I've been thinking about the apology.

I'm slightly perturbed at Sen. Obama's apology for his choice of the word "waste". It's obvious that it was not meant to denegrate the service and sacrifice given by those injured or killed in Iraq, but to point out that their bravery and selflessness was misused by the current administration, and therefore, wasted. Instead of apologizing this word choice, he should have made it clear to whom the comment was aimed. Ultimately, all deaths in all wars are wastes. It is the responsibility of our government and our responsibility as a populace to ensure that when the young men and women are sent into harms way the waste of their future increases the potential of ours. The men and women in Iraq deserve our respect and admiration for thier service, but they also deserve an administration that will not misuse their bravery or misguide their patriotism. They need Sen. Obama!

Fundraising

I have noticed that several other groups have started cooperative fundraising efforts. I was wondering if any of you thought this might be a good idea for our group, as well. If not, do you have any other ideas of ways we could be proactive in Sen. Obama's campaign?
