A day for remembrance not politics!

I want to thank Senator Obama in advance for not using this day as a means to push a political agenda. Yet, using this day to demonstrate his immeasurable love for this country and the trials we face. That compassionate element that has been lost in past political forums that chose to use this atrocity as way of scaring Americans into their will.

This day will measure the true man in the fore-front of our nation. One looking to charge into the future, not for revenge but for resolve. Not out of hatred but out of love for our nation and the relationships needed throughout the world. Not out of fear but out of the strength and confidence that has been lost and must be regained.

I caution any persons, republican or democrat; This is not the day for your political games! Remember that and remember our lost brothers and sisters.

Message to Barack; GUSTAV!!!

This blog is directly addressed to Senator Barack Obama. In the name of GOD and you (Mr. Obama); I am ready to assist in any effort directed by you in this time of major concern. I am an IT specialist with over a decade of management experience that happens to be built like a football player. So I make myself available for anything from assisting in the network and communication efforts to cleaning up debris from the street.

The time is now Mr. President, (to be), to take charge, to lead, to react without haste but with keen foresight, to do what you do best. I'm behind you!!!

John McCain thinks you are stupid!!

Please tell me America isn’t this gullible. Why does John McCain feel that he can elect a woman as his VP and somehow level the playing field with Obama and Biden? I tell you this is dirty politics at its best and it tells you that John McCain thinks the average American is stupid...

Electing Sarah is like picking your little brother to play on your team because your mother told you to, or else! It’s like getting stuck with that fat kid with no athletic ability because there’s no one else left to choose from. If the republicans think that this somehow appeals to the female voters or the Hilary supporters; I have one thing to say.
Sarah is no HILARY RODHAM CLINTON!!!
They should be ashamed of themselves. This is a slap in the American face. Hilary not only proved through her career but also over the past months that she deserved to be in the race, deserved the 18 million votes, deserved to be a part of history. Let's not blemish this landmark in history with an Average Jo-Ann, just to make a point. Hilary has set the bar and let me tell you it's pretty darn high. Who ever takes the glory of being the first woman anything, should be well worth the hype.

America please don’t be fooled and fall for these ridiculous tricks of a suffering political group. Sarah Palin isn’t someone that will compliment as a counter balance to John McCain. This is just another crony of the republican system just thrown into a skirt, (I wouldn’t be surprised if she doesn’t have a slew of pant suits).

I think a smart move would be for Barack to announce Hilary as his number three, and then brush the McCain camp under his red carpet where they belong.

"ILLEGAL" Immagration

Sorry to hash up this sore topic in the political seen. But unfortunately I work in a city plagued with "ILLEGAL" immigration, ( not undocumented, "Illegal"!), and I see firsthand the impact caused by these people who feel they deserve everything that America has to offer but doesn't feel they need to do anything to actually earn it.

I recently had a conversation with a young lady who felt the need to call me on my "ridiculous" outlook on this situation. Stating that I'm no different than white people that go around telling blacks to go back to Africa. First and for most, I don't want anyone of them to leave this country. I just want them to pay a bill or two. Float the cost of a school book, get some medical insurance for Gods sakes. Contribute to the country that gives you everything that your country failed to.

I say "your country" because everyone immediately thinks of Mexicans when they hear the terminology "Illegal" alien. But let us not forget the countless Portuguese, Russians, Polish, and Turks, (just to name a few). Excuse me if I can't stand the fact that they come over here, work for less than the average American, (which adds to our currently rising unemployment rates), utilize, (through illegal methods), our healthcare and welfare systems, then sends their money back to their country so that it can be spent in every other country but ours, (adding to our undeniable recession).

She goes on to tell me that same old sad story of how they only take the jobs that Americans think they're too good for. Well I say, go down to your local unemployment center and ask those folks who have lost everything due to the current economic situations, whether or not they would be willing to cut a lawn, wash a window, scrub a toilet, or man a fishing barge for minimum wage. I think you would be surprised at how many hands would go up. The problem isn't that Americans don't want to do the job, it's that fact that no employer will hire a person at $8.00 an hour when they can get 2 illegals that will do the same job for $4.00 an hour.

