Sen. Obama right from the onset have opposed the war in Iraq and most importantly too the mindset that took the country to that war. While some of the syndicated media networks continue to portray the war in Iraq as a grand success, the reality on ground is manifesting a contradictory story, which is similar in nature to the “Bosnia Sniper Story’ by Hilary Clinton.
Moreover, it is funny somehow to also notice that Hilary Clinton and John McCain have lots in common, including and not limited to attacking Obama and not each other! Rarely do McCain and Clinton exchange the kind of campaign of calumny they both have on several occasions directed against Obama; so what’s the catch for Americans? Simply put, Hilary and McCain is both beneficiaries of the status quo and including the current administration, unlike Obama, who is seen as an outsider, with no ‘insider’ backing.
It is absolutely true to hold Hilary and McCain responsible for the war in Iraq debacle and also implicates them in so many other failed policies of the past, since these two have been at the nation’s capital for quite a long time, supporting arguments and legislation against the common interest of the people.
Obama’s argument about McCain and Hilary is a fact and not part of the usual campaign rhetoric’s, as we have seen on many occasions. Furthermore, it is also true to point out that the damage the war in Iraq has brought to the country is better imagine than describe. The sequels are evident in the country’s economy and international relationship. Can you begin to imagine the burning of president George Bush edifices in Ukraine, by protesters? What does this kind of action portends for the United States of America?
Pragmatically speaking, Obama and not McCain or Hilary is best position to bring about the kind of turn around the people of this country is hoping for; as his candidacy will amount to a clear signal of the country to reject the status quo policies of militarism, unilateralism, nepotism and actions that contradicts the objective and goal of the USA fight against terrorism, autocracy and poverty.
Hilary and McCain ties to ‘powerful influence’ and ‘lobbyists will make them too vulnerable to manipulations and inability to fulfill their touted campaign promises, unlike Obama, who is completely dependant on the American people for his movement sustainability.
America cannot afford to have another leader, who will assume the White House and propagates, facilitates and enhance the interest of the very few influential people to the detriment of the generality of the people. This time around, let the priority be the people first and foremost and them others can follow.
God bless USA
God bless Obama

Through out the current political dispensation the argument against Obama has been mostly about inexperience on his part at the National level and miscellaneous issues that bothers largely on nonentity when compared to the enormous maladies the country is facing.
Just within a week interval, John McCain has attempted to personify Obama as not having enough experience to lead the United States of America as commander in chief. It is always a pleasure to visualize the fact that, the Republican Party may fundamentally have run out of the type of character assassination and campaign of calumny and debacle the Clintons have been running against Obama for so long in this 2008 presidential race to the White House.
When McCain started talking about Obama’s experience rather than try to articulate his position as the commander in chief; the core textbook style of Republican strategy as enunciated by their strategists, in which the campaign is essentially about how to denigrate an opponent, rather than enlightening the citizenry about his plan for the country, it is evident that he is absolutely conscious of the immense influence Obama have been able to generate among the people of the country.
The good news for the people’s movement for hope and change in the United States of America is the facts that, Americans are tired of the status quo and inimical policy that have painted the country as hypocrite in terms of its quest to propagate freedom, democracy, peace and diplomacy. Obama is an epitome of these virtues and shall lead the country in a different direction culminating in the reclaiming, rejuvenating and renovating of the country’s image at home and overseas.
Moreover, what the country need is not ‘experienced’ leaders; for it has never lacked experienced leaders. On the contrary, for quite some time now, the United States of America has lacked visionary and inspirational leadership, with due respect to all past presidents. History has clearly and conspicuously manifested that, experience without objectivity, vision, articulation, foresight, and the ability to unite and inspire Americans is always tantamount to fiasco of whatever policies and goals such a leader and the administration have for the country.
This is the more reason why the candidacy of Obama is absolutely essential and worthy of support by all Americans irrespective of party affiliation, religious and social inclination and above all racial composition. Senator Obama has chose love over hatred; peace over war; joy over anger and frustration; and self control over zealousness.
