I am almost at a loss for words. Barack Obama is the President Elect. It's stunning really. Finally, after almost two years of hard work, long hours, and tireless campaigning...we've done it!
The feelings that were going around last night were amazing and contagious. You couldn't help but smile and raise your glass every 30 seconds to propose a new toast. "To Change", we said. "Yes We Can, and Yes We Did". There was an unabaited joy in everyone that I've never seen in anybody when it comes to politics. It's something that is hard to describe, something that is a campaign slogan, but something that has been damn hard to reach for in the past 8 years. But what it boils down to, what the glow on everyone's faces last night was HOPE. No fear, no questions, no worrying, no having to go and work at it right away. For a few moments in time we were all able to bask in that sweet, sweet glow of HOPE. We could all feel it, see it on each other's face, in our speeches and hugs. Nervousness and weariness were replaced with it.
HOPE.
The time has come. This campaign is not over. It is just at another beginning. We must push onward and work to see to it that everyone American is able to share in our glow. There are those out there who would run from it, afraid of change and a new beginning. We must help them see the benefits. As Barack said last night, "I may not have won your vote tonight...I will be your President too." We can not fall into the patterns of old, balking at differing opinons, and when things don't go our way, taking our ball and going home. That cannot be. This is a time when we can reach across the aisle, shake hands with our neighbors of differing opinions and yet still get things done. We must unite and work together in order to succeed in this great nation, or we will fail seperately.

There's a blog going around facebook stating that on Sep 30th starting at 12am all those voting for Barack should wear BLUE in support. Wear it all day. That's part of the goal. The other part is to register two unregistered voters. If you can't register voters, try to talk to two voters who may be on the fence.
Remember, Sep 30th is Wear Blue for Barack Day!
Due It!

We need to find ways to help Barack Obama, not simply in the real world, but in the virtual world. We need to create our own echo chamber where we can answer the lies, answer the distortions head on.
We also need to find ways to test messages and understand just how tough a job organizing is and find more effective ways to organize.
To that end, I believe that blogging here and elsewhere, joining political simulations and boards are central to fighting back for Barack.
This month's simulation recommendation to join is the American Government Simulation at http://americangovernmentsimulation.com/.
Sign up and join the Obama bandwagon and send the message to Republicans, we won't go quietly into the night anymore, we won't give in, we will stand up and fight to make a difference and change the world everywhere we can. Yes we can.

Thanks,
Woohoo! According to CNN this morning, lawmakers are stating that there will be no revote and the proposal that ws given by Karen Thurman was rejected. As a Floridian and a Obama supporter this makes me happy. The only way to deal with these delegates is to split them up evenly or don't use them at all. Hopefully they split them, that will make our candidate even closer to where he needs to be.
I heard oregon has been doing it or I should say trying to do it now for 15 years. According to CNN last night, they stated that it took 13 years to get it done right and we here in Florida who obviously has not had enough good judgement when it comes to politcs want to try and atttempt a "perfect" run on it's first try. I don't think so. I believe they have 2 choices.
1st choice: forget about Florida and Michigan delegates (as per the rules they broke)
2nd choice: split them up evenly if they really want to be represented in Colorado.
This is a great tool for any supporter to show how much we would like our candidate to win. This poll among others are always used on national news shows. Go to your events, put in 34683 for the zip code and you will see it there.
Call or Write the Democratic National Party (DNC) to Even out Florida Delegates.
This is very simple to do, I did it myself and I felt like I was getting heard!
Go to your Events, select find events, put in zip code 34683 and you will find it there.
When I spoke to them this morning, they stated that the Governor does not want to do a "do-over", but he does want to seat the delegates. I personally do not think that it is that fair if some Floridians didn't vote because they knew thier vote did not count. Especially when the news, newspapers and radio stated that also.
Somebody sent this to me and i found it pretty interesting, I did a little "cut and paste" to get rid of the hundred email addresses attached to it. It seems like that if Hillary's campaign or rogue agencies spreading false emails and manipulative internet buzz to draw attention to her, maybe this letterwhich seems to contain many truths can be just as damaging for her. This is not just Barrack Obama's campaign, i view this as ours also.
Emailed that was received:
"Do not know if you have seen this email but it is worth a read. I received it a couple of weeks ago from a friend in South Dakota. I asked my husband about its content as I was not familiar with a lot of it (being from Canada) and he told me that it was pretty accurate as far as he is concerned. If this is the case, please send it to everyone you know. After listening to Hillary last night saying her "victory speech", I still have nausea. If she wants to play dirty and handle the truth carelessly about Barack, perhaps it is time she gets a little reminder. She will continue this negative campaign to win and we must all fight back in any way we can with the real truth about her. Let's also see those White House documents that she and Bill keep hiding and her tax returns she is so hesitant to come clean about. Sometimes you just have to fight fire with fire and unlike Barack who they are trying to destroy with distortions, the Clintons can be brought down with the truth. We cannot afford to lose the best candidate for president because of smear campaigns from a power hungry woman who wants the prestige of being the first woman to be president.
The "math" is probably going to be the big topic today coming out of the Obama camp. CNN has got a great tool set up on thier website called the "Delegate Counter Game". I urge everyone to go and play with it. After last night's loss in Texas and Ohio (which from the beginning, we were supposed to lose) We need something that will let people know that's not just the fact we have a better candidate, but we have the numbers needed to carry this through to the convention and to to gain the nomination. Below is the link to the counter. All I could think about this morning is why our candidate won't and doesn't go negative, I appreciate that this is his position, but if Hillary is slinging mud and the kitchen sink and getting the results she wants as indicated by last night primary, maybe he should reconsider. Lets hear your opinion........

