Hi all. Hope everyone is as fired up for Friday's debate as I am!!! Barack will rock!!
There are so many great events (and several debate events) coming up and I hope you can attend!! In an attempt to make it easier for you to find some events, I'll post some links and info here.
Here is one at one of my fav local spots-
1. 9/26 - Debate watching event at Cody's:
Come join us at Cody's Public House (1658 W Barry Ave - just south of Belmont on the corner of Paulina and Barry) as we watch Obama duke it out with McCain in the first presidential debate of the year. Obama and Biden need our financial support to be able to campaign in the ever-so-important battleground states. We are asking for a $10 donation at the door . . . all proceeds will go directly to the Obama-Biden campaign. We will be providing some hors d'œuvres and will be firing up the barbecue (meats and veggies will not be provided but you are welcome to bring anything that you would like to throw on the grill). Cody's has a pool table, lots of dart boards, a great jukebox, and cheap beer (it's a cash bar). Come on out and bring your friends to support the good guys (there's plenty of parking available). We'll be getting started at 7:00. The debates start at 8. Hope to see you there. http://my.barackobama.com/page/event/detail/gs77y9
