Only about 30 days left till the election day, polls are looking good. New National poll shows 8 point lead and our electoral map is looking good for us as well. Through, in 30 days anything can change. After looking over some polling information obtainted by CNN,I have came up with the state we need to focus on. Meaning in anyway people can, by making calls to that state, people who live there start help fundrasing there and getting in touch with people. We can't let John McCain win the White House and give us 8 more years of the same.
1) Colorado.
The Polls show that we are in a dead heat tie, in that state. You can make calls using the new program from the Obama Capmgian, Neighboor to Neighboor. Those who live in Colorado, it would be a good thing to start getting out there as much as you can for Obama.

The experts who study such things tell us that endorsements really don’t make much difference when citizens make up their minds on who to vote for. So why am I working so hard for Barack Obama?
Two reasons. First, in my judgement, our country has suffered so much during the Presidency of George W. Bush. We embarked on a war and subsequent occupation of Iraq based on mistaken or falsified intelligence. The war has been horribly planned and mismanaged and the cost in lives lost, in resources squandered, in reducing our national security, in compromise of our principles and our constitution rights and liberties, in loss of our standing in the world, has been unacceptable. While our economy has grown the vast majority of American have not participated in the benefits, with wages stagnating, fewer Americans with health insurance, more children in poverty. The bursting of the housing bubble (a failure of our regulatory system) and high gas prices have placed our communities in real crisis and families in real hardship.
Our government has taken to eavesdropping on us, censoring the work of our scientists on climate change, failing to protect our children against dangerous imported products. The 2000 and the 2004 elections have raised serious questions about the integrity of our election systems which remain unanswered. Because the issues are so large, and the consequences so great, I have been moved to try and involve the maximum number of voters in this primary season because I believe that is the only way we can achieve real change.
Second, because I have had the opportunity to know Barack since he moved to Chicago, I feel I have some special experiences to share with voters. Barack comes to politics with a background and a deep commitment to empowering people through organization. It was as a community organizer, pulling people together for their common interests, that Barack first found his voice as a leader. I know Barack has carried that commitment to the way he practices politics. I know that commitment was reflected in the legislation that he got passed in the state legislature and more recently in the United States Senate. I have seen that same commitment in the campaign he has run for President.
I won’t try and summarize Barack’s platform here. He has a great website where those ideas are laid out in detail. What I can say is how excited and pleased I have been about caliber of young people his campaign has attracted. I believe his campaign is renewing politics, renewing hope, renewing dialog and renewing participation in this great democracy. I hope you will have an opportunity to visit an Obama volunteer headquarters and see for yourself. If you like what you see I hope you will join me in trying to maximize participation in the 2008 elections . . . and making a real change in our politics and policies by supporting Barack Obama.
A nation-wide Mock Convention To be held on August 16, 2008
Please help to get the word out! www.AmericasVoiceNow.com
My name is Victoria DePaul. I am the Coordinator of Youth in Action for Nation For Change. Nation for Change began as a grassroots organization in support of the candidacy of Barack Obama. While we remain committed to that objective we are also committed to being a positive agent of change for the Democratic Party. This is a great time to be an American. It is a great time to be a Democrat. When this race began we were faced with having to choose from amongst so many high caliber possibilities.
Over the last months interest in our political process has sky rocketed as evidenced by high first time voter registrations. It is not only citizens of voting age that are interested in this presidential campaign but our youngest citizens as well. If you doubt that ask any child of school-age who is running for president and you will be pleasantly surprised. In response to this enthusiasm and interest in our democratic political process, Youth in Action calls citizens of all ages to participate in a nation-wide mock Democratic National Convention.
This first-ever nation-wide event will simulate a real Democratic Party convention, culminating in the selection of the democratic presidential nominee. The event will allow participants an experiential learning opportunity of government in action AND have fun. So how will this happen? In all 50 states coordinators will organize activities throughout the summer that will give youths the opportunity for debate, campaigning and politicking. The event will also provide a platform for youths to be a ‘voice’ for the issues that are important to them. More information on this event can be found at: www.AmericasVoiceNow.com. Please consider how you can add your support to this event. We need coordinators, teachers, and participants of all ages, public relations assistance and more! Whatever your talent- I need you. Please forward this information to everyone you know who is interested in the American political process and doesn’t mind having fun at the same time. Feel free to contact me at info@AmericasVoiceNow.com. I will be hosting teleconferences on Sunday and Monday evening of next week.
Please visit www.AmericasVoiceNow.com to sign up and to be a part of this exciting event.

Dear KiDS for Obama across the United States,
As you may have heard, Senator Edward "Teddy" Kennedy, who has been an incredible supporter of Barack Obama and his campaign, is seriously ill.
It would be an incredible gesture on behalf of all the OBAMA kids across America, to send a teddy bear with hand-written "well wishes" note attached (hole punch with ribbon around heck or arm of the bear). He is the LION of the Senate, but he is always a teddy bear at heart.
The mailing address is:
TO: Senator Edward "Teddy" Kennedy, 2400 JFK Federal Building, Boston, MA 02203FROM: KiDS for OBAMA - (YOUR NAME HERE)
Let's show our support for this man who showed us HIS support.
Thanks,Rexie

Why don't people pick on Hillary? Hillary didn't wear a flag pin at the ABC Debate. Perhaps she does not love her country.
Thanks to all who came down to our video shoot on Saturday April 12th. We really enjoyed getting to know you all. We were impressed by the talented kids who came down. They were amazing!