In spite of all these great characteristics and capacity to endure the many conflicting experiences he had as a young bi-racial American, growing up and maturing into the society that have often displayed a lot of contrasting and contradictory scenario about freedom, broadmindedness, generosity, nationalism and patriotism, he has chosen to believe in the better vision of the country, rather than allow himself to be cut up in the nonentity of the calamity of racism and racial discrimination and hatred.
It is very unfortunate that some of the news network, which we had, hoped and anticipated to obtain objective and authentic information have been a bundle of disappointment and source of ridicule to the profession of journalism and its ethics of practice. By deliberately either by commission or omission to continue to miniaturize the importance and worthiness of Obama as a commander in chief and a leader of substance is a clear disservice to the American people and even the entire world as a matter of fact.
However, the people have rediscover their power and so far, they have advocated the candidacy of Obama; irrespective of the several attempts by some of the syndicated media networks to callously and maliciously run as surrogates for his opponents, feeding Americans with purely melancholic, distorted and deceptive information about Obama. Up till date, many of such syndicated media conglomerate have continued to undermine everything Obama, even including his Philadelphia Speech on race, as a sequel to the outburst from Rev. Wright.
A discussion have started in this country that shall transcend this current political dispensation and it is high time we all begin to articulate means that will enable the country to become truly united in body and soul and therefore present a formidable strength against racism, terrorism and dogmatism.
Obama in my judgment is best qualified to tackle the many nefarious issues confronting the country, with a more pragmatic and humane approach than either McCain or the Clintons in this era.
The fundamental mistake Hilary Clinton and Bill, with their surrogates made were to first and foremost take the people of the United States of America for granted and secondly thinking that Hilary is entitled to be the next president of the country. Those assumptions are tantamount to fabrication, fallacies and lack of recognition of the power of the average Americans.
True democracy relies on the people and not either party structures, machinations and or some few wealthy and powerful people or organizations. It is an indisputable facts that all these factors are essential towards a successful campaigning, it however become inconsequential when the people of America are taken for granted by the candidate that have such ‘power’ and ‘structural support’ to work with.
There is no doubt that Hilary Clinton is capable just like McCain of being a commander in chief, however, in the vicinity of an Obama candidacy, these two will not be the best choice for America in the current dispensation. The kind of candidate and leadership America mostly desire is one which will first and foremost begin the process of healing the differences that abound in the country, especially the issue of ‘RACE’.
Fortunately for Obama, that process has started be it by omission or commission as a sequel to the Rev. Wright controversy.
Furthermore and in order of preference is the tackling of the economic situation in the country. Without doubt many experts have come to the conclusion that the economy might be on or on the road to recession. The leader of the country should be able to fashion out a pragmatic, realistic and candid ways of getting the country out of this predicament, while at the same time maintaining the integrity of the American people, by way of offering them the necessary resources and support to enable them to live above water. Obama’s latest economic agenda and policy statements have comprehensively attempted to tackle these nefarious situations.
The war in Iraq, which was recently described by Ms. Albright, was being worse than Vietnam was a war that Obama had the judgment and foresight to have opposed from day one, on the basis that it is fundamentally inhumane and will subsequently cost the country the loss of lives and economic embarrassment. Hilary and McCain did authorize this war, unlike Obama and the unfolding events have more than substantiated his argument.
It is so sad that, the surrogates of the president George W. Bush and other proponents of the war continue to feed the people with distorted and deceptive news and information about the touted successes in the war, while in reality we have lost about 4000 lives, not to begin to count those that have sustained life threatening injuries, those on post-traumatic distress and other related anxiety disorders.
What about the issues of transparency, accountability and responsibility on the part of those who intend to lead the country? Obama have been the most honest with the disclosure of his dealings with the American people. He bluntly refused to shy away from issues that have generated controversies and take full responsibilities were the need arises.
How many times have we been opportune to have Hilary and McCain disclose information that they American people are entitled to, as long as they want to lead? In the release of his income tax returns, and discussion about his association with Tony in Chicago, those of Rev. Wright and the Senate Earmark Estimates, Obama have more than feed the people with the information they need and behold, in spite of the misunderstandings and the unfortunate politicization of his actions, majority of fellow Americans; Democrats, Republicans and Independents have continued to gravitate toward him in such a massive fashion that defy mere logic.