I don't pretend to have the answers for this problem, but its not something that these politicians should be tap-dancing around or ignoring all together. It’s silly disguising it under nicer terminology like "undocumented". Yes they are undocumented but that is the exact reason why they are "illegally" in this country. I say we make it easier to become a citizen or obtain a visa for those looking to come into the US.

Get them in, get them logged and get their tax dollars.

Recant to my initial blog..

I made a drastic error in my initial blog; I stated that I was a member of the "lower-middle class". How could I be so silly. Thank You John McCain for pointing out just how ridiculously ambitious I am. Please accept my humble apologies for thinking that I could be equated to the likes of the guy that cleans the gutters in one of your seven homes. According to the standard in which you, John McCain, have set; I am a proud member of the "Lower-Lower-Lower Class.

Do you really need to ask me again; "Why am I supporting Barack Obama?"....

NO Corzine NO More!!

I'm scared! While composing my opening thoughts, I was floored by a report across a local news station. They reported that Corzine could be one of the Veep candidates or cabinet positions. For the love of GOD and the reprisal of New jersey tax payers! Please tell me this isn't true. I don't fault him for all the bad in New Jersey's government. I do fault him for not doing anything about the it despite his platform coming to the seat. He has turned a blind eye to some and have aided others (cough cough, local unions, cough cough). He doesn't care about the people on a small scale (state), so there's no way he's going to do anything different on a larger scale (federal). Stop the madness. Get him out of your mind, Knock the dust of your sandals as you leave him behind. Obama, (or camp).. NO! BAD!

I am America!!

I am a 29yr old, lower-middle-class homeowner, husband, and father of two boys. I have laboriously worked since I was 13yrs old, (not including the 15 different paper routes my three brothers and I had, and starting as early as 7yrs old for me), just to provide the basic necessities for my family and I, who grew up impoverished in Port Elizabeth, NJ. Despite my ambitions being clouded by basic survival instincts, I've managed to obtain every goal I've set for myself. My mother is a white American of Italian descent and my father is a dark skinned native of the Dominican Republic whose been in the country for over thirty years and still barely speaks the English (American) language, (but that doesn't stop him from trying). If asked my nationality I will shout American!!

I proudly waive an American flag for a country (and State) that pretends to care about me, (The Little Guy). I stand as a testament. A flawed, and suspicious Welfare program, where as a child, my family and I would go nights not eating or just eating bread with gravy; enduring cold showers and no electricity, in a 4rm apartment ran by a slum lord; while abusers of the system go un-penalized living high on the hog. A sub-par public education system designed to "just get us by" while other countries surpass us in technological advancements. I still stand proud hand over chest.

I sit back disgusted, yet sheepishly proud, as I await my little brother's return from his second tour in Iraq. Only to not understand any benefit to having gone into the region in the first place. While the military is stretch to its limits, economy plummets, the prices of goods skyrocket, and the homeland security is laughable with colors, smoke screens, and scandals. I still love my country!

At a time where we're being invaded, ( That's right invaded!), What else would you call an influx of persons not of this country, flying their own flag on our soil, while demanding we change our American way of life to accommodate them, without paying homage to the United States in any way shape or form. In the definition of invade you will see the word "infringe - to encroach upon in a way that violates law or the rights of another". In this case I am embarrassed yet PROUDLY stand as an American!

At a time where Christianity (the foundation of America) is ostracized as our nation meets head on a moral decay. Children run rabid as we defend their rights that they haven't earned or shown any regards for. Prisoners eat and live better than honest hard-working Americans. Homeowners are sued for defending everything they've worked hard for, and state government steal your American dream in the guise of Eminent Domain. While politicians legally, (used loosely), embezzle our tax dollars then tell you there's no money to support basic government functions, then stick their hands out to do it again and again. I will still stand as an American and unfortunately a New Jersey-ian.

So you ask why I stand for Obama! Because he represents me closer than any other candidate I have ever heard about, and I'm PRAYING he understands me...
