Independents are swayed by healthcare, educational opportunities for those on foodstamps so they can get jobs too, building subways, electric cars, solar and wind energy, ending our dependence on foreign oil and related wars and jobs for the poor!

As an independent the factors that move me are if more people can experience health, employment, go to college and get a home and car. The republicans are not inclusive people and do not even talk about how to change the future prospects for a growing group of people on food stams. 6ifty percent of children grow up on food stamps. Ninety percent of African American and thirty percent of caucasian children grow up on food stamps. I believe the country will be better off by taxing the one percent at the top because they avoid taxes by using overseas corporations and use labor in other countries especiaaly telephone and internet companies which can be regulated easily through legislation. However that is called protectionism but for USA unemployment we could resort to some protectionism and give up some cheap Chinese made products sold in Walmart and American not Philipinoes or Indians should be customer service agents for Chase bank, AIG and the telephone companiesM we bailed them out and they should have to hire Americans and cut their executive salaries. I will not vote for anyone against health care.

I do not think Fediel Castro would or has ever tortured the spouses and veterans like that! Have you! Castro? The Patriot Act tortures military nursing wives by tearing their American Navy veteran father out of their lives even though they are legal immigrants! Our military are NOT supported by the enforcement of the Patriot Act created by President Bush and Vice President Chaney! Therefore, President Obama we are depending on you to right this wrong as our President of HOPE! You told us that you would protect and support all who wore the United States Military uniform. You have the power alone to give them amnesty or pardon as an executive order while Congress rewrites the Patriot Act to excempt torture of military familiesN American IndiansN and relatives of citizens! Since my brother is being deported over a misdemeanor marijuna charge that was about twenty years ago, I mock the irony of two presidents who had similiar issues. In many states medical marihuna is sold with a prescription! But in Texas it is a crime which constitutionally it appears to be unjust to punish people for takine healing drugs! Also! I read somewhere or hear it on TV that President Bush was convicted of a DWI as he has a drinking problem! These medical issues should be treated medically for free and taxpayers should not have their finds wasted on punitive incarsarations that will not cure the illness as they have an illness that needs medical intervention to cure! Well! This is a two party Constitution for the have's and have not's! Our justice system is a embarrasment to our message that we push around the world trying to maintain our luxuries and gas guzzling automobiles instead of building subways like in London! World power? Our military serve and they just get deported wearing their US Navy Uniforms in protetest and carrying their United States Coast Quard card which is proof of citizenship as it clearly states citizen and the immigration took it on face value when it was presented on many prior travels abroad! America your idea of support your troop appears to me to mean line Vice President Chaney's private immigration jails with US Navy veterans or relatives of voters who put President Bush and His father as Commanders in Chief of our military as it is not a patriotic act as it fails to support our troops as it tortures our veterans and their spouses and children even if they are citizens. Our Highness, this is not how Britain treats veterans of the Royal Navy, My dad is a WW II veteran of the British Royal Navy and his military service check supporting him in deeds not just in words! Britain is supporting him by putting their money where their mouth is! The British Royal Navy.is the Lion of the High Seas abd Long Live Our Queen, happy and glorious long to reign our us God saved our Queen! I am loving very word of it as it has a meaning that I can associate with real life events now! Thank you Britain for being a Godly and humane country that tempers justice with compassuon! We must change the Patriot Act as it is a hateful heartless atrocity again American citizens, their spouses, children, and grand children.Thanks for the red, white and royal blue picture of the our future King of England and his beloved brother!. The British flag has an addition sign and a multiply sign because Britain always adds more benefits to our tax dollars and multiplies the goods and benfits we receive. The British choose the math signs that benfit the tax payers. In comparison, the American flag has a series of subtraction signs because for every tax dollar taken from tax payers our deficit goes higher and we get less goods and too many government services intruding into our Constitutional rights to privacy in our homes, For example, our mortgages are often sold overseas to China or to British banks like Barclays Bank. Be a lender and not a borreror be is what the Workd of God advises us. Gone are the days when Washington lobbyist pirateers in Congress were forced to shut down the government until President Clinton could balance our budget and lower our taxes and put more first time home buyers in homes! When we fight among ourselves we fall pray to an old British war strategy called divide and conquer, as our dollar sinks into oblivion and we make the red stripes in old glory a math problem we can not get right in our heads. This is the ancient Chinese communist secret! Get it AmericaV Internal fighting will keep us in the red with many subtractions as the republicans and democrats fued helplessly puts us in hoc to China and Britain so politicians have campaign money from the big companies "too big to fail". Well, vote them all out and vote only for names we never heard of because they did not side with lobbyists against us! Also, why is lobbying legal and bribary illegal? US Minus and UK X and +!

That law is so Unconstitutional, discriminatory and demoralizing to those whose lives are on the line to keep us safe America! Delay is torture to our military . Support or troops and give those thirty three thousand discharged unjustly an honorable discharge and the choice to have their jobs reinstated with a cash award to mitigate the emotional pain and humiliation they endured by this atrocious hyprotical law. We do not discharge military people who admit to committing adultry which is no greater sin than any gay act in God"s eye and to ask people to lie is a breach of the ten commandments. We do not legislate religion on the job so stop acting as if we as a nation are not smart enough to know when a law is a religious bias not a safety issue America! Stop it!

Barack is asking us to stay in the game…it is only the beginning!!!

After so many months of hard work attending meetings, canvassing, making phone calls, writing checks, traveling to other states,

MoveOn I Stand Campaign

Hi ~ Barry and I just got back from a moveon.org gathering aimed at keeping the momentum of the campaign moving.

We have accomplished so much by getting Obama elected, but like Barack told us, the job is not done. We need to continue to pressure our elected representatives to support the changes that we aspire to.

MoveOn is organizing a campaign to send 100's of thousands of photos of real Americans holding signs declaring "I Stand with Obama for" ... (Clean Energy, Health Care, Ending the War in Iraq, Diplomacy, or your own issue). The plan is to send thousands of photos to Congress, etc. and to plaster DC with select photos to let people know that this movement is not going to lay down.

Thank you OFA fellow community organizers....we are almost there!

But today there is still a few more things you can do to help finish the job until the polls close.

Your "Precinct Chair" has a list of folks in your precinct that have not yet come to the polls, this is a great opportunity.

If you do not know who your precinct chair is, here is how to find him or her in Houston: http://www.hcdp.org/precinctchairs.php

Contact your precinct chair and see what you can do to help.

Our neighborhood last night only had a list of about 100 folks that had not voted yet. Split the list with other community organizers in your area and call these folks or put a reminder to vote today on their door!

Ken from the DNC has vote reminder lit at our OFA Headquarters - 4300 Lyons Houston 77020, we must GOTV!!!

Another option if you would like to volunteer today, you can be an Obama Precinct Captain by standing outside your polling location wearing your Obama gear ready to greet voters.

Remember, these are your neighbors and if lines are long tonight they may be encouraged to stay if they see you there.

During the Primary some of the folks that came to vote stayed with us for part of the day.

If standing and greeting is not your thing, MyBO will be updating the battleground state calling list throughout the day.

The campaing is planning to post the names and numbers of specific pockets of voters in strategic battleground areas that have not made it to the polls.

This you can do in the comfort of your own home.Also there are busy call banking locations all over town, you may want to find one near you and bring snacks or drink to the volunteers.

I am so sorry for your lost of your wonderful grandmother. The timing of her death could not be worse. I am very happy that you went to Hawaii to see her before she passed. You are a very insightful kind man and I know your grandmother was proud of you.
