What is Extensive Vetting for Potential Obama Appointees?
Michigan has approved the smoking of marijuana for medical reasons. Can smoking marijuana threatened your hopes of landing a top presidential appointment? An army of lawyers from Michigan is faithfully volunteering on President-Elect Barack Obama’s Transition Team to vet his potential picks.
The assembly of President Elect Barack Obama’s administration is an explicit, exemplary and prodigious investigation. This process is beyond previous prerequisites of a government job. It’s above the acquisition of obtaining your actual precise hair count, yes, numbers of hair strands you may have. Tidous process?
These lawyers are utilizing a new level of scrutiny of any task on his transition team. They are vetting his potential picks with unprecedented scrutiny of their personal, financial and professional backgrounds.
Embarrassing e-mails, text messages, diary entries, my space web pages and Facebook profiles? Gifts worth more than $50, other than those from relatives and long-standing friends? Family members though third generations. Validate it. What did your great grand parents do for a living? Do you have any second cousins with connections to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mack, AIG or any other company receiving a federal bailout?
Obama is conducting the vetting process much the way he managed his campaign: methodically, thoroughly and on a prodigious scale. He did not wait until he won the election to vet his favored picks. Soon after he clinched the Democratic nomination, lawyers quietly prepared dossiers of about 150 contenders for senior positions -- often without the candidates themselves knowing. Obama is discipline to reading and studying with a semblance more towards Lincoln’s political strategies and thought processes and other a select few others.A Senior Obama Transition Adviser stated, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

We think of this story as the sprit of an Angel. This turned into a high profile case, not because of who I was. By far, I was viewed as a young high achiever, earning two degrees, a female preparing for her college graduation.
At that time, some of the women in my family were passive by nature and very protective. For a variety of reasons, none of which I agreed with, some of the women wanted it to be kept Secret. My father always taught me to stand for what I believed in, even if I stood alone. Now he’s gone. I had to make a stand for what was right.
I was determined to fight, I fought and fought. I was strong in my faith and I knew my God would stay with me even in the corners of my room as I cried and cried out to the Lord. I lost friends but I did not lose my LIFE! The army grew; warriors in their sleep arose to fight with me and for me. Eyewitnesses came and presented themselves. My own education was used against me…Something along the lines of ”A very bright, articulate and educated female should have seen the attack and the violence coming, someone studying psychology” Said the assailants’ attorney…
A good friend of mine from Taiwan, said, “I no prejudice person, I love her, she’s my American friend, but I now afraid of black men and I want to return to my country. I don’t understand American Government! Why tolerate and allow senseless crimes and violence on women. I no understand”. She stated clearly. I’ll never forget her words and how this malicious ordeal scared her and her views of American Black Men. I felt responsible for her leaving our great country, America. Enthusiastically she willingly came to America to become a cardiologist. She did not come to America to be a victim nor a witness to a violent crime against women.
I was compelled to help teach and educate others including the police; how NOT to victim blame; HOW To Approach a victim of this awful crime on SIGHT; What to say and what not to say
I thought, I have to make it, I have to fight I, have to win, and I have to help others!!!!