My judgment is that Obama have done a lot in terms of reaping himself bare while at the same time letting the people know that even though he may not be a perfect man, he however have a heart and soul that thrive to be one. He will lead the country in the direction of progress and reclamation of its lost glory. It is not in my place to advise Hilary on what to do, nevertheless, the Democratic Party and other lovers and supporters of the movement for hope and change need to begin to focus on November.

PITTSBURGH — Barack Obama kicked off a six-day bus tour of Pennsylvania on Friday, working to narrow Democratic primary rival Hillary Clinton's statewide lead enough to reaffirm his national front-runner status after racial tensions put his candidacy in a tailspin.
I am indeed very impressed with Ms. Rice for honestly and pragmatically commenting on the essentiality of Senator Obama’s speech on race and other matters arising from the isolated comments of Rev. Wright.
How will the McCain’s and the Clinton’s now respond to the speech? It has been evident that Senator claim ignorance to the speech and have not even attempt to congratulate or maybe follow the examples of the American people in acknowledging that Obama was able to address the issue of race in an honest, candid and humane fashion, without being discriminatory to either the white or black community.
Where is the courtesy that is usually ascribed to those who canvass for public offices? Hilary is sincerely a very bitter and an intolerant competitor and maybe this might be the reason why it’s so hard for her to make a breakthrough with the majority of Americans, who continue to see her as an opportunist who clearly takes advantage of an opponent through detrimental, diabolic and deliberately motivated ill circumstances in order to win.
This kind of campaign approach is not only archaic, but mischievous and unfavorable to the present dispensation which had witnessed a lot of new voters especially among the youths, who historically have been known to be lethargic to the political process and its participation. Every politician seeking public office(s) must to a greater extent by generous enough to admire the opponent’s outstanding and patriotic qualities and not perpetuate the denigration of the later.
Obama’s historic speech on race may have not been the first time an American is trying to address the issue; what is however very unique and different in this dispensation is the degree of compassion, honesty, sincerity and responsibility that comes with the speech. He has had the opportunity to experience, reflect and arrived at his own conviction about white and black in this country. The United States of America in his judgment is not about red or blue states, or is it about white and black, on the contrary is about the United States of America, a country that shall continue to stand as one and indivisible!
This is greatness, coming from a great personality, who clearly epitomizes and personified unity in diversity, hope and change and is a vehicle for patriotic sentiment and the actualization of our desire to be a truly one and united country.

Sometimes touted as a contender for the Republican vice-presidential slot, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has aired her thoughts on race in the United States, a prominent issue in the presidential election campaign.
Rice, the top ranking African-American in President George W. Bush's cabinet, told The Washington Times she had watched Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama's major speech on race last week.
"I think it was important that he (Obama) gave it for a whole host of reasons," said Rice in a transcript of the interview released by the State Department on Friday.
I want to know why we haven't seen more Super Delegates defecting to Obama in the past week? I'd sure like to know where all of these supposed “leaders” in the Democratic Party are right now.
After Gov. Richardson’s announcement, I thought for sure that we'd see other big endorsements come down the pike. The numbers show that Hillary will not be able to pull off a Primary upset without raking in unbelievably huge percentages of delegates from many of Obama’s supposed strongholds. This translates to: Senator Barack Obama will be the Democratic nominee for the Presidency of the United States of America.
One would think that this alone would be enough to create a groundswell of support in favor of Obama and endorsements and defections should naturally ensue. But on top of this, you have a brutally divisive, under handed, campaign being carried out by Hillary and her hacks with dirty tactics being employed at all levels. As Bill Clinton stated “I don't give a rip about all this name-calling….” Bill Clinton – WAKE UP!!! The politics of personal destruction are BAD FOR THE PARTY and ultimately BAD FOR OUR NATION.
Now is the time for the Democratic leadership to please tell Hillary that the Democratic presidential race is OVER and Barack Obama has WON. Of course, Hillary and Bill would never listen to one or two “traitors” or “Judases”. I realize many Super Delegates may be waiting for Pennsylvania and North Carolina, but the math clearly shows it’s over.
Where is our Democratic leadership? . . . I’d really like to know! Hillary must not be rewarded for her dirty tactics.
