This week the Campaign for Change held Early Vote Rallies across the state encouraging supports to skip the lines this Election Day by casting their ballots early.
Senator George Mitchell was on hand at many events across the Pine Street State to speak with voters about the importance of this election and how they could do their part to help the Obama-Biden ticket in the final days of the campaign. Hundreds of voters turned out to hear him speak before marching to the polls and casting their vote.
Candidates Tom Allen and Mike Michaud were also in attendence to speak with voters and help get out the vote in Maine.

This whole "Obama is palling around with terroists" stunt that the McCain/Palin campaign is pulling is just ridiculous and over the top. I can't believe that Sarah Palin is saying these things on national TV when they are clearly not true and very dangerous statements to be saying. There are very crazy and psychotic people out there who will eat it up. Example - a person in the crowd yelling "kill him!" That kind of attitude scares me and for them not to say "there will be no such behavior" is so wrong and shows what kind of president McCain would be and VP Palin would be or even President someday (hopefully not). I can't believe it actually has reached this point. Well I guess I'm not surprised but this kind of attitude that the McCain/Palin has shown towards Senator Obama has been down right disrespectful, hateful, and we do not need these kinds of politics in the White House or anywhere for that matter!

I am so angry. Today I noticed that there's all kinds of McCain/Palin signs all over Caribou and Presque Isle and I did not even see ONE sign for Obama/Biden. I don't understand what the hell is going on. I guess this area I live in seems to be for McCain/Palin which is beyond me and unfortunate for them for being so misguided. I also work with all republicans and some of the garbage that comes out of their mouth surprises me at how easily fooled people can be. It's very tough for me to keep my mouth shut, but I do because I'm not that kind of person. Of all the people I've asked why they are supporting John McCain, not ONE could give me a valid reason and this scares me.
SIGH.
