Now it's OUR time Wisconsin!! Let's show Barack just how much we support him!!! Let's not let him down!! No WAY is Hillary going to carry this state! I will be ashamed if that were to happen - but I have a feeling it won't. I just don't understand why anyone would want to vote for her... she's negative, she's phony, she's coniving and she'll do ANYTHING just to win the presidency.... that's not the kind of person I want running this country...
When I was canvassing on Saturday I was shocked/annoyed by the people that said they weren't planning on voting. How can you NOT vote? It's our right and duty as Americans. I don't get people that don't care about what's happening in this country and in the WORLD... it DOES affect THEM!
At least I went and voted today before I came into work. The weather (in Green Bay at least) is nice - (cold - but nice) the sun is out and it's NOT SNOWING for once!!! A perfect day to get out and vote!!! Especially you STUDENTS - Let your voice be heard!!!! Please don't assume that Obama is so far ahead that you don't need to vote - EVERY VOTE COUNTS!!!!
If anyone is unsure of where their polling place is just type in www.wisconsin.barackobama.com and it'll tell you where to go!
GO OBAMA!!!!
Ok kids-- We vote in Wisconsin in two days. Everyone who reads this, please talk to 25 people about voting on Tuesday. Let them know they kind find their polling place on the barackobama.com website.
Together we can give him a decisive victory in the Dairyland. Ill tell you what--if he wins BIG in Wisco--she might just hang it up!!! I mean--If she wins or comes close we will have to listen to her say--Wisconsin doesnt matter.
Lets all show her that Wisconsin does matter. And Wisconsin Wants Barack!!!
I found a lot of pictures from the rally on the Green Bay Press-Gazette website. If anyone is interested their website is: www.greenbaypressgazette.com.
Do a search for "Obama UWGB rally"...
When will it end!?! Every time I look at the news, I see Hillary attacking. She claims to be "in the solutions business" but seriously--where will that get her? The only "solutions" I hear coming from her are new attack ads and bringing her daughter into the fray. When I see her all I can think of is Karl Rove coming out of campaign retirement and pounding the sh*t out of her.
It will happen--I mean IF she wins--but I am not too worried because I see victory for all of us.
So today my hard work paid off. I got to meet the Senator backstage after a rally. Got a picture and the Governor of my state was also there to endorse. I got to take a picture with him too!
So fired up
So ready
LET GO!!
I had a chance to do some uber-volunteering for the Madison rally on Tuesday. I even missed the rally because I was told that I would get to meet him after and even get a pic! Well--as many of you know--something came up at the last minute and I did not get to meet him. Of course I was a bit disappointed but now I have another chance to meet him as he is coming to Green Bay on Friday. I will post my picture(s) if it does happen.
FYI for those that didn't know:
St. Norbert College will host Michelle Obama Tuesday night at 5:30 p.m., doors open at 4:30 p.m. The event is free and will be held at Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts.
So--my homeboy Will was on Channel 2 news for the phonebanking we did today and me---of all the affiliates my mug shows up on is FOX 11!! Whatevs. Exposure is exposure, no?
Made a dozen or so calls to Louisiana today too. Southern people are so dang nice!
Hooray! I finally have a real opportunity to see Barack speak. He is coming to Madison on Tuesday!
WHOO HOO!!

So as you guys know--I signed up to be on Team Hillary for the purpose of keeping on eye on the competition. It is so sad. They are ripping off Obamas Yes We Can slogan and saying YES SHE CAN and all the other variations. Disgusting. They also have a TOS page that reads like a lobbying lawyers guide to squashing voices. I have tried to post unbiased comments about them not resting on the laurels of polls and sure enough... the comment gets deleted. One of the rules is no posting things that are disruptive to the community, i.e. telling people to be realistic and whatnot.
All the more reasons she is an alienator and divider just like her hubby and just like Dubya.
Lets do this. I converted two hillary supporters and a non-voter yesterday. IT CAN BE DONE. IT WILL BE DONE!
Tonight at a gathering of Obama supporters we were all delighted to find almost 50 people show up to an unofficial campaign meeting. We met a woman who remembered FDR getting elected! We had college democrats and retirees and uber-professional all together for one purpose. The man who ran the meeting had admitted his first presidential vote was for Reagan--I replied that nobody is perfect.
Tomorrow the office in Green Bay will be here!! I am soooooo pumped. I can not wait to work with all these people who were there tonight.
I had a chance to talk with two women that came but had not made up their minds about Clinton or Obama. It was hard because I knew if given the right answers I would sway there decision in Obama's favor. I am glad to report that I believe I changed their minds when I mentioned that Obama has actually sent checks back to lobbyists and that Hillary has gotten money from drug companies. Why else would her universal health care plan be absolutely mandatory?!?
I ask each of you to reach out to at least one Hillary supporter and do your best to convert them.
Thanks in advance.
Im sure many of you know that Hillary team is organizing in Green Bay. Im guessing the turnout wasnt good for the first run so they are having another meeting I believe on Tuesday.
So lets go Brown County! If you dont go to the Sunday Sign Support Rally on Tuesday, I expect to see you all at Luna on Tuesday. We need to get organized and start rockin this vote in Wisco. It was the greatest thing to hear on Action 2 News This Morning that Wisconsin could end up being an important state for both candidates.
Lets hit the ground running. See you all Sunday!
A few days ago I received and email from an Obama supporter who told me that if Barack does not win the nomination that he would vote republican. I can only hope he is alone but the reality is that there are many people who think this way.
Last year when we all chose to vote for the party who promised to stand up to Bush and try to end the war in Iraq. What have they done? Nothing. Before Obama came along I was beginning to think that I was not a Democrat. I felt that my party betrayed me. I did my part by calling and writing the legislature regularly and asking for impeachment proceedings to be brought forth for Cheney and Bush. I began to feel that the newly elected Democratic Congress had only one thing on there mind. Re-election.
How could they do this? So many have bowed to King George. So many things promised on the campaign trail suddenly whisked away. I began to lose hope...
Then Barack Obama comes along and tells the world he will be running for office of the President of the United States. I was in awe. I began to find out everything I could about this man. The more I learned the more I felt that this man was so much like me. There was another person who saw a country that all could be proud of again. I saw a man with so much vision that has lacked the previous men before him that I had no choice but to follow. I was proud to call myself a Democrat again. I was inspired.
All I can say right now is to not even think for a moment that he will fail. If you speak of failure, if you envision failure, it will come upon you. I see a victory for Obama. I see a victory for us all.
