If Obama wins McCain is VP, If McCain wins Obama is VP - by the Constitution... That's how the Constitution says it works - by using the Electoral College.

Article 2 Section 1
(Electoral College)
".....In every Case, after the Choice of the President, the Person having the greatest Number of Votes of the Electors shall be the Vice President. But if there should remain two or more who have equal Votes, the Senate shall chuse from them by Ballot the Vice President."

Gee It looks like the person running for president DOESN'T get to choose the VP! The person with the second highest votes in the Electoral College is the VP. Which means Constitutionally - while Bush is President Gore should have been VP! Chew on that one for a while... It means for who knows how long we haven't been electing president/vice president correctly by the Constitution.

Palin - doesn't even know what Article 1 nor Article 2 of the Constitution says (neither does Cheny for that matter)... In he debate she said she Agreed with Dick Cheney that the VP position is more part of the Legislative branch and that the Consitition gives the VP more Legislative power. Um... WONG missy!

Bailout BIll BAD for WE THE PEOPLE

This week BOTH the House and Senate passed the biggest corruption bill this year! The Wall Street Bailout Bill. And yes Obama, McCain and Senator Herb Kohl helped do this too us. At least Senator Russ Feingold had the GONADS to vote against it. I'm sorry but I WILL not vote for someone who bends the American people over a barrel. Notice how they didn't tout all the PORK that went into this bill! And McCain and Obama BOTH touting they will stop the pork. Really? You didn't this week! We just can't take you at your word can we? And don't give me this "Obama will take care of it once he is in office." like Bill Cosby said "RIGHT!"

I know most people here WILL NOT want to hear this - but you had better start understanding this for this countries sake!

Both the House and Senate has SOLD US OUT! They BOTH passed this bailout bill - which IS bad for America! (see Ref: 2) How about all the PORK they "slid" into this thing that they haven't told us about (see Ref: 1)! We can't trust McCain, nor Obama to lead this country! Heck we can't even trust ANY of our Representatives or Senators! They just bent us over the provebrial barrel. Where are they going to get the money to pay for this thing? China isn't going to lend us anymore money! (See ref:3). Folks this country is BANKRUPT! The sooner we wake up and realize this the sooner we can get this country back together again.

Why is nothing being done to cover the Clinton corruption?

Why is it that the major media REFUSES to talk about the "Crime family" of the Clintons? They have more evil and corruption around them than even Richard Nixon! And that is BAD when you can say that! It is high time this infomration got out - someone needs to get it out, if the major media won't, and Obama's campaign won't becuase of trying to contiually be the "good guys" then maybe a 527 needs to. I understand Obama wanting to run a "clean" campaign, but unfortuntely in the U.S. that only goes so far before the powers that be show their true colors and become "unclean".

If nothing else Obama should be coming out and saying "See, Hillary ISN'T change, she is more of the same - negative attacks, fear mongering, spreading Fear, Uncertantiy and Doubt (FUD). She is NOT fit to be your next president. Or something to that effect.

From bouncing between all the national news shows it seems HRC is getting more "airplay" than our boy Obama. What can we do about this? I mean if he doesn't get more airtime fewer people will hear about him. I am sick and tierd of hearing about HRC, she is BAD NEWS for this country and we sure don't need her! Remember all the corrupt garbage that happend when her husband slick willie was in office? Yup, you will see a lot more of it if she gets in there. You can't say the same about Obama. Hillary will be more "pro corporate" garbage, Obama will be no corporate garbage.

There is a difference to being tough on terrorism and stripping peoples constitutional rights.

Although I would like to see Obama change his stance on the Patriot Act, it should be repealed 100% - it is unconstitutional folks! Read it for yourselves, we lost our 4th amendment rights with that slock piece of legaslation!

And those that metion about the writ of habeus corpus being "suspended" in the past need to read the constitution for when the ONLY time(s) it is allowed! Article 1 section 9 -

"The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require it."

You tell me what part of a terrorist attack is either rebellion or Invasion - the only invasion I'm seeing is the Mexican government troops invading our souther border. Oh but no one wants to talk about that do they! The only ones saying anything are the people from Texas, Arizona, and California. Oh and Glenn Beck - http://www.glennbeck.com/.

Also, more people need to be rebeling against the Real ID Act - I hope OBama sees it in his wisdom to have that struck down as well!

Oh and for those concerned about the Internet tax - I'm sure this covers that as unconstitutional same Article 1 section 9 -

Yes I am a cheesehead for Obama. I'm a registered independent who is a former Republican. I am tired of the current government we have that obey's coporate interests over listening to people, that use scare tactics to get people to give up their constitutional rights, who sit on their butts in congress and do nothing. These same people live by partisian politics and don't even really try to reach across the isle to work together. This is where Barak Obama is coming in. He is stading up and loudly saying -we need change-. He is reching out to -everyone- regardless of religion, race, or political affiliation. Yes he may be young, he may not have eleventy jillion years of experience in government, but that doesn't matter. I don't want someone with years of experience as our next president, look where that has gotten us... We are in an iligitimate war, we have an econmy spiraling out of control, we have loss of many personal freedoms and constitutional rights, we have health care costs that are way out of control and corporations that control that health care. I currently work in the health insurance business and I feel we need change - desperately. Mr. Obama I feel is the man to bring these changes. However I have a horrible feeling if he wins the presidency some nut bag will try to take a shot at him, but I'm sure he (Obama) has already considered this.

The only thing I wish Mr. Obama would address is what his stance is on repealing the Patriot Act (the item that took away our 4th Amendement rights), shutting down of Bush's domestic spying program which has violated the Constituation and Bill of Rights, Repealing of the Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA) - which took away our "Fair Use" rights. How strong does Mr. Obama feel that the Constitution is not somthing to be trampled all over as the Bush administration has done.
