Wow, a sit com length commercial from Obama, to be aired almost right before election. I have to say I am pretty excited about this one, almost like waiting for the fist epiosde of a new show (hopefully this metaphor is a sign of things to come, keep your fingers crossed guys)

Just looking at the debate, I really can't say who I feel performed better. It's all pretty standard from both sides, no earth shattering new policies revealed and no major bloopers besides both sides stretching the facts a little, but that's to be expected in all political debates. What do you guys think?

Come on, seriously, she expects people to believe Obama is related to terrorism at the age of EIGHT? Guess Palin got no other options besides spreading obvious lies about Obama as a last desperate attempt to drag him down.

See full coverage on Obama’s bipartisan message at http://kronomy.com/event/XCeB4NcMrq/, including pictures, videos and text. “A new survey conducted by Quinnipiac University over the weekend shows Obama leading McCain in Florida 51 percent to 43 percent, in Ohio 50 percent to 42 percent and in Pennsylvania 54 percent to 39 percent. Since 1960, no president has been elected without winning two of those three states.” Things are looking good for Obama!
Again, good message, nice gesture at this turbulent time from both sides. Just wish it didn’t take a financial meltdown to bring this spirit of cooperation around. Drop me a line at my blog, thanks.

So Obama responded to the rejection of the bailout plan. I like that he is encouraging people to stay hopeful, and I like that he is encouraging the Congress to actually do their job. But, I am curious about how active a role he is taking in coming up with the next bill. Beyond calling for more regulations, I would like to see him offer some more concrete details of what he thinks THE bill should include.
This was NOT great planning on the Obama campaign's part. First of all, everyone knows Tallahassee is football country.
I could have told them that this would have been the worse weekend to be in Tallahassee. FSU is playing Colorado in Jacksonville and their fans left last night. FAMU has a huge classic in ATL and most of the "VOTING" students are gone to the game there.
Tallahassee is like a ghost town right now. The voters that need to be reached are doing football in another city.
Again, if they would have just asked me........................................
All jokes aside, this is plain and simple bad planning. If you want to win the capital, Tallahassee, you will have to have the student vote.
There was a message circulating some of our groups in Florida yesterday that spread incorrect information conerning the the ID needed to vote. We're going to clarify below.
A message from the Florida Campaign for Change chief election lawyer:
I am the Obama-Biden campaign’s chief election lawyer in Florida, and I have received the 'no match no vote' message from several sources. This message is categorically false. Our reading of the clear statutory language does NOT require that the address on the driver’s license (or other ID) that the voter presents at the polls match the voter’s address in the precinct register. Furthermore, this press release from the Florida Secretary of State definitively ccnfirms:http://www.dos.state.fl.us/news/communications/pressRelease/pressRelease.cfm?id=330 See the last bullet:· I.D. required and checked at the polls is used solely to confirm the voter’s identity. Not to verify the voter’s ID number or address. The photograph on the ID is compared to the person standing before the poll worker and the signature on the ID is compared to the signature on record.

Sandra Bernard-Bastien – Historian, Coral Springs
“I was thrilled to receive my text message this morning. I believe a selection like this demonstrates Senator Barack Obama’s good judgment. Senator Joe Biden is an accomplished, extremely bright and talented public servant.”
Elaine Bloom – former State Representative & former Hillary Clinton supporter, Miami Beach
“Joe Biden is a superb choice for V.P.! He has a proven record of real leadership and extensive foreign policy experience. I’m sure that those concerned about Israel’s safety and security will be totally comfortable, as I am, with Senators Barack Obama and Joe Biden in the White House.”
Jeremy Branch – Jackson County Commissioner, Grand Rdige
“Senator Obama and Senator Biden may have different backgrounds but they share the quintessential American story. Obama was raised by a poor single mom and his grandparents. Biden was born of humble roots into a working class family in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Both men believe in the strength of the American family and take pride in their faith and values. Senators Obama and Biden understand the challenges working families face today, and that is exactly the kind of leadership and change that we need.”
Luis Garcia - State Representative, Little Havana
“I am thrilled with Senator Obama’s selection of Joe Biden, who I have admired for over 25 years. He’s somebody that won’t be bullied by anybody. Senator Biden walks the walk and talks the talk – a defender of America’s working families and a proponent of freedom everywhere. In South Florida, I know that the diverse Hispanic, Jewish and Caribbean constituencies will see Senator Biden as a perfect compliment for this campaign to bring change.”
Luis Garcia - Representante Estatal, La Pequeña Havana
“Estoy muy entusiasmado de que el senador Obama escogió a Joe Biden, una persona que he admirado por más de 25 años. Él no será intimidado por nadie. El senador Biden practica lo que predica-es un defensor de las familias trabajadoras en este país y proponente de libertad por todo el mundo. En el sur de La Florida, yo se que los diversos grupos como los hispanos, judíos y caribeños verán al senador Biden como perfecta adición a la campaña para lograr el cambio.”
Edna LaRoche – President, Haitian American Democratic Club, Miramar
“I am an enthusiastic and excited Democrat today! Senator Obama has totally hit the ball out of the park with this choice. Thank God, we are on our way to the White House.”
Mike Novosel, Jr. – CW4 U.S. Army (Ret.), Fort Walton Beach
“Besides being an expert on foreign policy, Joe Biden is a father who raised his children to love and serve their country. As a military family member, Joe Biden understands the challenges and fears that all military families face. His son volunteered to serve his country and will shortly be deployed to Iraq. I applaud Senator Obama for his decision to choose this fine patriot! He is my choice, too.”