Their joint appearance on Hillary Rodham Clinton’s home turf could provide a boost for Obama in the tightly contested race for the Democratic presidential nomination. The introduction will fuel endorsement rumors — and more. Obama will need a dynamic, experienced executive as his running mate to convince general-election voters of his substance and ability. Bloomberg has made no secret of his ambitions, and having put aside the presidency, may see a VP run as an entree to something bigger down the road. He could wind up being the economics guru of an Obama administration — and he could potentially keep Hillary voters from defecting to McCain. Bloomberg understands business and politics. His endorsement will come with a price. Whether that price involves policy preferences or something more personal remains to be seen. However, the big buildup to today’s event gives a strong indication that a deal of one kind or another has either been made or is close enough. That will undoubtedly worry Hillary Clinton. New York has already had its primary, so the votes make no difference now. Bloomberg appeals to the same moderates she hopes to reach, though, and if he aligns himself with Obama, it will almost certainly end any appeal she has to the superdelegates. The Democratic establishment will take one look at Bloomberg’s deep pockets and fall in love with n Obama/Bloomberg ticket.
It is such a shame that the network news and other syndicated media organizations down played the importance and essentiality of the Obama speech on race, which he delivered as a sequel to the politically motivated and maliciously engineered news from Fox news et al on the distortions of the sermon Rev. Wright gave immediately after the 9/11 attack. I am so ashamed for some of the ways our purported journalists behave like tugs, with little or no academic and social orientations.
In my candid opinion the Rev. Wright’s outburst was a necessary evil for this country, otherwise the speech by Obama could never have emanated in the first place. In other words, it is not an entirely good nor bad news for the United States of America for one of its illustrious son to express his frustrations, bitterness and anger over what he perceived to be a crisis of confidence and hypocrisy.
Prior to the current political dispensation the dogmatism of militarism have more or less reign supreme in the country and remain the most used or rather over used means of settling misunderstanding and misrepresentations with other culture that may have divergent views from those held by the status quo. The entry of Obama into the process has changed a lot of this very inimical and myopic perspective and action and it suffice to note that this is a good development indeed.
The country’s foreign policies have clearly divided the world into two major blocks; allies and foes, while at the same time promoting the dogma of permanent interest, but no permanent friend. However, contemporary events world wide is beginning to lend credence to the fact that there might be an element of archaism in this kind of policy.
Obama out of foresight and informed wisdom have again been able to see ahead of time the necessity of a shift from the present style of foreign policies to a more diplomatic, approachable and humane interaction that can essentially accentuate the integration and elimination of the divides that have been deliberately drawn between the types of countries initially enumerated.
There is an absolute necessity for America to begin to visualize foreign policies as articulated by Obama in order to rapidly and comprehensively reclaim its position among the committees of nations and begin to lead the world by examples and convictions.
At this juncture it suffices to give two examples as to why Obama’s foreign policy might offer the best for the country and the entire world at large. Often we see the too numerous cases of domestic violence on the news media, and around us everyday and in fact, it is without doubt that this tendencies have resulted in a lot of broken homes and waywardness, and rebelliousness on the part of the family entity. In extreme cases, could be lovers end up dead or mutilated by partners that were supposed to protect them. My point is that, consequence to the overbearing and overemphasis on militarism, rather than diplomacy, our various homes are finding it very difficult to dialogue whenever disagreement arises. Obama is asking us to choose to tolerate one another and disagree to agree.
Another example is the humane, dexterous and Godly way he handled the Rev. Wright issues. I bet if McCain and Hilary could have had the capacity to deal with such typical issues as race and still come out of it unscratched. Obama’s dealings on the concerted issues have manifested another side of Obama we have not seen that too often; management of crisis and provision of the best possible alternative to solving it. By deliberately condemning the offensive words of the pastor, while at the same time recognizing in his personality the humanity and other virtues that are abundantly integral part of Rev. Wright, Obama has once more exclusively distinguish himself from Senator Hilary Clinton, who unfortunately have come out to advocate that Obama should ostracize the pastor!
