Today’s Politico reports that John McCain doesn’t know how many houses he owns, and told a reporter he’d need to have his staff look into it. Barack Obama’s Campaign for Change is launching a contest across Michigan today entitled: “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire: McCain Edition.” Official rules: Volunteers are invited to stop by our Campaign for Change offices across Michigan and make a guess at how many houses John McCain owns. Winners receive a free campaign bumper sticker. We will not be able to award prizes until McCain or his campaign offer their “Final Answer” on exactly how many houses John McCain owns. In today’s Politico story, McCain’s campaign said the answer is “at least four.” Newsweek has reported the answer is “at least seven.” When asked how many houses he owns, McCain told Politico: “I think - I'll have my staff get to you … It's condominiums where - I'll have them get to you."
