Yes WE CAN!! Join the Palm Beach Supporters of Obama group at a lunch meeting on Tuesday, May 22nd at Brewzzi in CityPlace. You can click on the event at right to RSVP and let us know if you can make it. Even if you can't make it, please RSVP anyway and let us know if there is a better time/place for us to schedule our next meeting -- we want to make sure everyone has a shot at making these meetings.
Topics will include Michelle Obama's upcoming visit to Palm Beach County in July (YES, IT'S TRUE!) and details about the Florida campaign effort from committee member Bryan Miller (who also happens to be a candidate for Florida House district 83). Bryan will explain for us how the decision to move up Florida's primary will affect the Obama campaign here, and other important campaign news.
Another super important topic will be our "TAKE FIVE" effort to have every member of the group find 5 people to register to vote in the Democratic primary -- either new voters or those who need to switch to the party from independent or republican. You'll be surprised at the people who aren't registered to vote Democratic -- people who've just moved here or just plain haven't gotten around to it. We are also planning some key voter registration drives in the summer and especially in the fall.
Join us for lunch and share your enthusiasm for Barack Obama. Hope to see you there.