Obama is tempering justice, judgment with humanity and understanding, because his life experience has given him the wisdom to be able to differentiate between the man and the words. If Hilary were to be sincerely honest with her self, the reality is that she will not even be with Bill Clinton as couples anymore. Consequently, she too has joined the band wagon of those whose comments were more politically motivated than realistic.
The above two examples give a tentative glimpse into the kind of unique and capable leadership Obama will bring to the White House and by way of generalization the world at large. He will deal with allies and those perceived to be our enemies in a fashion that will defy mere conventional logic. His wisdom and understanding will enable him to make the right judgment and restore the country’s battered image.
We must always be very mindful of the states, votes and delegates he has so far won; nobody expected that he will come this far, except the American people who believes in him. Furthermore, there are the other Americans overseas who also believes in him. It is therefore difficult to conclude that these two groups of Americans can simultaneously be wrong on Obama. I do not think so, hence, while some of the news networks are busy trying relentlessly to miniaturize Obama’s status, the people of America, at home and oversea have given their support to the Senator from Illinois and it will be very wise and professional of them to begin to report news and Obama events in an objective fashion.
Obama’s financial edge over Hilary and McCain does not come as a result of his befriending powerful, wealthy and influential Americans. On the contrary it is as a conspicuous result of the average and low income Americans who give their widows might to help actualize their dream of having a truly united country, where all are treated as human beings, devoid of wanton discrimination, racism, divisions and policies that are inimical to the holistic image of the country.
The most important facet of this development is how the people of America matters and must never be taken for granted by leaders who may feel because they are in power, the people must consider themselves lucky to have them as their leader.
From day one, Obama has committed his ideology and tactics principally as revolving round the people and not the special interests or wealthy lobbyists.
It is not yet over, however, we all have the responsibility to continue to support the people’s movement for hope and change and therefore help make America truly great.
Barack Obama had three times as much money in the bank at the end of February as Hillary Clinton, putting the Illinois senator on a stronger financial footing heading into the last round of primaries and caucuses for the Democratic presidential nomination.
Sen. Obama reported having $32 million on hand at the end of February that could be spent on the nominating contest, with minimal debt, according to his latest monthly financial report, filed with the Federal Election Commission.
New York Sen. Clinton reported having $11 million on hand at the end of February. Her debts to outside vendors were $3.7 million.
The figures are the most recent data publicly available, and the reports don't show whether the financial picture has changed in the past three weeks. The Clinton campaign seems to have improved its financial management over the last month, by improving fund-raising and, apparently, curbing some of the free-spending habits that angered backers earlier this year. Sen. Clinton's campaign was nearly broke at the end of January, forcing her to take out a $5 million personal loan and leading to replace her campaign manager.
His opponents were waiting his burial, while at the same time supporters were skeptical as to how he will resurrect from a nonentity fuel by Fox news and cohorts. The rest is now history, however what shall never be history is the candidness, calmness, articulation and dexterity that Obama brings to the political landscape of the country.
In my adult life, I have never seen some media networks pursue an agenda of bringing down a candidate that in their own opinion does not conform to their expectation. No matter what, the American people are the beneficiary of Obama and not Fox news, CNN, CBS, NBC and what have you.
Considering the scenario in which Obama made the speech and also the fact that he was being asked to answer for a comment he neither made none even consider to be an important issues when compared to the war in Iraq, the quest for unity, the housing problems and energy crisis, not to mention the ugly image of the United States of America that urgently needed to be addressed, shows the irresponsibility on the part of some media to magnify a senseless and irrelevant action of a controversial preacher to the stature of national concern.
The Rev. Wright talks about situations that are very difficult to ask for blessing from God, period! However if we change our ways, for sure we can easily ask, since we are living be examples. In other words, when you listen to the sermon in its entirety, you will immediately recognize the voices of man of God, which became tempered with anger and frustration.
Nevertheless, Obama had once done more than being capable of answering any 3:00am phone calls; he had provided the best possible solution to answering the call.
While John McCain and Hilary & Bill Clinton might be able to answer the phone call, as Obama has done on many occasions, it is however logical to conclude that it is only Obama that is in the best position to answer and at the same time provide the best alternatives.
