I was reading about various states purging vote registration rolls and it reminded me of a story I read about earlier this year where 10,000 names were purged from the rolls in one district in Madison county: http://missthirddistrict.blogspot.com/2008/03/madison-voter-purge.html This one person actually had the power to act on her own to do this, and even purged a candidate and his wife! That is ridiculous.
I also found a story that I missed in July about a plan for a massive two-year purge of inactive voters in the county. It was to have been conducted by mail, and the plan was scrapped because it may not be legal. http://www.clarionledger.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080722/NEWS/807220372/1001/news
Rather than focus on the Sarah Palin soap opera, it's probably more constructive for us to focus on voter registration. Please make sure that your voter registration info is current with your correct name (if you got married or divorced) and your correct address. And if you haven't voted in a while, make sure that you haven't been purged already. You can verify your voter registration information here: https://www.voteforchange.com
Please spread the word.
Since Mississippi is voting tomorrow, I though I'd make one last push to let people know they can print out their own signs to show their support...
Here are some ready-to-print 8½ by 11 inch "Mississippi for Obama" signs I put together. Print some out and tape them up in your car, in your house, give them to other supporters or use them as signs! Email your friends and family asking them to do the same!
Addittionally, I have put together many more signs, wallpapers, images, etc. at obamamedia.wordpress.com.
Go Mississippi!
the idea came up in the blogs yesterday for a visibililty march since the msm is shutting down pro-Obama stories and burying the truth about nafta-gate and other press unfavorable to the Billaries.
..in other words, a visibility event that will let people see with their own eyes that the msm version is increasingly out of alignment with reality.
well, i've been away for a while. i promise i didn't drop off the face of the earth. i hace just been moving so you know how that goes.
anyway. i think what everyone has been doing for SEN. Obama is great. i have never been more proud to say that i am a part of such an astounding campaign, and i hope everyone else feels the same way.
I feel so out of touch with everyone. i didn't get to make it to the barack the vote meeting, and i'm pretty sure i wont be able to make it tomorrow, and i'm the co-chair. *gasp* i know. but i promise guys. i'm still here.
and you know how to reach me for anything. you know i'm always up for a barack challenge!
hi everyone,
I signed this petition from move on... I think electronic election fraud is a SERIOUS important issue. as I've said before in the community blogs our best efforts won't matter if the vote is hacked. check it out:

YES, I am enchanted with Obama. And, YES, I envision him as our next president. Something's bothering me, though. If the campaign is about me, why the canned list of issues to choose from? There's not even an "OTHER" category. Personally, I'm intersted in consumer debt, and the usury, deceptiveness and sharp practices credit card companies use, which are legally sanctioned by our government. Who in the campaign can I address my concerns to? HOW CAN I MAKE MY VOICE HEARD?!