With stories going on the last couple of days like Senator Obama's relationship with Renzo and a third party talking about NAFTA policies with Canada, which both, by the way have no implications to Obama do anything wrong or illegal, we as supporters and fans need to step up our game and take that extra initiative TODAY. If you know anybody in the 4 states that are having thier primaries today or you know someone who is a supporter with family or friends there, please make them aware of how important today is to Senator Obama. This day could be his "golden ticket" to the nomination, the day where Senator Clinton will finally say, he is the better candidate, the day that the American public will figure out that this is the representative that will beat McCain in November. I urge you to think about the friends and family members you have that you could talk to today.
It's time. If you live in Ohio, Vermont, Rhode Island or Texas, then you know what you must do tomorrow. You must go out and vote! Make your voices heard. Raise your voices for change! Do not let them tell you that your vote does not count, because you are only one vote! You CAN make a Difference! I CAN Make a Difference! We CAN! Yes, WE CAN!Now, as an Obama Supporter, I would love to have all of you go and vote for Obama. If you are looking for change, HE is the candidate who is not just the most hopeful, but the one who WILL succeed in making the changes where others want the status quo. If you think he does not have experience or the ability, compare his voting record to Hillary's and compare the amount of bills he's written or co sponsored. And then compare how many of their bills have gone through. He has experience on a State Level, and more importantly, he has reached people like me, who have never really cared too much about politics to register to vote for the first time! Prove to those who say No We Can't, and the Hope is just Empty Rhetoric that We can prove them wrong.
I just want you to all get out there and vote. Let your voices be heard! For whomever you wish them to be heard for. STAND UP AND BE COUNTED!!!
Hillary had put up a ridicules ad over the weekend. I added a YouTube link from the Tucker Carlson show, where he thought her's was funny and compkimented Obama's.
Enjoy!

Players of the record-breaking sci-fi shoot'em up video game Halo 3, selling over 5 million games since it's release date of September 25, 2007 have found a new respect for Senator Obama. Some have used his name as a gamertag like Barackobama954, barackobama70 and barackobama22. I got the idea for writing this post because I myself, are a gamer, playing Halo 3 on XBox360. This past week, I played against a player with a gamertag Barackobama and I, as a Obama fan felt it was hilarious playing against him and I even felt a little guilty about trying to beat him. On a side note, he was a good player and I got beat by 1 point, but it was worth it, just so I could write this post. If there are any gamers that are for Senator Obama, a good way to support him is to put your local Obama group or stating something in your "motto" section below your gamertag to raise awareness. Below is a link to the player that I played against, believe it or not, he is pretty good.

It was easy, I made my first round of calls. Unfortunately it was a lot of leaving messages, but it was alot easier than I thought.

I have a great respect for Barack Obama and I have choosen to post this due to an issue that has been nagging me for quite some time. Many people have felt that Barack is not focusing on everyones' rights, some say he is focusing too much on one culture, race(more on this later), and/or economic group. There are two issues which Barack is truly focused on that greatly strive to bring our country into an equal nation. These are Education and Health Care. I'm going to focus on education here. Barack is striving to create a system that makes all schools equal, in funding, educational requirements, standards, and he is constantly working to make college more affordable to all. This is a HUGE step towards equality which many miss. Job opportunities are correlated directly with the quality of a person's education if you went to a school with lower standards and lower funding the odds of you getting a position over someone who went to a school with high funding and high standards are pretty slim just due to a lack of understanding of some rather basic concepts such as math and english. Situations like this cannot continue it does not matter how much money your family makes or the color of your skin you should be able to learn the same information with the same quality of teacher and books as every other person in this country. This is a little sub note I wish to share with all, earlier I mentioned race and there are many who see Barack as missing out on certain racial groups and to all those who see it this remember there is only one race and that is the human race! I know it will be a long while until our country views it this way but Barack is a huge step in the right direction. We all bleed the same blood, we all shed the same tears we are all human beings and its time to join together and make a change for the better.
At the Grand Opening of the Headquarters in Los Angeles today we got to see a copy of Frontline, a Japanese publication that we were interviewed for.
The picture us in Second life at the Obama headquarters made it into print.