August , 2008;Dear Obama Friends and Supporters;
My name is Stephanie Woods Miller. I am a wife, a mother and it has been my great honor to be elected as a pledged delegate for Senator Barack Obama from the 8th Congressional District of Georgia. This means, that I have been selected to travel to the Democratic National Convention in Denver and officially vote for Barack Obama as our Democratic nominee for President of the United States. This is indeed an honor and a privilege, but I NEED YOUR HELP!!The estimated expenses for each delegate to Denver is $3,500 and those expenses are born individually by the delegate. That’s right, we all must find a way to finance our own trip. That is why I am writing you today. I would appreciate it if you could make a contribution to help offset these expenses and send me to Denver to support Barrack Obama, help shape the Democratic platform and redirect future of our country. Whether you are able to contribute $20.00 or $500.00 your gift will make a big difference. For your convenience, make donations at www.campaignwindow.com/StephanieWoodsMillerObamaDelegate or you can mail your contribution to me at the address at the top of this letter. This election season was witness to a long and hard fought primary between two good candidates and I am immensely proud to have Senator Barrack Obama as the standard bearer of our Democratic Party, however the work of the party is not done yet. The platform for the Democratic Party is established at the convention. I know how important this is because I have had the opportunity to talk to voters in some of Georgia’s poorest areas and I have been especially moved by the hardships which face our families. These issues are even more pronounced in the lives of the women and children of our community. Mothers have told me of the difficult choices they must make when they have to drive 15 miles each way to work at time when gas is almost $4.00 a gallon. The high cost of gas, followed by daycare and housing expenses leave them with little left with which to feed their children. They are ready for a change, they are ready to see their issues reflected in the platform of the Democratic Party and they are ready for Barrack Obama. You and I can do our part to give voice to these people who are so hungry for change and your generous contribution will help me to do just that.Fundraising as you have seen on the news is so difficult yet so essential to political campaigns. I know that we all are making sacrifices in this economy so please accept my thanks in advance for your consideration and for your gift. Your kindness will not be forgotten. Also, please take a moment to send your stories and photos of how you became involved with this campaign along with your contribution so that I can share them with other supporters on my website.Look for me on the floor of the convention in August under the Georgia banner. When you see my face, know that you helped put me there and that has made all difference. Let’s take our country back!Sincerely
Stephanie Woods Miller

What a joyous moment for me to see all of those dark blue states shaded in for MY candidate. It brought tears to my eyes to see the rally for him held in Minnesota. The world knows what I've known for months now. Barack energizing all Americans, and with proper support and campaigning these next few months, the OBAMAS will be sitting at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and rightfully so.
This battle was hard fought. I thought if Hillary had competed like a Democrat instead of a Republican I would have had a lot more respect for her. Barack kept taking the high road, like a perfect gentleman and I love him for that.
The love displayed by both Michelle and Barack on that stage, the look that said, "Baby, we made it, and thank you for your love". There's is nothing like a "Real Black Woman" that supports her "Real Black Man". With that type of love, we conquer the universe.
I cried like a baby thru the entire speech, especially when you could tell how emotional Barack was about claiming the nomination.
I love you Barack and you are forever written in history.

I am off to the rally too. People remember Barack's black side and forget about the white side.
There will be people not happy on both sides of the race spectrum because he will be a President for all people.
And I am young, educated, religious, and cling to my guns, and damn right bitter about this $4 gas and how high produce is in Florida.
The Clintons are Republicans and not good ones.
I am willing to put my trust in someone who's record shows he can budget, come up with a coherent thought, and motivate the youth. After all in 20 years or so, only it will be the youth that will be here to enjoy America.
Educated people can read too, that's why they are educated. I went to Barack's website and I have done the research. His track record DOES speak for itself.
I believe Barack will surround himself with great people and make sound decisions.
Those decisions will not be based on favors he owes to people who tried to buy off superdelegates with 1 million dollars, but bases on strategic principles to what's good for this nation.