Like Bill Richardson, if you listen to the speech, there shall be no doubt in your mind that, behold we are watching and listening to greatness itself and not just Senator Obama. These are the kinds of credentials that he will carry to the United Nations and elsewhere in the world to begin to heal, renovate, rejuvenate and reclaim the country’s greatness.
March 22, 2008—
Gov. Bill Richardson, D-N.M., said today that he made up his mind to endorse Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., for president after hearing his speech on race last week, calling him a "once-in-a-lifetime-leader."
"I think Obama is a once-in-a-lifetime leader and I felt, by stepping in, I might bring some kind of party unity or a message to others that we have to come together," the former presidential candidate said on "Good Morning America Weekend" today.
I quite understand the apology from Ms. Rice, what I however find very difficult to understand is the "how many times" scenario. Most importantly, how can we fight terrorism when at the highest level, such a situation is being perpetrated?
There is the need for a thorough investigations, with the hope that the integrity of Obama and the other candidates are not in any way compromised.
Fox news need to be in the watch list and the government should be ready to articulately handle organizations, media and otherwise who may later be opportunted to have vital informations from this unfortunate happenings and use it especially against Obama.

The passport files of all three major presidential candidates were breached by unauthorized searches by four employees, the State Department said yesterday, prompting apologies from Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, outrage from the candidates and calls by lawmakers for further probes.
The United States of America is a country that preaches freedom, justice, democracy and it is also a land of opportunity to propagate and infect people with those fundamental ideologies. It is also equally true that we can chose to be what we want to be irrespective of what others say or do.
This last scenario is exemplified by the subject matter from CBS News. The reality is Obama will unite this country better than the other presidential aspirants. He squarely and compassionately dealt with the issue of race that has not been treated in such a manner before in the 21st century. In spite of the fact that Rev. Wright could account for himself and there was no direct link between Obama’s and Rev. Wright’s spiritual, political and social ideology in terms of the anti-America comments, it however suffice to note that, the life of the Rev. Wright cannot be summed up by that statements.
There are times you even tell a loved one “if you try it again am going to hurt you so bad, that you will never forget”. What was your psychological state of mind when those comments were made? Were you angry? Were you sad? Were you experiencing panic attack? In the case of Rev. Wright when you listen to the sermon in its entirety, it is one in which because of his love for his country, which is clearly making him to be very passionate, he is simply remind us the necessity to live according to our preaching.
Finally, there is nothing I can personally do to change the mind of everybody and vice versa. However there is one thing we can all do; ask for wisdom from God and make the conscious effort to be objective, transparent, honest, accountable and responsible.
Obama has learnt that already and many other leaders too, what about us?
Obama's Notices
Sixty-nine percent of voters who have heard or read about Obama's speech say he did a good job addressing the issue of race relations, and 63 percent of voters following the events say they agree with Obama's views on race relations. Seventy-one percent say he did a good job explaining his relationship with Wright. When registered voters were asked if Obama would unite the country, however, 52 percent said yes — down from 67 percent last month.

Prior to the South Carolina Democratic Party Primary, Bill Clinton unkindly insinuate that the candidacy of Obama is not in any way different from those of previous “black” presidential aspirants and consequently for the first time introduced racism into the current political dispensation that have gone on without much talk about the choice of a president being based on race.
Now Bill is at it again; this time in North Carolina he had made comments that obviously attempt to pain Obama as unpatriotic. Is Bill Clinton actually an elder statesman and a former president of this country? Could his passion for his wife, Hilary be so strong as to callously continue to play the archaic style of politics of negativism and character assassination?
Here is what in his own words he said in North Carolina: “I think it would be a great thing if we had an election year where you had two people who loved this country and were devoted to the interest of this country, instead of all this other stuff that always seems to intrude itself on our politics”
Has Bill taken the time out to question comments made by McCain pastors about the people of this country? We have heard one said the Katrina disaster is God’s punishment for Homosexuality, so what about the other Americans that are not homosexual but were involved in the disaster? Other pastor advocate the extermination of the religion of Islam and by implication patriotic Americans that practice such a faith should be wantonly killed the way the war in Iraq is going.
If Rev. Wright does not love his country, he will never attempt to chastise it nor will he be bothered about the country’s foreign and domestic policies. As was comprehensibly and articulately spoken and with honesty and responsibility, Obama have enlightened all Americans to see the essence of unity and open-mindedness on the part of all.
