Mama, I'm in love
I know he's kind of skinny
But I just can't help it
He is preaching something new.
He is calling every night
And asking me to fight the fight with him for freedom,
It's a dreamy point of view.
He believes in honesty and
Tax cuts for the poor
And I don't think I'm gonna
Lack a leader anymore.
CHORUS:
Barack Obama!
His truth just sets you free
Barack Obama! Mama,
He's the man for me.
The senator from Illinois
Was once a little boy in Honolulu
Pomaika i'no, Kamaha' o (How fortunate, remarkable!)
Was it sunlight on the surf
That showed him what he's really worth
And gave him faith in the audacity of hope
His policy on greehouse gas is
Totally the best
His daddy came from Kenya and his
Mom from the Midwest
(CHORUS)
Mr. Lincoln let me curl up on that Monumental lap
Can you hear me, I am callin' up to you
You might think a girl from Texas could Take pride in recognizing
That the country once again is split in two
But I've been in this red state feelin' blue
Ba-ba-ba-ba, bara-bara, Barack
Oh Mama, did you see him
At that podium in Springfield
He's got eyes that give a worried woman Peace.
And we've been stuck inside a lie that Brought the nation to its knees,
Somewhere in those eyes I see a chance for Our release.
You might say we're young and we can't Handle what's in store
Who else but the young are left to battle Through this war?
CHORUS
Your truth just sets me free
You're the man for me,
Reflect your hope on me,
Project your hope on me.
(Pomaika i'no Kamaha' o!)

Restoring PAYGO. Disclosing earmarks to the public. Cutting pork. Getting serious about those ridiculous no-bid contracts. Eliminating tax-shelters and crazy loopholes for corporations and the ultra-wealthy. Making sure taxes are progressive and fair -- not just a way to rob the poor to feed the rich.
Try to put yourself in Hillary's shoes. She has probably aimed for the presidency since just before or shortly after Bill became president in 1992. She even may have planned to be president as early as kindergarten just like Barack. Just as it appeared inevitable that she would be elected, Barack appeared on the national scene to block her election. How frustrating.
Barack is not the only person affecting Hillary's election. Osama bin Laden played a part in the circumstances surrounding this election. Bill Clinton both brought her closer to the election and by reminding people of his presidency has acted to slow her election. The one person who has done the most to prevent Hillary's election is George W. Bush. If he had been a better president, the usual politics would be acceptable in 2008. However, Bush has been such a bad president that the voters are demanding change and that puts Hillary at a marked disadvantage. Sorry, Hillary, please step aside. This is Barack's moment in history.
Whatever happened to the Southern Nevada for Obama group? Seemed like we were getting things accomplished, then we all ended up having to do one thing or another on our own. I hope everyone else is still having success canvassing. Hopefully Barack will win the nomination, then we can get the group back together to get out the vote.
Please let us not forget that our friends in New Hampshire are very independent. Please do not use IOWA as a case for NH to vote for our candidate. NH friends need to convinced that they are equally part of our cause if not more important. NH friends have their different struggles not the same as Iowans.
To our future President Obama, please make the case with our friends in NH.
Most people saw your speech at IOWA, please make alterations of your speech.. Im watching your speech in Concord, NH .. you do not sound convincing... You seem to hurrying.. take your time... connect. Please do better in NH. So far Concord is not as good.
Best of luck,
alex
I know everyone probably witnessed Senator Obama's victory with 38% of the vote in Iowa, but for those that couldn't or would like to listen again, here it is. It brought tears to our eyes at tonight's caucus watching party in Las Vegas.http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/22496666#22496666
Fire it up New Hampshire, S Carolina, Nevada we're on our way... followed by the rest of the USA to win the nomination.
CONGRATULATIONS to all the hard working volunteers and staff that worked the Iowa Caucus from your friends in Nevada.
If you have a few moments prior to the Iowa Caucus, to watch this inspirational 2 minute video from Senator Obama, on the eve of the Iowa Caucus please do so. It reiterates for me the importance of doing everything that I can to help him get elected as President of the United States. This is truly Barack Obama, the real man at his best and it speaks to my heart. I do believe....

This message was sent from the Nevada Democratic Party. If you live in Nevada, please make sure you get out and caucus for Senator Obama at 11:00 a.m. on January 19th. Look for your caucus location at www.nvdemscaucus.com.
Fellow Democrats and Caucus Supporters,
We have crossed another important hurdle in organizing for our caucus on Saturday, January 19th!
The Nevada Democratic Party has finalized 545 caucus locations statewide to host Nevada’s historic presidential caucus on January 19th. That is more caucus locations in 2008 than there were polling locations in 2006!
Find your caucus location by clicking here: www.nvdemscaucus.com
Some of the caucus locations aren’t your typical polling spots…. An airport, a Cowboy Café, fire stations, a fairground.
But about 75 percent of the locations are in schools, and most others are in public buildings such as community centers, libraries and even a YMCA.
State Chair Jill Derby puts it this way: “No Democrat should have to travel far to caucus on Saturday, January 19th. Finalizing these caucus locations so early shows that Nevada Democrats will be ready to caucus in January, when the eyes of the nation will be on our state. Nevada is ready to make its mark in selecting the next occupant of the White House.”
Please call the Nevada Democratic Party at (702) 737-8683 if you have any questions!
