Emory University political scientist Alan Abramowitz is highly skeptical of the new Gallup, USA Today and CBS polls. About the latter, which showed a statistically insignificant two point lead for McCain, Abramowitz said: "One reason for the dramatic difference between the two recent CBS polls is that the two samples differed fairly dramatically in terms of partisan composition. The first sample was 35.2% Democratic, 26.2 percent Republicans, and 38.6 percent independent. The second sample was 34.9% Democratic, 31.1% Republican, and 34.0% independent. That's a change from a 9 point Democratic advantage to a 3.8 point Democratic advantage. That alone would probably explain about half of the difference in candidate preferences between the two [CBS] polls."
Making up the numbers to support an exciting story by the media. This is not the only poll to do this.

We are again at Tank in Manhattan with Young Democrats to watch the acceptance speech. It was over capacity! There where there 150 people with only this afternoon 45 confirmed. It means that everybody must of brought several other with them. It is the essence of natural and compassionate leadership for people that care take people to places and things that are great that matter. I think I got 2 extra people there from Tuesday event. It builds energy, awareness, commitment and belief. It was as if we where sitting right under the stadium watching on the closed circuit TV. Leadership Barack did his job in this aspect. Clearly highlighted the issue. Created protection from the petty and tiny republican campaign mentality to create fear, scarcity and opposition. Instead of hope, unity and possibility! Let's get people registered in every state in the country. All in the US aspire to what Obama said tonight. All could stand with America and their fellows here and around the world and say we can do better. We can take care of each person in this world. Taking care of people creates much more value than trying to take care of dollars.

I would like some help organizing a voters registration and Obama campaign awareness event in Jersey City. I would like to couple it with a Tango for a little change of pace. I think it would attract many different types of potential voters. The ideal place I think would be the new little park on the pier at Exchange Place. Just one stop from the World Trade Center on the Path train. I think it is call Grundy Pier Park it has a stage a dance floor and a wonderful view of New York City. It would be a nice event in Sept . or even early October.
It involves getting a permit from the city though. It takes liablity insurance and a specfic date. Do you know an organization in Jersey City a gym or such that could sponsor it. I can find a DJ and a Tango teacher to teach both intermediate and beginner lessons. We could get a crowd from both New York City and Jersey City. I have not set up a voters registration so I will also need help setting this up. Advice? Help?
At long last it is now becoming obvious that Bush is finally accepting the position of the people of America in line with that of Sen. Obama.
History shall be the judge, for now let us continue to keep the faith and fight the good and just fight of making sure that this country changes its direction and start the process of reclamation, renovation and rejuvenation under Obama.

Without doubt, those pessimists will be shock to their bone marrow at witnessing your game changing and absolutely nationalistic and patriotic sentiments in supporting Obama for the sake of posterity and the country’s well being.
In reality it is evident that Obama is the only one sincerely and articulately committed to changing the course of the nation domestically and also internationally in order to reposition the United States of America in a way that it can quickly and pragmatically realize the goal of leading the world in globalization of the campaign for peace, diplomacy, fight against terrorism and poverty.
Moreover the manifesto of Sen. In all humility and simplicity Sen. Obama has become an epitome of the man of the people, appealing to the diversity of Americans and manifesting the essentiality of tolerance, broadmindedness, transparency and patriotism.
This country is blessed with the abundance of leaders that abound and it is nice to know that Obama is an added personality to this awesome divine provision. This is the time for Americans to take up their responsibility of choosing the next commander in chief very seriously in order to avoid the mistake of the past.

Why is it that when McCain switches policies, it is considered statesmanship and when Sen.Obama revises his; it is Flip Flop.
Being able to examine, adapt & change stances on issues is a required trait for a politician whether inherent and acquired. A true leader is required to change the platform he stands on in the interest of the people he/she is serving. No policy matter should be personal as exhibited by George HW & son. since personal agendas tend to gravitate towards resorting to undesirable methods for implementation and execution such as fabrication, mis information, outright lies, intimidation and bullying.
Sen. Obama has made the correct choice in proposing to allow limited off-shore drilling to circumvent the present oil situation and I agree that it is not permanent solution. A comprehensive Energy policy has to implemented to include energy awareness, alternate sources, alter consumption patterns and independence from foreign oil.
I applaud Sen. Obama's revision to this policy, this denotes his ability to understand and empathize with the common people of his country.
So I am curious what people think about McCain claiming on CNN he knows how to capture and bring to justice Osama bin Laden. He may have just jumped the shark if the media or people address this.

I hope you reverse this when you get to be President..
Also, about the Iran test, something is wrong on the world, everybody provokes iranians and nobody says anything, now they test and they get threatened.