If America continues to propagate illegitimate and inhuman wars and other actions that dehumanize mankind, for sure God will not bless us. On the other hand if we turn our ways from evil to good and do according to God’s ways blessings shall be fall us from all angles of life.
No matter how we look at it, the Rev. Wright sermons in its totality is a wake up call for all Americans and the people of the world to try to live according to God’s laws of treat your neighbor as yourself and love God above all.
Dear Bill, please do not try to loose the few remaining credibility and respect you have before Americans and the world at large.

SALEM, Ore. (AP) — A co-chairman of Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign yesterday compared former President Bill Clinton to Joseph McCarthy, the 1950s senator whom liberals widely revile as a witch-hunting fascist, after Mr. Clinton seemed to question Mr. Obama's patriotism. Retired Gen. Merrill "Tony" McPeak, a former Air Force chief of staff, said he was disappointed by comments Mr. Clinton made while campaigning for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton yesterday in Charlotte, N.C.
I have written several times about media sensationalism and the ultimate sacrificing of the objectivity of journalism and other forms of information dissemination. The media owe the American people the sacred responsibility of standing on the path of truth and anything short of that should be consider absolutely wrong and unbecoming of the network propagating such smear.
Fox may have done a remarkable work of trying to bury the issues that of urgent concern to America and elevate its network as an opinionated, dogmatic and narrow-minded media organization. However, how has this sentimentality and maliciousness help the American people? It is indeed very sad to see the network compromise the very essence of journalism by wantonly taking side, rather than present the American people with balance information.
Regarding the issue of Fox News having been inclined to the Republican Party, well, the previous appointment of Tony Snow as a one time press secretary to George Bush does not come as a surprise. Furthermore, Fox News continue to feed the American people with stories that manifest that the war in Iraq is actually very successful and America is winning.
To the issue of Rev. Wright; rather than bury Obama, he took it upon himself to explain to the American people the difference between reality and fallacy. Why Fox News did never propagated inflammatory comments made by Pastor John Hagee, in which he says Katrina was God’s punishment for homosexuality, Jews are to blame for anti-Semitism and Catholicism is the “whore of Babylon” and a “cult?” Furthermore why did most network journalists ignored Rick Parsley, a televangelist who McCain called his “spiritual guide” said “I do not believe our country can fully its divine purpose until we understand our historical conflict with Islam. The fact is that America was founded, in part, with the intention of seeing this false religion destroyed...”
How does the United State hope to pursue the policy of diplomacy, rather than the inimical militarism in this 21st century with spiritual leaders asking for the condemnation to death of Americans who might be Moslem and the people of Islam? Even the Jesus Christ that these pastors pretend to serve never in any time condemns other religion on the basis of divergent views, let alone to begin to ask for their execution.
I am just sadden but not surprise by the actions of Fox News network, after all it was the same organization that act as the originator of the malicious, fallacious and very dumfounded accusation from the Clinton’s mailers’ that Obama was a Moslem.
My honest suggestion is for the Fox News network to train its journalist to appreciate the differences in mankind, be it in the area of religion, race, color, ideology and even simple thing as the name an individual may bear. That I am bearing a Christian name does not actually prove that I am a Christian.

Apart from the fact that Obama has displayed his ability, capability and capacity to del with topical matters and circumstances, while maintaining his integrity and both spiritual and political conviction clearly attest to the necessity of his being the Democratic Party nominee.
Circumstances of conspicuous nonentity to the United States of America’s quest to redeem its image have been and continue to threaten him, for instance the Rev. Wright comments and his radio interview comments in describing his grand-mother, nevertheless Obama have been able to honestly, articulately and compassionately present his view to the American people. The result has been very outstanding and acceptable indeed.
The people of America are beginning to distinguish realty from farce and authenticity from fallacy. Obama took up the challenge to deal with the race issues and his pastors comments, in which record is now showing was actually a distortion of the holistic perspective of the sermon that is now a controversial one, in a courageous and candid fashion that have never been since seen in a long time.
