I applaud Democratic Lawmakers’ stand to rebuke Mr. Wilson for behaving badly during the President’s Health Care Reform Address. When you disrespect the OFFICE of the Presidency in the HALLOWED Halls of Congress, you need to get a dose of YOUR OWN MEDICINE.
Instead of being bombarded by media coverage of Conservative versus Liberal politicians, pundits, and Russia-viewing ‘twits’ debating the pros and cons of Health Care Reform, WHY AREN’T WE SEEING AND HEARING THE VOICES OF THE UNINSURED IN MEDIA COVERAGE OF THE HEALTH CARE REFORM DEBATE?

The most notable qualities that Senator McCain and other Republican Lawmakers stated they will miss and admired about Senator Ted Kennedy were that he “cared about the little man”, “reached across the aisle”, “was a master of compromise”, and “was a man of his word”.

THE PRESIDENT NEVER PRESENTED HIS HEALTH CARE REFORM PRINCIPLES AS A HEALTH CARE REFORM PLAN. If he did, the SAME media talk show hosts, pundits, ‘Break Obama Republican Lawmakers, and Right Wing Extremists would be ACCUSING THE PRESIDENT of devising a Health Care Reform PLAN “BEFORE” and/or WITHOUT seeking BI PARTISAN input from Congress!

THEY’LL be scrambling to create THEIR OWN “Government-subsidized” SURVIVAL System, and WE’LL be getting a, well deserved, vacation from their GETTING ON OUR LAST NERVE!

We have 435 elected house of representatives, and We have 100 United States Senators.
We have 60 Democrats or Democratic Leaning Senators in the Senate.
President Obama is a very smart and Brilliant President and He knows that he has to get the 60 Senators on Board, so instead of just leaving it up to the 60, Our President is taking the Health Insurance Reform fight straight to the Insurance Companies themselves by way of American People's living rooms and kitchen tables.
We need to broaden our focus.
We need to go after the offending Insurance companies with the same tenacity, resilience and persistence we used when we went after Wall street. We need to call them daily and ask them why are they dropping or revoking people insurance policies whenever they are getting sick? and Why are they trying to undermind and disrupt the town hall meetings with "fronter groups" that rile-up some mccain/palin voters with hatred and wrong information and then send them out to the democrats town hall meeting to shut them down and shout them down.
We need to ask the Rougist Insurance Companies are they for US or Against US?
We will not let the ROGUE Insurance Companies continue to short-change the American People, we don't care how many Pre-Paid senators that they have got tucked away in their slick, dirty-little , greasly or is it grassley "my little finger is in the dike" back pocket?
We don't want the Insurance Companies making medical decisions for us?
We don't want "Them" The "ROUGERS" making loads of money off of the sick people that they have dropped, rejected, tricked, and then denied.

1. The President OPENED HIS ARMS to the Bi Partisan way of doing things and WHAT DID IT GET HIM in return? DEATH THREATS to himself, his family and Democratic Lawmakers, LIES, SCARE TACTICS, SUB-HUMAN/ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOR AND “DUMBED DOWN” REBPUBLICAN ANTI-PROPOSALS!
2. BI-PARTISANSHIP, IN AND OF ITSELF, IS THE CORRECT WAY TO GO. However, if REPUBLICAN LAWMAKERS are UNWILLING to resolve the nation’s health care crisis IN A BI-PARTISAN MANNER, the President and DEMOCRATIC Lawmakers MUST TAKE A UNIFIED STAND AND STICK TO IT!
3. The IMPACT of the STIMULUS PACKAGE was SLOWED DOWN BY President’s Obama’s attempt to appease Republican Lawmakers in a Bi Partisan manner. Republican Lawmakers MADE IT THERE BUSINESS to WATER DOWN the Stimulus Package and THAT slowed its pace.
4. PRO OPTION SUPPORTERS, THE PRESIDENT AND DEMOCRATIC LAWMAKERS CANNOT LET HEALTH CARE REFORM GO DOWN THE SAME PATH!
5. The “WHY NOW?” argument makes ABSOLUTLY NO SENSE. Health Care Reform has been PASSED AROUND the Legislative bargaining table FOR YEARS AND YEARS. MEANWHILE health care COSTS have SYKROCKETED; the PRIVATELY insured are SUDDENLY finding themselves UNINSURED, and the UNITED STATES RANKS 37 IN HEALTH CARE AMONG EVERY OTHER INDUSTRIALIZED NATION IN THE WORLD!
6. THE PRESIDENT AND DEMOCRATIC LAWMAKERS MUST TAKE A UNIFIED STAND AND STICK TO IT WITH OR WITHOUT THE REPUBLICAN BLOCKADE!
1. If you attend a Health Care Reform forum to get answers, can you get those answers by DROWNING out the response?
2. If you want to SEE AND HEAR a proponent of an ideology you don’t believe, does TREATENING THEIR LIVES FOR APPEARING achieve that result?
3. If you disagree with someone, will PHYSICAL ASSAULTS bring them around to your way of thinking?
4. If your method of protest is CIVIL, are defaced placards of the President, Swastika graffiti on Democratic Lawmakers’ Headquarter signs, “Death to Obama, Michele, and his two stupid kids” posters, and burning Democratic Lawmaker effigies the BEST YOU CAN OFFER in regards to civility?
5. If “freedom of speech” is your motive, does DENYING ANOTHER’S “freedom of speech” make it right?

That town hall where they had people raise their hands if they opposed government-run health care and then next had them raise their hands if they were on Medicaid or Medicare--brilliant idea. Brilliant way to counter the opposition's "socialized medicine" cries by driving the point home right to the individual while not being snarky or accusatory about those who are trying to play on people's residual Cold War fears and fear of death.
"Our children are going to pay for this!" Then cover all children first. This can be rolled out in phases.
"The government is trying to force your hand regarding your health care choices!" I personally would like to see my choices EXPANDED by creation of a public option. I'd like to consider my health care provided by an entity that is not based on profit. Furthermore, I really feel the need to have a balance between public and private so they can babysit one another as well as compete and drive improvements in care and coverage. (As far as the government making health care choices for people, I have this to say: 1) Terry Schiavo, and 2) the abortion debate.)
I am glad to see Obama stepping it up. Yes, it is the role of Congress to make law. Unfortunately, they're screwing it up. Completely diluting the potency of any meaningful reform. They need some serious guidance/leadership. A flashlight, a compass, what have you. The Democratic majority should make every effort to be cooperative. They should also use their power to best serve the people; specifically, this is one of the few times they should use it to make sure a feasible and beneficial bill is passed, not a big fat piece of convoluted junk.
Death threats, racial epithets, physical assaults, placards DEFACING the President’s likeness, and EFFIGIES of Democratic Lawmakers are NOT a simple exercise of “freedom of speech”.