Having resurrected from the politically engineered death sentencing by rivals and those who want to maintain the status quo and importantly too, press corporations and other behind the scene conglomerates, Obama and the people’s movement for hope and change score a big endorsement from Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico.
On why he is endorsing Obama, Bill had this to say: “You will be an outstanding commander in chief and above all, you will be a president who brings this nation together.”
The candidacy of Obama will be a transformational and transcending one that defies all political prediction and analysis, but will be the ultimate affirmation action needed by Americans to substantiate the country’s honest commitment and desire to relegate the issues of race and other divisible factors to rest once and for all.
God bless Obama.
I just ran the numbers, and it looks like Obama needs only 213 more pledged delegates to secure the majority of pledged (determined by the voters) delegates. That is only 38% of the remaining delegates.
Throw Florida and Michigan back in (which seems unlikely at this point), and Obama needs 370 more pledged delegats, which would require him to win just 42% of the as-yet-undecided delegates under that circumstance.
Either way (and this is nothing new) it'll be up to the superdelegates, but Obama likely wins a mjaority of the pledged delegates. As I like to paraphrase Orwell's Animal Farm these days:
All voters are equal, but some voters are more equal than others.
Everyone have a great weekend! Go out there and register those Obama independents in PA.
The healing process must now commence and the necessity of being candid and honest is more than ever necessary in order to move the nation ahead.
Presidential candidate Barack Obama trounced Hillary Clinton in a straw poll of liberal activists, defeating her by a vote of 72 to 16 percent.
The results were released today at the Take Back America conference in Washington, where some 2,000 activists converged to discuss progressive policy issues and voter mobilization strategy March 17 through 19.
Mr. Obama won during the conference last year as well, but in 2007 he garnered just 29 percent of voters, compared to John Edwards's 26 percent and Hillary Clinton's 17 percent.

Be careful what you wish for, you may get it.
I was disappointed to hear that Hillary got some really nice endorsements out of Superdelegates in Pennsylvania this week. Bummer.
So, I looked around to see if Obama got any endorsements. Here's what I found:
1. Both Democratic candidates for governor in North Carolina have now endorsed Barack Obama. Lt. Gov. Beverly Perdue recently threw her support behind Obama, while her opponent, Treasurer Richard Moore, endorsed him last month. Ms. Perdue's endorsement is great considering that she, like Hillary, is a woman seeking to be the first female Governor in North Carolina!
2. Seventeen Iowa Officials, including Lt. Gov. Patty Judge and House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, endorsed Obama Right before Iowa's State Convention.
3. Harrisburg (PA) City Council members Susan Brown Wilson, Patty Kim, Gloria Martin-Roberts and Dan Miller went public today with a group endorsement of Barack Obama for president at the Obama '08 headquarters in downtown Harrisburg.
4. The Black Clergy of Philadelphia and Vicinity voted overwhelmingly to endorse Obama.
So, that's cool. However . . . It would be great to get some really influential endorsements...
On Tuesday, speaking at UCLA's Burkle Center for International Relations, Bill Richardson came as close as one can to endorsing Obama without actually doing so, as he recalled Obama selflessly lending him a hand during one of the debates.
And a few days ago, Nancy Pelosi cut short any debate about the Clinton-planted notion of a joint ticket featuring Obama as VP. While she didn't precisely state that it was the idea of Obama on the bottom half of the ticket that she found objectionable, she flatly stated that it was the demagoguery of Clinton's Commander in Chief rhetoric that was the dream-ticket buzz killer. Pelosi told ABC News' George Stephanopoulos today that it would be "harmful" to Democrats if superdelegates were to give the party's presidential nomination to a candidate who is trailing in the delegates awarded in primaries and caucuses.
"If the votes of the superdelegates overturn what's happened in the elections," said Pelosi, "it would be harmful to the Democratic Party." Although Pelosi offered her assessment without directly referencing Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., her comments lend considerable support to the Illinois Democrat.
Al Gore has kept remarkably quiet, although one suspects that with supposed acrimony between him and Hillary During Bill's years as president, that he too would come out for Obama, if at all. So, it was kind of interesting to hear that Obama had a conversation with Al Gore last week . . . I can't imagine that Hillary has chatted with Gore recently.
